John J. Nazarian and Charlee on the job

After more than 18 years working as a private investigator in the arena of DIVORCE there is nothing I have not seen. We get hundreds of thousands of people coming to desperateexes.com either looking for help, trying to figure out what just happened or is what is happening to them ‘normal’. There is nothing ‘normal’ when two people who once loved and/or cared for each other are trying to gut each other like a pair of rainbow trout! Nothing at all! And sometimes they try to do it ‘pro per’ and most of the time they have DIVORCE lawyers or as they like to be called ‘Family Law’ specialists.

We will use ‘real’ words, I love the word ‘DIVORCE’, family law sounds like a pleasant experience. Folks none of this is going to be pleasant, maybe two or three times I have had clients who realized what time it was and did the right thing. What you ask is the right thing? You have ten dollars and you take five dollars and the other side gets five dollars. Otherwise the ten dollars goes like this, your lawyer will take $4.00 and the other lawyer will take $4.00 and some lucky private investigator will get $1.50. I have made this as simple as I can and yes I have seen this done with millions of dollars and yes everyone was thrilled, that is the lawyers and me!

The subject of these articles will be based on real people going through a real day in court. No one has ever accused me of mincing words and if it is a pig I am calling it just that, a pig. America is a ‘melting pot’ and along with that pot is some cultural habits that don’t change because some of these people now live in the U.S. You can see this horse crap in our civil courts and our criminal courts. So I hope that my perspective will help women and men who have decided to take the plunge and DIVORCE each other. Nazarian and Associates thanks RoseSpeaks.com for their interest in these observations from a courtroom in America, sure every state is different but there is very common denominators when comes to ‘screwing each other’ in the game known as DIVORCE.

We will be doing lead in articles to John J. Nazarian’s series of DIVORCE, I wish this had been available to me at the time, and I think and we hope this will cause both thoughts and dialogue. If you have a question ask Mr. Nazarian if he can I am sure he will either answer it or address it in an upcoming article.

John J. Nazarian, P.I. Extraordinaire

This morning we heard from the FBI in the somewhat surprising role of expert defense witnesses: former agents Mr. Bruce E. Koenig and his sidekick Douglas S. Lacey. Mr. Koenig was a Supervising Special Agent and worked in the audio field for many years; Mr. Lacey was an electronics engineer. Both were very impressive while Ms. Glaser was having them demonstrate their knowledge. Mr. Koenig was the mouthpiece and Mr. Lacey moved his fingers and worked the equipment.

The Prosecutor Mr. Saunders was batter up and he was right on target — it was not as easy for Mr. Koenig to explain himself (but it was very obvious that Mr. Koenig had done this before). Saunders was on the attack, and asked him the “$64,000 question”…it was his turn to try and make one of the defense witnesses look silly, and in my opinion he did! When Saunders relentlessly went after Koenig for his opinion with a “yes or no” (remember Glaser’s technique), Koenig wriggled in his seat and said that he could not answer the question “yes or no.” Koenig liked “I don’t know” for an answer and the defense, having spent in excess of $64,000, were also happy with the answer. Don’t forget this guy is “royalty” in the F.B.I. for his knowledge of audio forensics and now he is working for the “other side.”

So after the judge looking at Koenig like he was just short of a six pack and Saunders wanting to throw the podium at him, Saunders shot back, “your opinion is that you don’t have one!” which brought laughter from the courtroom and the jury. Oh, the jury…I am standing strong on my opinion that the “reasonable doubt” is alive and well in the jury box. And let me tell you, all of this “yes,” “no,” “could be,” “I don’t know” is the next best thing to warm donuts…it breeds “reasonable doubt.”

…. as it showed that just maybe Pellicano did something to those recordings (reasonable doubt)…but why is my question. …

…And who cannot relate to shit service from the phone company! They invented it.

Well, today is the 14th of August and it was warm, real warm. The conversation was about the $300,000 Bing gave Pellicano, or was it the measly $150,000 that Christensen gave him, and was that why Anthony did the now famous “Pelican Shuffle”: play it from both ends. baby. And remember he seldom left the office… We have all seen how it is done in the first trial of the feathered one and his now infamous gang, did it happen again? All that money and a nice room at the Bellagio. You have to hand it to this guy he could really manipulate his rich clients and play the game. Well, his good friend Judge Fischer will hand him something in a few weeks…he giggles and tries to cajole her and tries so hard to be cute and it is just short of wanting to make me and a few others who are watching want to PUKE!

