Teen Text Murder Victim Mike Yepremyan

Once in a while our justice system works as it should.

GUILTY ON ALL COUNTS IN MIKE ‘GOMBERT’ YEPREMYAN TEEN TEXT MURDER TRIAL

Zareh Manjikian and Vahagn Jurian guilty of murder and other charges.

Hovic Dzhuryan and his sister Khatun ‘Kat’ Vardanyan guilty of conspiracy to commit murder

Mike Yepremyan was murdered November 2009 and the trial began just a few weeks ago June 2012. Mike is the first highlighted teen text murder case in the U. S. involving the California Homicide Detectives, the U. S. Marshalls as the murderers fled the U. S. and the FBI for those hiding here.

On the Yepremyan murder case it was the lawyers, Michael Levin, Esq. Alex Kessel, Esq., Levin is representing Zareh Manjikian and Kessel is representing Vahag Jurian. Also present everyday is Hovic Dzhuryan and his sister Kat Vardanian, Anthony Brooklier is representing Kat and George Mgdesyan is representing Hovic.

Judge Gregory A. Dohi of the Los Angeles Superior Court is presiding, Dept. E. Judge Dohi has only been a judge since being appointed August 29, 2007. Prior to that he attended a mid level university back East, Harvard!! And then went to Boalt Hall School of Law, one thing we can say is that this guy has educational credentials in the highest categories of law.

Judge Dohi was admitted to the bar in 1991 and joined the District Attorney’s office as a prosecutor.

Artak and Arni Yepreyman was in the court for the reading of the verdicts. Let’s hope as each GUILTY!!! was read they found some peace in God’s hands, that our justice system although slow, can work! We do not know if Danielle, Mike’s former girlfriend was present but as we get updates you will get updates.

Special thanks to Lt. Hamilton and Detective Thomas Townsend, of North Hollywood Division of the L.A.P.D. Homicide and their team of team of homicide cops, The Los Angeles Grand Jury for indicting these four and Office Kirkpatrick and John J Nazarian Celebrity PI who just could not walk away from this case.

As Nazarian once said; “These people who were involved in the killing of Mike Yepremyan are looking at a whole lotta of time, and the district attorney’s office is going to be sure they get all that they got coming to them and more, time is wonderful unless you are in a state prison.”

In a L. A. Times article today by Robert Faturechi;

“the indictment also named another member of the group, Lazar Petrosyan, who authorities said is being treated as a witness, not a suspect.

We will be verifying this as soon as possible, but my bet is because of the flight risk, Kat and her brother will be spending their first night in jail the first of many.

R.I.P. Mike and may your family be comforted by knowing they stayed the course and may sure you were remember both of your organ donations, but also they never tired, they saw your killers brought to justice.

Congratulations to Lt. Hamilton and Detective Thomas Townsend, of North Hollywood Division of the L.A.P.D. Homicide. Why you ask am I saying this you ask????? Well let me just start by saying whenever you have DATELINE or 60 MINUTES knocking on your door you just know things are going to go to shit! The only thing worse I guess might be peeking out your little dingy window and seeing none other than Detective T. Townsend, that being he is a homicide cop and you are being charged with having something to do with killing someone. ( oh no! the lawyer said dont worry….LOL, they always say that….get another retainer ready! ) Who would have ever thought of the Grand Jury…..oh well going to be writing some bigger checks to them defense attorneys!

