How many of us have had to deal with associates at these mega law firms? Lots and we have heard all of the comical and not-so-comical issues concerning them. You have some such as Troy A. Christiansen and Adam P. Lipsic, both of Hersh, Mannis & Bogen, incredible talent…
…Here is another group of shining stars: Annie Nakornratana Slusser, Erica Swensson, and Benjamin Valencia, these three are from the firm of M-O-L-M aka Meyers, Olson, Lowy and Meyers…
…Not to be left out you cannot forget one of the biggest, Trope and Trope, here I find a few that I love and a few…not so much. Here are a couple of my favorites, Tara Scott, Meghann Bonvie, and of course Angela Harris… …Working with Sorrell Trope you will learn things no law professor will ever teach you.
Another just wonderful office is that of Judith R. Forman, here you will find Cori G. Stockman, an integral part of the firm, incredible legal talent and most of all smart…
…Over at Susan Wiesner’s office you will find Sawsan Mansour, Amanda B Harvey, and Adam N. Schanz…
…The above is just a very small list of some very competent associates who I believe are on the fast track to fame and most of all fortune in the Divorce Game, or as it is known in proper circles, Family Law…
…Hey, I could be on to something here…sure, Soooooper Dooooooper Associates. We could collect lots of money and do mailings and put the names on office-looking letterhead and make millions, and like the others, you’ll be Sooooooper Doooooper as long as you paid for your placement on our site! What a concept!
Now on the other hand, if you have a dozen or so or 5 or 6 associates you will have what we call “God’s 2%.” Who are they you ask?
There is much more that John J. Nazarian has to say on all of this at Desperate Exes.com, which reflects his caustic sense of humor, I am not sure but it is worth a read. Super Duper Associates, could there be a song in that?

On March 17 John J. Nazarian appeared on Extra to talk in general terms about things you need to look for as red flags that your spouse maybe cheating on you.
For those of you not on dial up, I suggest you watch the interview at this URL:
http://extratv.warnerbros.com/videos/?autoplay=true&mediaKey=0c945f76-16a7-40b7-8afa-0f580b417ae1.
Nazarian gave four red flags that all women whether celebrity are not that might want to take note of.
1. If you see your spouse change from boxers to briefs.
2. If your spouse changes from Old Spice to some expensive cologne (especially if you did not give it to him).
3. If your husband normally drives about ten miles a day and you see a sudden jump consistently to say thirty miles a day.
4. Cell phone bills if the calls go up from a few minutes to sixty minutes you might want to ask some questions.
John Nazarian’s Extra TV interview he gave some additional advice it is well worth a watch. Be sure to visit Desperate Exes.com for John J. Nazarian take on all things Hollywood.
I enjoyed it and immediately asked Ken; “what are you wearing tonight?”.
Nazarian does not talk about the John Edwards or his wife Elizabeth Edwards, Tiger Wood and Elin Nordegren or Jesse James and Sandra Bullock scandals that appear to be plaguing the infotainment news.

