Ok folks, Dr. Conrad Murray heads to opening statements on May 9, 2011, trial to be televised. As of today the latest “defense” is Michael Jackson was so depressed and scared about money he killed himself. Ah the Google alerts pouring in, and the rumor that one of Murray’s top lawyers has been offered a “reality show” at the end of the trial.

There is a hearing on April 11, 2011 at 10:00 A. M. on Howard Mann and Vintage Pop Motion to Dismiss the lawsuit initiated by the Executors and Administrators of Jackson’s Estate, John Branca and John McClain. In scanning through the exhibits I came across one that Joe and Katherine Jackson with some of the other family members went bankrupt in 2000 and in 2002 the Bankruptcy Trustee sold some of the rights to Howard Mann. So this suit might not be as open and shut as it looks. I suggest you download the papers and let us know what you think:

We are getting the Michael Jackson documents connected first under the new software, and as every time we have changed, simplified, tried to make the site more user friendly there are a LOT of burbs. THE ONLY DOCUMENTS AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD ON THE SITE ARE THE ONES LISTED ON THE NEW DOWNLOAD SECTION AT THE UPPER TOP RIGHT HAND SIDE. We are tweaking with the coding. So far the I. E. browser is user friendly with the downloads; Fire Fox is not as much, you have to line your mouse up towards the left hand side of the error on the download button to get the document, EXCEPT when you download them from the article. Thus like with this one of the multiple Michael Jackson trials we will list all of the documents in the articles. We are trying to see what happens if you use Chrome. WE FULLY expect to have this all tweaked and working for all browsers by no later than Saturday. IF YOU WANT A DOCUMENT FROM AN OLDER TRIAL (I. E. MOST OF THE ANNA NICOLE SMITH CASES) EMAIL US AND WE WILL GET IT TO YOU ON AN INDIVIDUAL REQUEST We will be doing a short article everyday with the list of downloads that have been transferred to the new system, but also check the Download page daily.

Now with all of that said we have televised trials coming up. I have three sites I like if you intend to watch the Casey Anthony Case that we will do brief lead-in articles on their daily coverage. Seldom do I ever get a chance to just unwind and relax and think nothing except just the food I am eating. Well I got together with a ‘re-new’ old friend, does that make any sense? Let me explain, I met Daniel DiCriscio years ago, a very long time ago. He was employed at the Jose Eber Salon and had just launched his music career. Funny as it seems I remember that CD and it was not bad. I was developing my new business and offices and Daniel was busy with his hair and as I said his music. This guy has some real talent other than being ‘Daniel’. Go ahead and Google him, after you Google me.

Recently his mom died and we communicated both by phone and email and I could hear the pain in his voice as well as in his writings. His emotions were ones that had escaped me during similar circumstances that I had and I felt bad that he was at a loss in his mother’s death. We spoke further and again, it was good for me in away that is hard for me to explain.

Well through the last couple of years Daniel has assisted me in a few projects and he, like myself are tough to miss. He has a presence! The great blond hair and of course his style of dress, too bad those in power during the Anna Nicole Show missed him and found that ‘mess’ who played too many episodes. Booby Bobby or Bobby Boob, whatever. The two of us make an interesting ‘set’, black and white, sour and sweet, Beauty and , well enough, you get my point.

I suggested we get together for a bite to eat and the amazing thing here is that we are both very entertaining when it comes to the rich and famous. It was to the point I was wondering how have we missed what could be one of the best duos since Dean and Jerry, Amos and Andy, Jan and Dean, and maybe even Mutt and Jeff. My point here is that we could both have a new career, we had each other laughing and on serious points we were both on target. Especially, our thoughts on Anna Nicole Smith as well as others both in and out of Hollywood. My perspective is sarcastic and stinging; Daniel has what I call a ‘snap’, like get over it. Call me a little odd, but I was very entertained and realized it was just him and me.

I am posting this picture to make my point, when it comes to ‘Hollywood Insiders’ no one can come close to either one of us. And we both understand how far to the line we can come after all of these years bumping around Hollywood. Speaking for myself, there are things that I would never speak of and a book, is never going to happen. For Daniel the stories about Elizabeth Taylor alone could fill two chapters in his book. My time with Miss Taylor could fill maybe ten pages….thanks Adam! I recall my first encounter with Peerez Hilton and thought, “ Beast “, and having to do a short pilot with him, Lisa Stanley of KRTH ( she is the best ) and Ryan Seacrest’s assistant, what’s her name……the painful part was Peerez Hilton…and those feet!