Poor Hovik Dzhuryan, Officer Kirkpatrick and crew bagged another ‘Armo’! This has to be funny, right, you know at one point I am sure you could have been a good guy and cooperated and been a decent human being and helped the police figure out which MoFo shot and killed an innocent boy. But nooooooo you are going to be a ‘tough Armo’ and play the part, well now you can either post bail (Mo Money out the window) or maybe be nice to that ‘MoFo’ with a badge and no neck. Just ask around, I am sure most of your family must know Detective Townsend by now. (if you see Townsend eating DO NOT MAKE ANY LOUD NOISES) And that the odds are you are going to be needing another bail agent, can I suggest, Chickies Bail Bonds? Chickie will post the bail and get your useless ass out of jail….unless your bail is 3 million or 8 million. The funniest part is ‘someone’ now has to hire another F’n lawyer, LMAO, right? Lt. Hamilton and Detective Townsend should be on at least four Defense Lawyers Christmas card list….think of the money these goofy SOBs have paid to defense attorneys to make all this better. That money would have done better in stuffing it someplace tight and dark with a little ‘lube’. hell at this point when you folks come home and slip out of your ‘Armo’ slippers, by the way this is both in L.A. and Glendale, you should look around and and say hello to the team of ‘watchers’ and bring some of that ‘Armo’ coffee out to the cops and investigators who are watching you and your family members…. and could there be more to come…..hmmm I am thinking, yup!

Through months and months of hard work by Detective Townsend and Lt. Hamilton’s team of homicide cops, The Los Angeles Grand Jury has indicted Khatun ‘Kat’ Vardanyan aka ‘get me some lube’, Hovik Dzhuryan aka ‘ I was not there’-’ my phone was there, not me’ Vahagn Jurian aka ‘ the short one ‘ or by now ‘snuggles’ and Zareh Manjikian ‘ my heart goes out to the family ‘……. before I forget, a BIG THANKS for the attorney of Manjikian for putting his client on national television before turning himself in! Big Smoochies to you! And of course all of our hearts go out to you too…..

Folks, November will be the two year anniversary of the murder of Mike ‘Gombert’ Yepremyan. One has to wonder, now there will be four (4) lawyers, and now 2 bails and can it get any more costly? How can the murderers and the people responsible for Mikes murder be paying for all of this? ‘ did we hear someone yelling ‘I am going broke!’ Well if I was rep’n one of these murderers I would go for the ‘roll’ as in ‘rollover’, and for ‘Bro’ & ‘Sis’, that would be a no brainer, ‘lets make a deal’ would be my favorite new show……as I said before, as a retired cop there was no way I could believe that a system would allow pure scum to kill an innocent boy and just walk away. I was right again, the system works and ‘lady justice may get a little sick at times but she never dies’.

These people who were involved in the killing of Mike Yepremyan are looking at a whole lotta of time, and the district attorney’s office is going to be sure they get all that they got coming to them and more, time is wonderful unless you are in a state prison. Can you all remember the good O’l days when you all thought ‘ Ha!, we all got away with killing this kid ‘. Silly Armos, it brings to mind a friend of my fathers, one of the worlds most incredible singers, Connie Frances, one of her all time hits was, “ Whose Sorry Now “.

In a L. A. Times article today by Robert Faturechi;

“the indictment also named another member of the group, Lazar Petrosyan, who authorities said is being treated as a witness, not a suspect.

Authorities are planning on trying all four defendants together.

“This sends a message to everyone,” said John Nazarian, a private investigator hired by the slain teen’s family. “You can’t just kill an innocent boy and with some clever manipulation get away with it.”

Mike's parents Ani and Art Yepremyan

L. A. times Reporter Robert Faturechi stated in an article that; “A suspect in a fatal Los Angeles shooting who was captured in Puerto Rico only to flee again after being released on bail was arrested in Van Nuys on Thursday afternoon, law enforcement sources said. Zareh Manjikian is suspected of fatally shooting a 19-year-old just hours after the teen sent an insulting text message in a bizarre slaying that drew wide-scale media attention.

More than a year after the slaying, Manjikian was tracked down to a beach town outside Puerto Rico’s capital city, San Juan, where federal authorities arrested him.”