The Birth Announcement read round the world I would guess of James Nazarian born March 11, 2010!
“There was a flash of joy within the universe early Thursday morning — my son Chris and his adorable girlfriend Victoria together brought their new son James Nazarian into the world at 4:20 A.M. James is 9.9 lbs and 21 inches, and upon hearing this I was so glad that I always gave Victoria the chair at the head of our table during dinner…extra room, 9.9 POUNDS, not-so-little James came into the world at almost 10 POUNDS!! Thank god for medical technology, as what an “OUCH” factor that had to be…I am just guessing, never having given birth.
Becoming a grandfather is an incredible thing. My middle name is James and what an honor to have my grandson named after…me! They named their son after me! I am looking forward to watching James grow, and to assure that he is in the right financial place a stock portfolio will have been put together by the time you read this! After all, if James is going to be named after me he should, at the appropriate time, have a few bucks in his pocket.
I wish Victoria and Chris all the best, and they will have to remember that for the rest of their lives they are now Mom and Dad. And their focus should be to make sure their son James has all the world can offer to him, but most of all the love and caring of each other and together sharing that with James…I am sure they will do all of that as they will be reminded “once in awhile” who James’s grandfather is.
Victoria and Chris, job well done!
Dad”
On a personal note, Ken and I have gotten to know Mr. Nazarian over the last two plus years via email and a few phone calls, ever since I talked his publicist into allowing Rose Speaks.com to pick up Mr. Nazarian’s coverage of the Anthony Pellicano trial. Mr. Nazarian is devoted to his two sons and if you look at pictures we put up occasionally with his articles of his cars (the Rolls and Bentley) you will see that the hedges around John’s home is 20 feet high. I think he has always been aware that in his business he has made a few enemies along the way, but I have NEVER seen a picture of his two sons anywhere. So to me, this cute James Nazarian, the grandson of John, he could not ask for a more protective grandfather.
We here at Rose Speaks wish Chris, Victoria and James a long and happy life and to remember your children grow up so fast, enjoy every day, and EXPECT advice from your dad, Chris, grandparents are put on earth to do that and I would imagine John will do that with grace, love and as fierce of protective grandfather as any grandchild can have.
I feel Ken and I at Rose Speaks joins with all of John J. Nazarian’s clients including in part the firms and lawyers of Trope and Trope, Hersh, Mannis & Bogen, LLP, Meyer, Olson, Lowy & Meyers LLP, Trope & DeCarolis, LLP, Ron Rale, Sorrell Trope, Michael Trope, Patrick Decarolis, Lisa Helfend Meyer, Gary Fishbein, Ira M. Friedman, Ron Litz, Harland Braun and Adam Braun. There is not enough room to name them all and the clients who became friends along the way including Pauley Perrette and Michelle Phillips. The clients he has represented so well they are proud to be named on the site of Nazarian and Associates. Clients including Oscar de la Hoya, Vin Diesel, Steven Bochco, and Les Moonves, and it could go on from there.
As you can see the list is so large we cannot begin to list them all, but I am willing to bet that James Nazarian’s birth is going to be celebrated in California by all who have been positively touched by the dedication, commitment, professionalism and knowledge John shows to his clients, and to the few lucky enough to call him a friend. Not to forget his one of a kind wit that can make me laugh with my fist cup of coffee.
James Nazarian is beautiful Mr. Nazarian! All of our best to you and your family.
Please keep comments on this article positive, Ken and I would so appreciate an outpouring of congratulations on this happiest of occasions.

Happy Birthday “No Fault Divorce,” 40 years old and counting. Well, happy for some anyways, certainly not for all. It was 1970 when the California law took effect. Now it is practiced in every state, except New York, ahhhh the East, gotta love em!
“No Fault Divorce” is a wonderful thing, except for one little thing, the human element. What is that you ask?… …blood pressure meds are a bitch. Oh for sure “No Fault” is here to stay, and so is the human element. …
…No Fault is for many just a legal term, and private investigators know darn well that there has to be “fault” and it is laying right next to “reason.” It has to be someone’s “fault” that he or she no longer loves me, and further more I want to know the “reason.” Just like in the days before No Fault. …
…No Fault there are several states that are not so friendly towards the female part in the divorce, for example Ohio. Ohio seems to lean towards the sperm donor’s side in regards to community property and support…it is just how it seems to me. I love the Chili Dogs in Toledo.
Happy Birthday “No Fault” and thanks for keeping a roof over my head!
Be Sure to Read the Rest of this article about the “new woman” or the “abs” on DesperateExes.com and while there read the article this is referenced to. Yes I did steal John J. Nazarian’s graphic artists work. Sorry but it was just too cute to pass up. Be sure you browse DesperateExes.com for other articles we don’t pick up; there is an array of great articles there.

Once again it’s “Super Lawyers” time…folks, this is so embarrassing! Embarrassing from the point that this is PAID PUBLICITY, paid for by the “Super Lawyers” themselves. Sure I have heard all about the “point system” and “input from peers,” I am just having problems telling Bullshit from Roses.
…Input from peers, and 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement-things like experience, verdicts, and settlements, transactions, clients, honors and awards — this was taken from “Super Lawyers” on how the “Supers” are selected…I am not buying it.
…And it gets even better, there is Top 10 Law Schools, The Top 100, The Top 50, The Rising Stars. Well how about this, The Biggest Wallet, The Newest Rolls Royce, The Biggest Gut, The Smallest Feet, our favorites The Best Dressed, The Worst Dressed, The Worst Breath, The Biggest Ego, The Coolest Offices, and as you see this could go on and on.
…I know some of these lawyers, and to call them “Super” would be a little like watching a train wreck and applauding. There are some very good lawyers on the list… …Oh that is one of the other fun things you can do if you buy one of these silly advertising gimmicks and that is having it framed and hanging in your office…problem, they are also hanging in all of the other “Super Lawyers” offices…..why? They too paid for it!
Hmm, I just had a thought, they should reach out to all of those unhappy clients who may have hired a “Super Lawyer” from this list and got hammered. We could then have the “Asswipe Awards,”… …could be a money maker too, and at least it would be honest and heart-felt.
Note: “Super Lawyers” does print this: “You may wonder whether lawyers pay to be included. The simple and unequivocal answer is no. …who writes this stuff? guys in long coats, tall hats and carpet bags?
DesperateExes.com will be posting our own list of lawyers who we think are the best here in the Southern California area, based on our experience and observation, not payola. But if anyone wants to send us $25,000, we’ll be happy to post your picture, suitable for framing!
To get the most from this article and Ken could hear me laughing across our house, and you can’t even hear the dogs barked from that distance; this full article is a must read, laughter is good for the soul. WARNING: Do not have any type of drink in hand or take a sip you too could have a screen full of cola as I did while reading this.
http://desperateexes.com/2010/02/04/super-lawyers-meet-asswipes/.
Be sure you visit the rest of Desperate Exes.com while there some great, funny and some serious articles. My vote is John J. Nazarian should write a book, call it Desperate Exes!.