All I am saying is watch, there could very well be some very interesting ‘tea’ coming along and presented in away that only two people in this town could present, John & Daniel or Daniel & John……that will be a hump to stroll over…..in time.

I wandered over to Desperate Exes.com today to see if John J. Nazarian had part 3 up on his critique of the trip to Europe, he usually gives us a head’s up if one is coming out but with the trip and all I figured I would just check it out.

Yeppers there is part 3 up and we will bring you all a lead in to that tomorrow.

HOWEVER, what caught my attention right off was that John’s long time friend, Julie, has put up a picture and all it said was “Happy Birthday John and Christian” dated July 9th.

Shes does GREAT graphics for John’s site Desperate Exes.com so we “borrow/swipe” them occasionally to go with a lead in story here on Rose Speaks.com and to date she has never been miffed about that.

Speaking of Julie being miffed, today as a Birthday wish, I am going to share some of the journey of John J. Nazarian and Rose Speaks.com.

I became aware of John J. Nazarian on March 31, 2007 when Rivera Geraldo’s brother, Craig, waylaid him outside a restaurant to try to get a statement about one of his clients. My thought was this is a tough guy you would not want to meet as an enemy in a dark alley. Later that fall of 2007 John did a couple of posts on the old Rose Speaks.com site and of course Rita Cosby put his email out there for the world in her book on Anna Nicole Smith, Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead, but this is NOT about any of that.

I found that John was going to cover the Anthony Pellicano trial, how great I thought a PI covering a defrocked Hollywood Royal PI’s in federal a wire tapping trial. So I approached John via email and that led to me “dealing” with Julie. I found she can tough when it comes to John. I had to do a major presentation, show the numbers Rose Speaks.com got per month, promise how the lead in to John’s article would be done etc. I really was scared of this very tough woman. However if you treat her John right, you are in like glue with her. She became delightful to work with. During the trial one of our guest writers, Sprocket, wrote on her blog about seeing John during the Pellicano trial and mentioned that John was a celebrity in his own right in Hollywood. WOW new information on this guy.

John did cover the Pellicano trial and from there a somewhat email relationship began between John and me. John did several articles and always graciously allowed Rose Speaks.com to ride on his fame and do a lead in and the numbers just went up and the readers it brought in was a whole different crowd then the Anna Nicole Smith articles and papers brought in. These people read and did not post but as I told John and Julie at the end of the day it is about page reads that a blog lives or dies from, not the number of posts.

Then came Hurricane Ike and during that time the loss of our beloved black lab, CJ, and I was distraught beyond words, sobbing with Ken and I huddled like any pet owners that lost their “child”. I sent a simple mass email out that told of our loss and asked that no one call us for the next couple of days to allow us to grieve privately (and because I did not want anyone to know how hard the loss had been for us). About thirty minutes later the phone rang and I was annoyed but picked it up, life and articles for the blog goes on I thought. NOT so, John said simply; “Rose we are going to sit here together and cry together over CJ and share the memories we both have of pets that we loved and lost”; and that is what we did for an hour. John won my heart that day; a $400 an hour PI to the rich and famous gave me an hour and showed me a human none PI side of a fellow pet lover/owner.

That was in August or September 2008, my birthday came in October and John sent me an email and said; “I am not trying to interfere or step on your toes, and I know CJ can never be replaced, but if you want another lab, save one from a shelter or puppy mill and I will pay for it, not as a payment for the writings you helped with lead in articles but as friends with the one condition that no one ever knows about this.” I think John said that because he does not like for his kind side to be exploited or he can’t lose that tough and rough PI image. He ended with, “Hell get two if you want them, keep me posted and take your time”. We found Duke and Thor at a puppy mill, heartbreaking and told John; Duke and Thor promptly came home with us. John asked about them, we sent pictures and kept our word and the world never knew of this side of John, it would not mess up his tough guy Hollywood image or allow anyone to know about this loving gift from a fellow “pet” parent.

Then came the deposition and some stupid did not know shit forum poster on that “T” site had spun a story that the Stern family paid us off with these two darling babies. I called John and told him this might come up in the deposition and what I had read from witness statements. John said; “Well F— (I think you know the words he would have used), tell them the truth Rose at the deposition”. So I told them the truth even before the deposition date and told them that the witness statement they had was not going to stand up under scrutiny with emails from this forum poster or even from phone calls between this “poster” and me. In other words their witness had no credibility and it would be easy to prove.