Authorities had asked Judge Gloria Maynard in Puerto Rico to hold Manjikian without bail during extradition proceedings, but she set bail at $50,000. Zareh Manjikian promptly paid the bond and fled Puerto Rico that “shocked police in Los Angeles, who have been investigating the case for more than 18 months”, and Mike Ypremyan’s parents, Ani and Art Yepremyan who could not believe that a judge had allowed Manjikian to be released on a no bond request by U. S. Marshals.

On Thursday afternoon, Manjikian was arrested by a federal fugitive task force at the courthouse in Van Nuys. The murder suspect was attempting to turn himself in, but was arrested before he could, said LAPD Det. Thomas Townsend. When Manjikian was first captured by U.S. marshals in Puerto Rico, his brother was arrested with him on unrelated charges. Authorities said that it appears Manjikian, after being released on bail, may have assumed his brother’s identity to fly from the island territory to Philadelphia, and then to Las Vegas, before coming to Los Angeles. The decision to turn himself in may have been motivated by pressure from “close associates” in Los Angeles who had come under scrutiny from police and federal agents since Manjikian fled, authorities said.

“This is what we’ve all been waiting for,” said the family’s private investigator, John Nazarian. “We’re all very pleased that the error in judgment we watched in Puerto Rico has been corrected by police here in Los Angeles.”

C.J. Lin, Staff Writer of the Contra Costa Times reported; ” The suspected gunman in the fatal 2009 shooting of a Granada Hills man was arrested Thursday, just weeks after skipping bail in Puerto Rico and evading federal authorities. Zareh Manjikian, 23, was arrested at Van Nuys Superior Court, where he had gone to surrender in the shooting death of 19-year-old Mike Yepremyan in North Hollywood.

“I wanted to surrender and straighten things out,” Manjikian told KCBS-Channel 2, which he had called to alert to his surrender. “I want people to know that I am innocent and I’m coming clean once and for all.”

“While the suspect is now safely behind bars, however, I will not relent in demanding that we get to the bottom of his shocking release by the court in Puerto Rico,” said Councilman Paul Krekorian, who has called for a federal investigation into the judge’s actions.

Manjikian is being held without bail. John Nazarian, a private investigator hired by the victim’s family, called Manjikian’s surrender “bizarre.” “The only reason why he showed up, the only reason why he turned himself in,” he said, “was because there was no place for this guy to hide.”

John J. Nazarian has an article up on Desperate Exes.com that is well worth a read on his feelings about this as well as the interview that Manjikian gave to KCBS-Channel 2 as FBI agents was arresting him.

Keith Olbermann

Never underestimate the power of talent and friends that are media savvy. After Al Gore with Keith Olbermann held a phone conference call with reporters on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 to announce the coup of getting Olbermann signed on the dotted line; the war of words began with ratings being thrown around on Wednesday February 9, 2011 in the ongoing fracas.

It appears that Comcast in their take over of that other “network” thought they had Keith Olbermann boxed in with a no-compete FOREVER provision of Olbermann’s termination package including a stipulation that NBC Universal had thought that Olbermann was down and out. The no-compete permanent clause is reported to state; “That agreement also stipulates that Olbermann cannot work for any network considered a competitor.” Current TV was not thought of a competitor and was not included. It appears that the former network thought they had confined Olbermann’s talent to just internet or radio in the future. This is a prime example of never understate real talent and that is what Olbermann has “real talent”.

NBC Universal is also giving Current TV and Olbermann better advertising then money can buy with the war of words that Al Gore seems to be basking in shooting shots back and forth between Gore and MSNBC management.

It is rumored that Olbermann will get stock in the company founded by Gore and other friends as well as “TOTAL CONTROL OF HIS OWN CONTENT”, that will not bode well for MSNBC I predict. It is not much to ask for control of one’s own content when being a news or opinion commentator in television or print media. As far back as Walter Cronkite and Tom Brokaw both insisted on that in contracts. In fact it appears that Brokaw is still having control of the content of NBC Universal and he might have just led his employer down a slippery slope since he began to gun for Olbermann and worked behind the scenes to push Olbermann out.

