Sheila Williams busy lawyer

NOTE FROM JOHN J NAZARIAN: I have never worked for Ms. Williams office, and dont care if I ever do. Not sure my office is within her budgets. As a matter of fact, she was rep’ing the other side and was a real adversary, ‘she knows her stuff’. Think I am putting you on….go mess with her….and remember this article.

There is a real class act in the Palm Springs area and it is not a Ritz Carlton or a Four Seasons. It is a Sheila A. Williams, Esquire, never in all my years of working in the field of DIVORCE law have I run up against such a presence. You are not going to miss her, trust me, she is engaging, funny and nothing short of incredible, I like Sheila! Oh for sure I have written and talked about many lawyers across the country and especially in the Beverly Hills area, but Palm Springs?

Here is a thought, there is not another divorce lawyer I can imagine in the entire desert community that could come close to the knowledge of Sheila A. Williams, tough. This woman is a one woman wrecking crew. She is as clever and smart as they come. I feel sorry for any lawyer who might think that this gal is going to be easy pickings, you will move forward at your own peril if you do. Don’t be surprised if by some chance you get hit with one of those desert sand storms and your car has no paint and your are standing in your socks! Listen to me, you have been warned, if you go up against Sheila A. Williams she is going to S.A.W. you into pieces and you may not even realize it for several hours after it has been done. Those are her initials…was all this planned?

Sheila’s practice is very nice, above nice, done right — show up for a meeting, she will have a light breakfast for you. If you pick the right day she may even have your car washed! Someone very close to me told me that it was a pleasure to work with her and agrees with me that she is “right on target” constantly. If you retain her you are doing the opposing counsel a dis-service, she is going to ruin each and every day for them and in such a manner that they will wish that you had hired someone else. One more thing, in the desert this “Legal Eagle” has not one competitor, NONE and Sheila knows it. Sheila has such a talent that she has no boundaries, she can do it all. For John J. Nazarian, my son and I liked her the first time she looked over her glasses at me and said, “I want you to stay, have a seat.”

One more interesting fact, could we be looking at a future Superior Court Judge here? This would be just what the judicial district needs, Sheila A. Williams, Esquire.

Don’t be shy, call her, I am going to give you her numbers, office, 1-760-323-8377 or try Sheila on her cell phone, 1-760-219-8923. The office is located at 2122 E. Barristo Road, Palm Springs, Ca. 92262. If you’re getting ready to put the trash out and need a great divorce lawyer to help you, call Sheila A. Williams…tell her please, that your read our comments here on DesperateExes.com.

Elizabeth Taylor

When I think of Elizabeth Taylor, I think of my Mother, let me explain; ever since I was a little kid, Liz and my Mother seemed to be living in two different worlds yet shared very similar life experiences and illness problems later in life. Sometimes the cards piled up against Liz and it seemed she wasn’t dealt a fair hand, and I could hear my mother saying, “Oh, poor Liz, I feel for her. I would love to talk with her because it seems she and I would understand each other”.

I know a lot of people feel like Liz Taylor was family to them or an inspiration; her lavish and amazing lifestyle and career were what motivated a generation. She was such a huge star that everyone feels such a strong connection to her.

You can maybe try to compare her to one of today’s new Hollywood generation crop of starlets or socialites like Paris Hilton, one of her relations, but there is no one like Liz! A lot of Hollywood’s Movie A listers claim what a huge influence she was on them and some of them may even copy her style, but to be the first of your kind is very hard to duplicate.

Beside the fact that Mom and Liz both were Pisces; they both liked lavender, they were loving and caring yet brutally honest at times, and a somewhat resemblance that in some photos was “spooky” to me… Liz would have been my Mom’s doppelganger for Face Book!

I remember Liz at a Halloween event I attended in 1998 called “Dream Halloween Children Affected by AIDS Event” at Barker Hanger at The Santa Monica Airport. She was platinum blonde! She had everyone at this event on their feet applauding when she took to the stage. She was the Fairy Godmother of AIDS causes! This was an amazing appearance for her since in 1997 she underwent brain surgery for a benign tumor. I actually couldn’t believe how great Liz looked sans her famous teased hair in her LIFE Magazine post brain tumor operation photo spread! At the event many A list stars showed up in Halloween costumes, like Jamie Lee Curtis in her “Cat” Costume. I remember when Jamie Lee was coming off the red carpet and she was twirling her cat tail and walked up to me and “purred”! Jamie is fun and never takes herself too seriously!

Liz was a very private woman, yet was very sweet and friendly and down to earth once she let you in her world. I first met Liz when she was married to Larry Fortensky. I remember Larry Fortensky and I talking one time, he just rolled in from Palm Springs and was absolutely “smitten” with Liz. Larry was not the typical “Hollywood” type of guy that you think Liz would have been with, but in reality, Larry was what she liked and needed… at that time! Liz had so many marriages to “dream guys” like Conrad Hilton, Eddie Fisher which sparked a war with Debbie Reynolds, Richard Burton and so on, that made every woman in the world dream what would it be like to have been her.

Although, Liz could be brutally honest and be a “broad” at times, and this is what made her so unique. She was strong, yet weak at times.