…My old friend Anita Busch showed up and breezed right through the cross, as I am sure the defense did not want to get her wound up. Anita was quick to remind me that when all of this first happened it was me who talked to her three to four times a day and gave her advice. However, it was she who said the L.A.P.D. was involved and I said that I did not think so! I was wrong on several fronts on that case…I did however offer to sleep in her doorway if it would have made her feel better. She like so many others did not deserve this. I think my phone bill went up last month, probably to give to her and the other victims of “the phone tap guy.” She was looking fresh and strong…good job Anita, we at Desperateexes.com wish you and all the others all the best and feel free to call me to help spend that money when it arrives.

Well the government put up Lisa Kerkorian’s phone bills for all to see today…I already know she is not going to like hearing this. All present now know where her dad lives and how long she spoke and even the numbers of her friends from back then…I am sure none of it is of any use any longer…glad they did not involve her laundry. Ms. Kerkorian is going to play a major role in the Terry Christensen case and she could be called to testify. I am telling you all right now, she won’t take any crap from the defense and that will be one day I won’t want to miss. She is still stinging over the injustice that was served up to her and through what would appear ALL ILLEGAL MEANS. I know her and I like her….I think that there is someone telling people in and around the courtroom that I have a relationship with Lisa and to be careful. Yes I do have a relationship with Lisa as well as with several others who were victims of Mr. Pellicano…and so what! My thoughts and take of the events are just that…my thoughts. I hold no grudge towards Pellicano or any lawyer that used his services. Some got away and the rest will go down in history (lawyers and P.I.s under Funny Business).

Harlee Gasmer is a former partner of the wind bag firm of Kolodny and whatever. Harlee is no longer in family law…she is saving her sanity with a family business. One thing was very evident in her testimony and that was how tough it was to control Lisa Kerkorian and how often Lisa just wanted to move on. No surprise here, Lisa K is a very smart women and she knew she was not getting what she was paying for and getting her ass kicked in court…but the money (over one million dollars in fees in under a year) that she was paying was great for someone (# 1 windbag)…she would move on and retain Lisa Helfend Meyer and the power house firm of Meyer, Olson & Lowy…not cheap either, but motivated and they dress well!

John J. Nazarian, P.I. Extraordinaire

Arrived a little late this morning to the Christensen…

The Christensen legal team is kicking ass and it is Patty Glaser taking the lead. Folks, this is one investigator that is very impressed, and as many of you know it is not easy to impress John J. Nazarian. She was again on top of her game today as she made Mr. Lopez, the “Asset Protection investigator” from AT&T/SBC/shit service phone company, wish he was anyplace else but sitting in that box staring at this woman (Glaser), and he now wishing she would evaporate. She did not — she only got stronger and she made Mr. Lopez look pretty silly as to his not following up on several critical areas that should have been of huge interest to him. Such as were did the tap go? This was not a concern to Mr. Lopez…go figure, he could have done a great deal to locate where these phone lines went that were tapped by you know who and his gang… but he did nada.

Terree Bowers and Glaser are doing an incredible job in trying to get Christensen off the “cross.” The only thing I feel that Christensen has done wrong is that he trusted someone with no honor and got double-crossed. Pellicano taped his calls with Mr. Christensen 34 times…why does anyone record his own guy 34 times? Terree Bowers is no sleeper here either folks, a former U.S. Attorney, one time Chief Deputy City Attorney for L.A. and now a partner with Howrey, LLC…talk about a class act! And thank god that his style is different than Patty’s, otherwise the Feds would need ambulances parked out front to take some of these flakey participants (ie, witnesses) to a hospital. I have always said that if you want to be a witness and testify…well here you are…having fun yet?

No one can look at this story and not feel a little sorry for Terry Christensen. He practiced law for many years in this town and if you had the money he was a go to guy. I have been quoted many times that I don’t play nice and I don’t think you are supposed to when you are gathering information. And powerful law firms exists for powerful people who choose to pay the fees and expect results. Is Terry Christensen guilty? Maybe or maybe not…what is very sad is that this is a classic example of “selective enforcement.”

…Anthony Pellicano was very “giddy” today, he laughed and smiled like he had a bunch of misplaced feathers stuffed in his behind. What gives? Terry Christensen is fighting for his professional life as well as his freedom and the guy who caused all of this is acting like he is going to a dance, and right in front of Terry (if I was Terry I would pick up the heaviest thing I could find and smack this silly bird with it). Anthony needs to sit and shut up and let the Christensen defense team “tune up” the jury. …