You know I hated Current TV when it premiered on DirecTV because it replaced the only international news channel that DirecTV had on air. I am feeling all warm and fuzzy about them today as I am sure many of you do as well.

Per the Hollywood Reporter it is reported that “In a conference call with reporters on Tuesday, Olbermann described the show as an improved, amplified and stronger version of the show that I just did at my previous network… …Olbermann said yesterday that he would address his time there at some point in the future. MSNBC had no comment.”

Current TV network has seen the real talent that Olbermann can bring personally but also as the new chief of news officer Olbermann will finally get the control to turn a network around as Tim Russert did for the cable part of NBC News during his life time. Current TV has already set up a production team to work with Olbermann before he premiers in late May on the network.

Al Gore

The Hollywood Reporter went on to report that Al Gore stated that “Among his many talents, he has an eye for what works, what doesn’t ,who would be good on his show and potentially doing other shows. We’re going to let that evolve. He’s always done that. He was more responsible than anyone else by far in making the brand of the network he most recently worked at and. before that he was more responsible than anyone else for Sports Center, the heart of heart of ESPN. So he knows how to do this.”

Al Gore and Current TV did not miss the part of Olbermann being the center tent poll for an MSNBC tent as it appears those programs in prime time begins to dwindle in audience; well all but Rachel Maddow who was mentored by Olbermann. Current Media CEO Mark Rosenthal for Current TV sees an opportunity in what he described as the white space between “scripted reality” found on networks including History and Bravo and the hard news networks including CNN, MSNBC and Fox New Channel.

The L. A. Times has reported that the war of words continue today with Al Gore ruffling the peacock feathers by saying; Current TV, which has about 60 million subscribers in the U.S per Gore who said; “We have more subscribers today than MSNBC had when Keith Olbermann began working for them in 2003”. MSNBC, whose management had clashed repeatedly with Olbermann prior to his exit, cried foul, with a spokesman citing Nielsen Co. data that shows MSNBC had 78.4 million subscribers in 2003. Alerted to the network’s claim, an Olbermann rep fired back by pointing to “The Complete Directory to Prime Time Network & Cable TV Shows, 1946-Present,” a commonly used reference book, which says that only 74% of those subscribers were in the U.S., which could conceivably give Current a slight edge. I don’t know what he’s talking about,” the MSNBC spokesman replied.” DO WHAT??? MSNBC does not know how to read the ratings directories?

I would imagine some top meetings are going on in the penthouse offices of the new Comcast control mega media presence of basically WTF and how did this happen. If Olbermann brings “only” the 300,000 people who supported him with the petition that got him back on MSNBC in 48 hours after they had tried to push him out in November 2010 it will hit MSNBC hard not to mention once the million viewers that Olbermann had find him on Current TV. Remember it was a no no for Olbermann to contribute to political campaigns but the darling of MSNBC management Joe Scarborough had a full backing for donating to Republican campaigns even though Scarborough had given more money and over a longer period of time. Al Gore addressed that during the news announcement saying he believed it was Olbermann’s right to contribute to those candidates he wanted to as long as there is full disclosure Gore stated in his opinion it was a first amendment right
.
I am having visions of Ted Turner dancing in my head like Christmas here and when the news network in the past said his cable news dream would never make it… Ah that would be CNN today.

I have weaned off of MSNBC and count on Anderson Cooper and his 360 program nightly for my news. I must admit I do still watch Maddow on late night repeats because I like what she says but by doing it this way MSNBC does not get to count the viewer ship as it is not in prime time.

We will be following this carefully with as much attention as we can give to Olbermann and Gore as I predict other blogs will do. Olbermann is not only the voice of progressives but those of us moderate independents that just want to learn and then make up our own minds. Then add that to the free clinics and the real death panels that Olbermann became the voice for and this is going to be fun folks. Gore and Olbermann, wow the 2012 political campaigns seem to be a shining new beacon for the election coverage in our home.