So today on John and Chris’ birthday we offer them our heartfelt congratulations, Chris is a great son and I have been lucky enough to talk to both of John’s sons at times. Chris had to walk his dad through what a Jpeg was from a digital camera and Chris is the one that emailed us the pictures of John by his limousine covering the Pellicano Trial we asked for. I could tell from the tone I heard between Chris and his dad, John, the love that abounded in their home and the ability to kid his dad, and John loving every second of it.

John is rough and tough and a mighty adversary when it comes to his representation of his clent, but if you are lucky enough to get a look beyond that, he has a gentle giant side when his heart is touched.

Happy Birthday John and Chris, from our home to your home and thank you so much for what you have given to both Rose Speaks.com and to us personally.

It was not until this morning that the Harris County Court Site was updated, showing that Virgie Arthur won some and Art Harris won “some”, but what? To see this go to the Harris County Court web site at http://apps.jims.hctx.net/courts/. Pick the Oral Hearings Docket Inquiry on that page then pick the date of April 30, 2010 from the drop down menu and the 80th Court from that drop down menu and you will see the following: 10:30 HRS 200824181 READY DOCKET COMPEL ANS TO INTERROGS – MTN (TRCP 168) MCCABE, NEIL C. GRANTED IN PART And: 10:30 HRS 200824181 READY DOCKET MOTION FOR PROTECTION FROM DISCOVERY REQUEST BABCOCK, CHARLES LYNDE IV GRANTED IN PART

I look back at the Rita Cosby suit and how quick her lawyer had her hard drive imaged at the start of that lawsuit and I wonder if in August once Craig Ball’s questions came out about deleting thousands of documents did Art Harris’ lawyers at Jackson Walker have his hard drives imaged by their expert Kroll Ontrack. Which by the way was Cosby’s expert as well. If they did and that company did an Affidavit as they did in the Cosby case then I am sure Judge Larry Weiman gave the hard drives back to Harris to destroy. If they have not already had Kroll Ontrack image the hard drives, which I have not seen any affidavit that they have done the images, I would still bet that Judge Weiman would order the hard drives sent back to Chip Babcock the lead attorney for Harris with the assurance that just like in the Cosby case the imaged hard drives would go into their safe until all of this is resolved.

I went back AGAIN and read In Re Weekley Homes to see the gold standard of electronic discovery guidelines for Texas. I am still betting that future court decisions will rest on this standard for all Texas Courts. For the first time I caught and read the last sentence of that Opinion by the Supreme Court of Texas. “We note that HFG is not precluded from seeking to rectify the deficiencies we have identified.” That translate in this case to “We note that Virgie Arthur is not precluded from seeking to rectify the deficiencies we have identified.” That is why earlier I predicted that the document production would be rolled back to December 2008 and started over again.

Now let’s look at the requirements of In re Weekley Homes for an independent forensic expert under those guidelines to report on imaged hard drives. “In this mandamus proceeding, we must decide whether the trial court abused its discretion by ordering four of the defendant’s employees to turn over their computer hard drives to forensic experts for imaging, copying, and searching for deleted emails. Because the plaintiff failed to demonstrate the particular characteristics of the electronic storage devices involved, the familiarity of its experts with those characteristics, or a reasonable likelihood that the proposed search methodology would yield the information sought, and considering the highly intrusive nature of computer storage search and the sensitivity of the subject matter, we hold that the trial court abused its discretion.”

So we have the following to be “cured” on the do over that In re Weekley Homes allows to happen:

1. Arthur needs to be able to verify that she has obtained the “particular characteristics of the electronic storage devices involved.” Arthur is asking for all of that in the new Request for Discovery and Motion to Compel. See Questions 5 through 8. So on Arthur’s do over she is asking for this information. Also remember in the April 22, 2010 that the First Court of Appeals stated that the Court of Appeals was; “‘Conditionally’ granted the petition for the Writ of Mandamus. The Court of appeals stated on page 29 at footnote 9; “Harris argues that, while Arthur’s request for production did ask for emails, the requests did not specify the form in which the requesting party wanted the emails produced. This argument is not supported by the record. The instructions in the requests for production stated the form in which electronic files should be produced.”

2. Arthur needs to cure or clarify the forensic expert does have “the familiarity of its experts with those characteristics”. Arthur has already done this with Craig Ball. You may not like him but he still trains most of the judges in Texas and almost all of the forensic experts in the U. S. and even the U. K. have been trained or have attended seminars with Craig Ball so they all have respect for him. Thus Arthur in my opinion has met this standard In re Weekley Homes.