Her weight gains and losses made news as well as her fashion and hair choices. Her famous mole even made news! Funny, I have a mole on the same side of my face like hers, as so did my grandmother! Hmm, coincidence? Joking of course!

Whether you liked Liz for her acting, persona, charity work, her “White Diamonds” perfumes, or heck you just liked “Her”, she is a legendary lady and “STAR”… yes, all capitals,… and she will be greatly missed. I am sure she will never be forgotten, how could she?

The list of movies that she will be immortalized in; “National Velvet”, “Giant”, “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf”, “These Old Broads” her last movie, and “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” and of course my personal favorite “Cleopatra”, just to name some.

The funeral for Elizabeth Taylor was held yesterday, Thursday March 24, 2011 at 2:15 PM, 15 minutes “fashionable late” per Liz’s instructions. It was a private service at the same cemetery where Michael Jackson and in the same Mausoleum as Jackson.

Daniel DiCriscio Praying

I remember a month before my Mother passed away she called me and Liz came up in the conversation because Liz was admitted to the hospital. My Mother said to me “I wonder who will die first, Liz or me?” Anyway, Liz is gone and she will be greatly missed. Legends Never Die.

Murder of Ronni Chasen

Ronni Chasen had not updated her will never thinking that she was going to be slaughtered in one of the most horrific murder scenes on Sunset Boulevard in recent memory (this is not to exclude the killing of Lauren Ann Freeman by a hit and run Bentley driver on Sunset just a few weeks before!). Ronni’s family had a life and their own money and careers way before Ronni was murdered. Now pay attention, a colleague of Ms. Chasen’s in Palm Springs has put a $100,000 reward for…

…big money will light a big flame under this case and keep it simmering hot.

….Here is what I am suggesting: the family could put up $500,000 to $1,000,000 as a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved in her murder. Those that were involved in her murder are not the only one or ones who know, there are….

Note: My suggestion is in no way meant to place a cloud on the loss to this family…I really believe that a large sum of money will make a huge difference in bringing the killer out into the light, and it is one way for the family to help find some justice for her. Please do not take from this suggestion that the family may well already be thinking of doing this, I don’t know.

There is much more in John J. Nazarian’s thoughts on how there could be help for the Beverly Hills Police Department to solve this murder sooner than later in the complete article at the link below. Charlee Nazarian

Well as I often do I found myself in Palm Springs and loving it. My good friends Frank and Elaine McClain have a spectacular home here in Palm Springs and it is one of the nicest I have been in. The place is just perfect! I have helped Frank just a little I am sure over the years, as he is without question one of the best Rolls Royce and Bentley mechanics on the planet…third generations working on these custom built rolling money pits! But I love ‘em, the cars.

The primary reason for my trip was to meet with Ros Soudry, Esquire, and her family for dinner at a local eatery. …

….I chose instead a “new” place. La Dolce Vita Resort and Spa…this place is interesting. Like many places here it is clothing optional…and like many of these places here in the desert, lots of older people. For me I will always have a pair of shorts on, did as a youngster and in all fairness to the environment will until I am tucked away for a dirt nap. Folks, there is nothing more scary than old men attempting to get comfortable on a chaise and you happen to walk by, the view could turn you to salt! What is with old people who want to run around naked….I know what you are thinking, “why do you come to these places?” Well, they are small and run well, clean and easy for me to park and walk to my room. Nudity was meant for the younger people that is why in Rome all the old F&%ks wore togas, I am sure. …So here I will sit, in a walking and breathing gathering of what looks like candidates for a “pre-need convention” ….it is the season!

The Motel is nice, my bed was so F’n hard that if I had gone into a state of cardiac arrest the fire paramedics or whoever could have done compressions right there without moving me to the floor. The room is classic old Palm Springs… …Now I know lots of older people like a hard mattress, seems nothing else is getting hard so the mattress is good.. …From 5:30 to 6:30 Ken and Tim have what is called “social hour” and the hard liquor pours and is all top shelf and free for one hour…try and get that at a Hilton or a Marriott, NOT! …. …Spa treatments we received at the Rosarita Hotel and Spa…nothing will ever compare to those services and price. … would I return, most likely yes!

La Dolce Vita and for those of you in the Funeral Business, what could be bad about having a convention in Palm Springs? Bring lots of business cards.

PS: Some places now say they are “Pet Friendly,” well here too, except your furry friend has to be 20 pounds or under!??!???!?. Well, Charlie weighs in at 85 pounds and is let’s just say not a “sissy” dog. So what gives? Charlie is more well behaved than most miniature mutts that I have been around…and we have a few of those little furry ones and if someone does not mention the words “Doberman Pinscher,” he too thinks himself as “little.” However, he was trained well as a pup and in the end he is “my dog!” So let’s put a stop to this “canine profiling”…I cannot help but wonder when some creative individual will at some point file a lawsuit as to why “Dick and Pete” can have there and John cannot have Charlie, his 85 lb ambassador. Tip, we will be having Charlie certified as a “Service Dog” and thus his admission to be with John more often when he travels.