In other updates about Rose Speaks.com, we are changing some of the site to make it more friendly to search for downloads of paperwork on high profile trials we cover and that will be implemented this weekend we hope. However for now you can find the downloads in our Download Section. We have also updated the Michael Jackson downloads yesterday and those can be found on the Jackson page of the site.

I have been sick the last couple of weeks and I so appreciate you all reaching out personally to ask how I was doing, I am always touched that people who will never meet me still care about any turn in my health. As I was sick I watched a lot of television and have been mesmerized by the Egypt youth movement of a revolution and doing it without force but in peaceful means. I will be doing articles of my journey watching this from half a world away in a series called; “Remember my name. If I die here tonight, you will tell our story.”

Steve Cooley - Blair Berk

Los Angeles Dist. Atty. Steve Cooley said no decision had been made about whether to charge Mel Gibson in the domestic violence case involving his former girlfriend.

In a released statement today Cooley’s web site states; “Allegations of domestic violence involving Mel Gibson are actively under review by the District Attorney’s Office.

Mr. Gibson’s attorneys met yesterday with Airport Branch prosecutors and provided information they felt was relevant to the matter. Information received will be taken into account in deciding whether or not to file charges.

Any decisions made by the D.A.’s office in this case will be made public in a timely manner.”

This statement was prompted by a RadarOnline.com exclusive yesterday stating that charges could be imminent for Mel Gibson involving an allegation of domestic violence by Oksana Grigorieva and her attorneys.

Blair Berke, Gibson’s criminal attorney, met for 2 hours yesterday with Deputy District Attorney John Lynch, to try to avoid any felony or misdemeanor criminal charges being filed on her client Gibson.

The L. A. Times is reporting that L.A. County sheriff’s investigators have spent months looking into whether Gibson struck ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

Officials have said that case is closely tied to another investigation into whether someone tried to extort money from Gibson.

Sources have told the Los Angeles Times that prosecutors won’t make a decision on the case until the Sheriff’s Department has finished its inquiry into claims that Grigorieva or someone close to her attempted to extort money from Gibson.

News of the meeting Tuesday was first reported by Radar Online.com.

So a messy custody dispute is now bringing criminal investigations of extortion and domestic violence as Gibson and Grigorieva continue allegations against each other in what is becoming an increasing potential volatile custody dispute over their one year old daughter Lucia.

More lawyers are being added by both sides which brings to mind the old saying, “If you have the money, we have the time”.

Police Chief Randy Adams

“Former Bell Police Chief Randy Adams had himself declared disabled,” what did he do? “Even as he was hired for the post”, that being the Top Cop of the little town of Bell, CA, under the control of some of the most corrupt officials in the United States! At this point someone might want to check his ability to make good decisions.

Randy Adams, at one time the chief of police of Glendale, pulled a fast one here also, except it is being reported that “Da Chief” was going to go for less of a “Payola” scam and was asking for a “non-disability” when he was leaving Glendale…but “stop the presses,” he rescinded that request and went to work for the City of Bell! OH NO HE DIDN’T! Yup he did, Da Chief went to Bell and told them that he had neck and back injuries…he was found to be unfit and was hired anyway!!! Yea, for Chief Randy! I bet he had a nice comfy seat in his car, too, for those long drives to the bank.

Boy, has police worked changed or what people, how about all the veterans coming home who want a job as a cop and have some small medical issues, find Mr. Randy and see if he can give you some advice… … hire an American hero coming back from war? This could be a new career for Mr. Randy…

…Of course Da Chief Randy Adams has a lawyer now who states in the L.A. Times, “Mr. Adams wanted to make sure that the city was well aware of his physical capabilities…He made all of that clear upfront. He didn’t want the city to come back and say we didn’t know you had a bad back”. My thought: would that not have been Glendale’s problem? Oh, but this was a huge pay check and would also bump him into the higher PERS pension plan too…oh I get it chief, I get it…so does the district attorney and the attorney general of the state of California…this looks like FRAUD to me, it was a set up from the get go. The question I have is when does “MR.” Randy Adams do the perp walk, and who will slap those famous Smith and Wesson silver bracelets on? Recommendation: CHICKIES BAIL BONDS…tell them I suggested them to you.