Tiger Woods has hired Marty Singer of the very prestigious firm of Lavely & Singer. Hiring someone like Marty Singer is sending a serious message to all those who find screwing with Tiger Woods fun…the fun has ended, just ask Marty. I am very familiar with Mr. Singer, and a nicer guy you won’t find, but in saying this I do not believe that there is another lawyer on the planet earth who can do what he does, and that is to remove the “fun” from those who like to kick and stomp a celebrity when he or she is down. Taking a page from Nazarian and Associates’ game book, “you need to start fires in the ‘camps’ of others, so they can have the same enjoyment of having to put them out.” And Marty is an earth scorcher. Not even Nazarian and Associates’ “fire truck” can cool that fire.
Not to be outdone, it is being reported that Elin Nordegren has hired the biggest divorce lawyer in the world, Sorrell Trope, of Trope and Trope. One thing we can say about Tiger and Elin: they know who to turn to for competent help. Sorrell is a no-nonsense lawyer who will not put up with any games, he is the best in the profession and dam near invented divorce law. This has to be very painful for Ms. Nordegren and only time and good counsel will ease the pain in the weeks and months to come.
Visit DesperateExes.com for John J. Nazarian’s complete thoughts in multiple articles about Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren. I do hope since this is going to wind up in Hollywood, that Mr. Nazarian can continue to give us his take on things, as his firm also moves with the rich and famous. For those with the money for the very best, and money it does take, you might want to visit Nazarian and Associates to talk to John J. Nazarian about his associates about the service they offer.

Here is a story to commemorate our 3rd year of DesperateExes.com and my 19th as a private investigator. If I was to take my last breath tonight and not awake in the morning, someone would have to ask, where did he come from? My influence on the P.I. world will be around long after I am gone, that I promise you. And the guy who started the whole adventure…. Well, many readers know of my being adopted as an infant by a law-abiding, middle-class Armenian family in the 50s. John Joseph “Jack “ Nicholson and John James Nazarian have much in common in our early days on the planet, though he got here 15 years before me…he being born in New York City and I, Boston. We have let’s just say a very unusual and common thread… and it is also funny how much I always enjoyed the movie “Chinatown,” never to imagine I would become a P.I. myself one day.
…Got my head out of my ass to some degree, did well in school and off to the Navy after graduating from High School, and then began my next career as an embalmer. …I had a ball during the Disco Era and wild nights and even wilder days working at several mortuaries, one big party! “Six Feet Under” should have had me as an adviser…
…then I met Gary Lieberman, Esquire (much has been left out as many would not believe all that I have done!). Mr. Lieberman pretty much kicked my ass as well as my lawyer’s in a legal action involving my purchasing an apartment building in San Francisco….which was going well till “Mr. Lawyer” Lieberman came on the scene. That would lead to a friendship of more than 25 years that still exists to this very day, Gary was the guy who said, “John, have you ever thought of being a private investigator?” Gary Lieberman was also the very first lawyer to ever pay me, nineteen years ago, $45 an hour (it was a lot then!). Gary was first, then Lisa Meyer and Sorrell Trope, my three Jews, and Armand Keosian, Armenian. That is pretty much how I got started and the rest, as they say, is history. …those checks!!!! I have no idea where I would have ended up had it not been for these wonderful and generous people.
Gary emailed me just the other day:
“John: I have now looked at your website and I am more impressed than ever. To think that I had something to do with all of this is quite rewarding. I am sad that you didn’t talk about me at being at the beginning (just kidding). Remember when I took your deposition? The look on your face (and your attorney also) when I asked the realtor what kind of a deal this was that my client, the seller, had to put in $45,000 to close the deal???????????????? You were a good deponent……
Honestly, I am very proud to say that I know you (and knew you when) and that I paid you so much to work for me. See you soon my friend.
Gary”
Thanks Gary,
John
PS – I am sure there are many who wish you and I had never met, and the best part is that they have not seen the best yet!