3. Arthur must also in the do over show that there is a “reasonable likelihood that the proposed search methodology would yield the information sought.” Or in this case confirm that thousands of documents were deleted.

Now my guess is that this will go back to the Court of Appeals under the do over Weekley Homes provides to the Texas Courts. I have no reason to doubt that Judge Weiman did not narrow the list of people to look for here as he did with Lin Wood, the attorney for Howard K. Stern, thus eliminating any “overly broad of discovery” issues. I think discovery will continue including an up coming day three of my deposition. To date McCabe and Jackson Walker attorneys have had all of the 12 hours of my deposition and now each gets to go back and ask clarifying questions I believe.

May 3, 2010 Art Harris Motion to Dismiss Case before Supreme Court of Texas without Prejudice as Moot.

So do I like Art Harris, I don’t know the guy, should he expect a Christmas card from me NOPE. Why? Because of him this lawsuit and discovery is going to go on like the energizer bunny and the filings are going to become very technical and time consuming for everyone.

On the TMZ filing due April 30th that they “passed” or ask the court to “pass” on the May 5, 2010 hearing for their Motion for Final Summary Judgment could be for a multitude of reasons. My “guess” is that it has something to do with the Pro Hac Vice pending for the California attorney, or to get the full team up to speed. Or Harry Susman of Susman Godfrey might think the filings they did on behalf of TMZ.com and Harvey Levin and Arthur’s filings speak for themselves and thus the Court can decide by the agreement of the attorneys to rule only on the filings without the need to run up legal fees that a hearing would add to all of their clients’ bill.

When the Order comes out next week that probably Charles Babcock and Neil McCabe have been told to work together to prepare one for the Court to sign as is often done in win some and lose some hearings, then we will know who won what and who lost what in Friday’s hearing.

Remember folks what looks like common sense to all of us is not how the Court operates and with that said, I still like Judge Weiman and believe he is and will continue to go by the letter of the law and to unravel this mess.

I don’t know for sure and will look it up but I think Arthur has missed the filing deadline with the Court of Appeals to try to keep CBS and Entertainment Tonight in the case. So we have two parties out and the rest of us on a hold and see pattern.

The Broward – Palm Beach blog has posted that Larry Seidlin had two working titles the one shown here, “The Murder of Anna Nicole Smith” which is also show on Amazon and then the subtitle called “The Killing of Anna Nicole Smith” Can any of you guess what he thinks he can prove being privy to possibly “confidential” judicial records during his tenure of that three day circus in Florida?

The book, from Transit Publishing, is expected to be released on June 16, 2010; wonder if he is hoping for some great timing as before the trial in California of Howard K. Stern and the two doctors? Has he not been keeping up with the fiasco of Rita Cosby’s book? You can pre-order this literary feat from Amazon who already has a page up with a summary from the book stating:

“In his first book, The Killing of Anna Nicole Smith, retired judge Larry Seidlin unveils the truth behind one of the most watched trials in television history. Based on eyewitness accounts, trial transcripts, and confidential files, his three-year, in-depth investigation reveals what really happened on February 8, 2007, the day Anna Nicole Smith passed away.”

A three-year, in-depth investigation involving confidential files, was he able to leave the bench with those or has someone fed him some more crap?

The Broward – Palm Beach blog goes on to say in part: “…our own Lightning Larry has always been known for his probing intellect and depthy research, at least when he wasn’t speeding through dockets, playing tennis on the taxpayers’ dime, or fleecing elderly neighbor Barbara Kasler out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Seidlin in my opinion is a con man, plain and simple.”

This does put a whole new light on why those stolen x-rays of Anna Nicole Smith ended up in Seidlin’s town house garbage bin doesn’t it? Perhaps Larry Siedlin did go through a LOT of things to be sure of success if the reality show that Art Harris had attempted to broker for him fizzled.

It appears from the article that those who knew of Seidlin’s background had “speculated that the judge was collecting Anna Nicole souvenirs that might be valuable someday and that might come in handy for a… book. Well, here we are.”

This Broward – Palm Beach blog has an excerpt from the lawsuit filed against the ex-judge Larry alleging he had engaged in a “calculated plan to monopolize Kasler’s life in an effort to obtain and/or use her funds, assets and property for [his] own benefit.”

From that lawsuit:

“Seidlin spent an inordinate amount of time with Kasler in her apartment. Seidlin was overly affectionate and physical with Kasler. Seidlin would often publicly fawn over Kasler, touching her face, tousling her hair, and calling her “my baby.”