This wizard of medical disability was earning $475,000 a year! And that would have given him about $411,0000 a year in retirement!!! WTF???? And more than $205,000 would be tax free! …It is reported that Adams was hired even with the Bell Kingpin…er, City Manager “Ratzo”…

This guy also had collected money for disability from Simi Valley, Ventura in the area of $45,000…what?????? This guy was a money machine with a badge! Oh this story gets even better, “MR” Adams also had two contracts with Rizzo, aka City of Bell: one was for Police Chief and another as “special police counsel” to Rizzo…

… “What’s disappointing is that Randy aka “Mr” Adams didn’t recognize this situation and that it was going to cast him and us in a bad light…He lost his values along the way”?

NOTE: It was also brought to our attention that not too many officers cared for him at Bell, and I understand that he was even less than loved in Glendale. Boy, what a career! We will be following up with the revenue tactics the City of Bell police department participated in to generate money for the city coffers, I have to stop as I am laughing so hard and I do have a bad back and I pay for it myself…

Ani and Art Yepremyan are still looking for answers

As Ari and Art Yepremyan still grieve and still try to come to grips with all of the questions as to why this fine young man is now dead the L. A. Times picked up Mike’s murder on page one of the paper that came out today.

The front page of the L. A. Times Article appearing today May 6, 2010 says in part; “It was the text message of their lives. In typical teenage fashion, Mike Yepremyan sent his girlfriend a text insulting one of her friends. No one realized it would leave two families and a circle of friends devastated”.

Mike Yepremyan, the only son of Ani Atajyan and Art Yepremyan, sent a text message on November 18, 2009 that ended his life in a tragedy that family and friends have yet to began to deal with…

The L. A. Times article goes on to say; “It was the kind of text message many teenagers might send. Mike Yepremyan, 19, wanted to see his girlfriend, but she was hanging out with another girl. So he sent her a pouty text with a nasty comment about her companion.

When Mike wasn’t in class at Pierce College or working as a dispatcher for a private ambulance company, he could usually be found with his closest buddies. At Los Angeles Baptist, the private high school in the San Fernando Valley where they met, they were known as the Middle Eastern kids.”

Mike’s best friends that he always hung out with was Ohan Barsamian an Armenian. Ali Hosseini a Persian, the article says they were like brothers.

In the L. A. Times recount of that day and who Mike Yepremyan was this sentence stood out to me and brought tears flowing, “For Valentine’s Day one year, Mike borrowed money from his father to buy a long-stemmed rose for each of the 150 young ladies in their high school.

The day of the murder family and friends say that Mike fighting with his girlfriend, Denielle Wegrzyn, was a rarity. “Mike worshiped her, always admiring her long blond hair. And she was learning Armenian for him. After two years of dating, she’d picked up numbers and common expressions”.

Those messages and the events that unfolded that night are described in court records and in testimony from a preliminary hearing. Ohan, Denielle and others offered further details in interviews for the The L. A. Times front page article.

”… Mike didn’t like Kat. He thought she dressed too provocatively, and he worried she might be a bad influence on his girlfriend, his friends said… …The girls were parked at a gas station in Kat’s pearl-white Infiniti when Mike’s response lit up Denielle’s iPhone, tucked in the cup holder:

“Every time u hang out with that bitch u guys get hookah. Is there something cool bout her n hookah that u enjoy so much?”

In interviews and in courtroom testimony, Denielle described what happened next:

Kat peered at the phone’s screen.

“Oh, I’m a bitch, huh?” she snapped.

…”My brother is gonna beat him up,” she said, according to Denielle’s testimony.

Kat picked up her own phone and dialed her sibling, Hovik Dzhuryan, switching to Armenian when he picked up. The words were incomprehensible to Denielle, until the end of the call. “Oot mek oot,” Kat said, according to Denielle. “818.” Denielle knew how to count in Armenian. Kat was reciting Mike’s phone number.”

Per the L. A. Times article an “alarmed, Denielle asked to be dropped off at her car, parked at Kat’s house in Van Nuys. Once home, she sent Mike a text. However, Mike’s response frightened her per Robert Faturechi L. A. Times reporter.

“…When his two friends returned they said Mike looked pale. He said Kat’s brother had called and said he wanted to fight..

The three piled into Mike’s car a Nissan Altima …They talked about how to handle the mess Mike had created. The calls to Mike’s phone continued, but the voice on the other end no longer belonged to Kat’s brother. It was deeper and more confrontational….

…Mike insisted on the Valley, where the boys already were. He picked the Sears parking lot in North Hollywood. It was well-lighted, wide open…. …The group was relieved. Half an hour had passed, and the other side had not shown. Then about 8:30 p.m., a black BMW with no front license plate pulled in.

Two young men stepped out. The driver, the shorter of the two, wore an orange hoodie. His hair was trimmed close, the same length as his beard. The passenger was taller and had a leather jacket wrapped around a wide frame.

The strangers grilled Mike. Why had he called Kat the name he did? Why had he disrespected her? Mike tried to explain.

“When you translate it, it’s a lot worse,” he said. “I didn’t mean it like that.”

The exchange seemed to be coming to a peaceful conclusion then the driver of the car …”slugged Mike in the face…. …The taller stranger intercepted him with what appeared to be a sweeping punch aimed at the back of Mike’s head. His fist was clenched inside his jacket sleeve. When he made contact, there was a boom and a shower of sparks, witnesses said.

Mike collapsed, killed by a gunshot wound to the head… …Authorities later found a single 9-millimeter shell casing beside a pool of blood on the asphalt…

…A nurse at Mission Community Hospital called Mike’s parents at 2:30 in the morning. She wanted Art Yepremyan and Ani Atajyan to come to the hospital. She wouldn’t say why. …

…Ani called Mike’s cellphone. Then she tried Ohan’s. A police officer answered. “You have to go to the hospital,” he said.

That’s when they knew….

…Authorities say the driver of the BMW was Vahagn Jurian, 22, of Van Nuys, described in courtroom testimony as Kat’s cousin. Jurian is believed to have fled to Armenia, which does not have an extradition treaty with the U.S. The district attorney’s office has charged him with being an accessory after the fact to the killing.

Kat, now 21, was arrested and charged with murder and conspiracy to commit assault. …Prosecutors did not charge her brother, however, citing a lack of evidence.

The day of the arraignment for Kat the L. A. Times article states; “…The courtroom was packed, the atmosphere tense. Friends and relatives of Mike filled one half of the room; Kat’s family and friends crowded the other side. A line of bailiffs stood between them.

….At the close of the hearing, Superior Court Judge Karen Nudell dismissed the murder charge against Kat, but ordered her to stand trial on the conspiracy count. …When the judge dismissed the murder charge, Mike’s mother wailed…

Sitting in his office being interviewed by Robert Faturechi L. a. Times writer Art Yepremyan …”pointed out a plaque Mike had given him, commemorating a star for which the teenager had paid to name after his father. Art says he steps out of his Granada Hills home some nights and looks up in the star’s direction.”

This is a four page article that begins on the front page of the L. A. Times, have tissues ready, it takes up four pages in the online edition of the paper which came out today. This article is so well written I think it will be picked up internationally and perhaps even be a segment on one of the shows at one of the main stream media special editions. Rose speaks.com is attempting to contact John J. Nazarian of Desperate Exes.com for his take on this well written article.