Seidlin would sleep in Kasler’s bedroom. He also showered at Kasler’s apartment and would leave articles of his clothing at her apartment. When Kasler received sponge baths and was dressed and undressed by her aides, Seidlin often would not leave the room, but rather, would sit bedside.

Because of the pervasive manipulation and isolation of Kasler, she became totally dependent…”

With that catch up I have a couple of questions; did Art Harris broker this book deal for Siedlin as he tried to broker other book deals? Art Harris is friends with Seidlin and tried to broker a television reality show for him in the summer of 2007, as well as Harris says Geraldo is a good friend of his. Why did Anna Nicole Smith’s Estate grant the licensing for this image to appear on the crying ex-judge’s book jacket front? More importantly can a judge retiring take confidential files from his court to write a book? Ah yes, I have a lot of questions about crying ex-judge Larry Seidlin, his book and what happened in the dramatic conclusion of the burial hearing when sobbing Seidlin said “and I will never talk about this case again”. Translated unless I get a LOT of money.

Should Rose Speaks.com get in line for this book so we can debunk it with the ease we did Cosby’s blond ambitious book? Do you think this book will spin off a new defamation case and if so by whom?

In other case news, the South Carolina Court has set January 27, 2010 at 9:30 AM for an in camera hearing for the request of G. Ben Thompson’s South Carolina lawyer, Mr. Joyce, request to withdraw from the case and the Court has stated that G. Ben Thompson must be present.

In the Tarrant County suit on January 21, Neil McCabe entered his Answer, Special exception and Intention of designated third parties in the Teresa Stephens’ case. On January 22, Don Clark entered his Answer, Special Exception and Intention of designated third parties or adopt any other designation of third parties for any of defendants.

Remember that Ken will be doing updates on both the blog and forums this weekend however neither of them will be down at the same time, his work will be on Saturday night, January 2.

We have asked that all of you think about what are the best cases we have covered this year. What are the saddest cases we have covered? What are the most interesting to you? What do you want to see in 2010 covered? You can list up to five cases if you remember that many.

For me it is for the best cases, a toss up, I am not sure if I would list the “best cases” as those who settled in a way I was pleased. So many of the people we have covered in 2009 have been heartbreaking. The most interesting one was the Howard K. Stern vs. Rita Cosby, there were so many publicly available depositions and filings in this case that for someone who loves legal papers this is the most interesting one.

The saddest cases we have covered would be the Casey Anthony case. The most frustrating one was the Roland Carnaby alleged CIA case. The federal court granted the motions for Summary Judgment so we will never learn what really happened in that wreck, why the computer went to the Secret Service, and of course this will continue to feed the conspiracy nuts. The death of John O’Quinn was another tragedy. I remember in 2007 I said that we were witnessing two titans in the legal field in the numerous Anna Nicole Smith cases and I predicted one would go on to be thought of as the top lawyer with the most recognizable name and one would retire. I was so wrong about that I still think of the people who loved this man, yes there were many, facing this first holiday season without their colleague and friend. This is followed by the Michael Jackson tragic death and the beginning of family members fighting to control his Estate. For some reason that always happens and it must be very heartbreaking for all three of Jackson’s children. The two most bizarre cases we followed in 2009 was the Lori Drew federal criminal case of violating the TOS of MySpace and of course we can’t leave out Michelle Bruan, the Hollywood Madam

For 2010, we will finish all things Anna Nicole Smith as we have always promised, although I have to admit I am really worn down on these cases and will be glad when the last one to wind up hopefully by the summer of 2010. We will cover the Casey and Caylee Anthony case in 2010, as I have said many times I do not like to cover missing or murdered children because it is heart wrenching to me. However as the documents become public in this case with three trials coming up in 2010, I feel this is a have to case to follow. I also think Michael Jackson’s death, indictments, trials and continued fighting over his Estate will be at the forefront of our coverage. Now that Roman Polanski’s appeal to drop his case in the California Appeals Court has been denied we will follow whether the U. S. is successful in expediting Polinski and if so we will cover that trial.

This many high profile names in the headlines yesterday just from California is a good day for tabloid news, well except for Feel Good AG Jerry Brown of California. It almost appeared as the gubernatorial race is gearing up for 2010 Jerry Brown wanted some reason to give a press conference. Hey Mr. Brown, why Dr. Sandeep Kapoor and Dr. Khistine Eroshevich, you have a bag full of press time and face time if you would just discuss the case that is over shadowing the news media locally, nationally and internationally, remember Michael Jackson and Dr. Conrad Murray? The two doctors currently in court were doctors who main crime appears to be is being struck by the celebrity of their patient Anna Nicole Smith; thus involving a celebrity patient, Anna Nicole Smith, accidental death from prescription medication. On the other hand the Michael Jackson and Dr. Murray, involved a dangerous anesthesia, Propofol, IV poles and with a warning that a doctor is never suppose to give this powerful and potential lethal mediation except in the strict confines of a hospital under supervision with a crash cart nearby because it can kill your patient.

Dr. Perper ruled in Florida, that Anna Nicole Smith’s death was an accidental combination of prescriptions, with neither doctor that now faces a trial even present on her day of death. Michael Jackson’s death was ruled a homicide and that occurred in the state where feel good AG Jerry Brown, had jurisdiction over the corpse of Michael Jackson, you know he died in your state; jurisdiction over the dangerous Propofol anesthesia, equipped with IV poles, and a giant warning on it’s label of “DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME; and to make all of this a tidy backdrop for a picture perfect AG Jerry Brown to have a soapbox news conference. Brown has jurisdiction over all of the people, the celebrity death and the anesthesia and you have the physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, and yet Brown claims, if infotainment news is to be believed that Brown is laying low on the Jackson investigation, WHY?? Is that an admission that the Kapoor – Eroshevich investigation was botched by your office? Now that is not going to look good for an eighty year old “wanna be governor” who is setting his stars on the Smith death to gain the governorship of California just one more time. If you live in California would you want Brown in charge of your money and saving your state from total meltdown financially?

However, Brown not to be deterred sent his assistant attorney general; the one that would take over Brown’s job if at eighty Brown became sick while serving as the Attorney General of California. From the accounts inside the court room that poor man got his arse handed to him with a strong lecture, you have to wonder if this guy was worried that his boss, Brown was not going to get that face time Brown was hoping for. However, if Brown wants face time and plenty of it as the election year rolls around, my advice try concentrating on the Michael Jackson homicide, doesn’t his three small children deserve any less from the man who would spearhead any charges connected to their daddy’s murder/homicide?

Following sending Brown’s representative by to Brown’s office some strong directed words, only as Judge Wesley could do Brown’s guy was sent backing.

After the hearing, Eroshevich’s attorney, Adam Braun, told the media that; “There’s simply no basis to prevent her from practicing medicine at this point.”[This case] is related to a single patient and on its face, it’s laughable that she would [be deemed] an imminent threat to the public.”

Judge Wesley sat a “boring” Motion and how to interview those pesky people who stole a few things from Anna Nicole Smith and as one source who knows Ford Shelley said; he is strutting like a peacock saying he is the KEY witness in sending Howard K. Stern and the two doctors to prison. Well that is unless Shelley is indicted before he appears on some pesky federal charges for paying an FIDC bank loan off with a forged rental agreement which was not worth the papers Ford Shelley wrote it on. Shelley might just graduate from a no body to a high profile person in a way he does not want. Once source told us because of Shelley handling the family business in such a shell game stunt it has ripped the family apart and that Gina, Ford Shelley’s wife, has to do nails and hair to try to keep her husband afloat. I guess without Anna Nicole Smith’s Estate’s belongings to auction off for a flow of cash, Shelley is finding himself a tad broke, and minus family support. Wonder if this will be a wonderful holiday season for Shelley? Will the Thompson family invite him over for dinner, I am told don’t hold your breath and if you are going to make a bet, it would be that Shelley will be left out in the cold.

Back to the California criminal trial, Judge Wesley has set one “housekeeping” Motions, discovery, handing over more evidence to the defense etc. for Friday, December 18 and a tentative trial date of February 5, 2010. However, Steve Sadow, the lead attorney for Stern told the waiting press that because of Motions to be filed and the schedule of the Court his client’s trial might postpone until sometime in the summer of 2010.

I wonder if that will be enough time for Brown to decide to get the microphones ready for a series of news conferences to trout out the Jackson homicide for his gubernatorial campaign.

A court watcher media person told us from yesterday’s hearing that Stern looked more self assured, even with a tad of arrogance. My thoughts on that is I would be willing to bet if he has extra money these days jingling in his pocket and room to take a deep sigh these days that would be courtesy of Rita Cosby, although everyone is keeping mum about that to be sure something like the O’Quinn settlement from appearing on those pesky gossip sites, like “T”.
