HLN’s Vinnie Politan talks to alternate juror in the Casey Anthony trial, Russell Huekler, who offered insight on the reasoning behind yesterday’s ‘not guilty’ verdict and what the thought process behind it. Huekler said that he, “agrees with the jury’s decision wholeheartedly,” and added that, “the prosecution didn’t prove its case.”
He added that he believes that Caylee’s death was a, “horrific accident that the dad and Casey covered up and, unfortunately, it did snowball and it got away from them.”
In my opinion the state WAY overcharged Casey Anthony and I agree both Casey and George should have been charged with covering up an accident and deposing of a body. The verdict shows me that we are still a nation of laws and “BEYOND a REASONABLE DOUBT”, and that we have moved past the mentality of guilty by lynch mob. I do worry about what will happen to Casey Anthony when she leaves jail and will some group be so hype by Nancy Grace that they go out and do something stupid. Casey Anthony needs time and space to began her own healing. For once our jury system worked and that makes me proud to be an American today.

CASEY ANTHONY NOT GUILTY ON ALL CHARGES EXCEPT LYING TO THE LAW ENFORCEMENT WHICH THE THREE YEARS SERVED IS ABOUT THE MAXIMUM ON THAT. WHY I THINK THE JURY WENT THAT WAY, JEFF ASHTON WAS AN ASS, KRONK LIED AND THE DA TRIED THIS CASE FOR THREE YEARS IN THE PUBLIC ARENA TRYING TO POISON ANY JURY POOL.
One of the things that continues to bug me is that we are one of the last “civilized” country that is as blood thirsty as say the Muslim Countries we so disagree with. I have always wondered why and then add to that the two states that are the most death penalty states is Florida and Texas. I am just not very proud of that. In Louisiana I remember a man convicted of killing a child and the parents wanted to make a victim statement. The court refused to allow that. Why? Because they wanted to plea for the life NOT to be taken of the man that murdered their little girl and the D. A. DID NOT want to jury to be swayed by “those” victims. The judge ruled for the D. A. and the jury never heard from the parents of the dead little girl.
A trial is NOT about seeking the truth it is ABOUT winning, another notch in the D. A. belt they hope or for a defense attorney if they win. The seeking the truth is the investigation which in this case went terribly wrong. Roy Kronk’s lies was dismissed by Jeff Ashton as “a long tale”, reminded me of those fish stories of the one that got away, but Kronk LIED, does not matter how you fluff that off he was LYING. Let’ all remember Nancy Grace NEVER lost a case, but was still having cases overturned for her misconduct after she had moved on to television. In fact one of the last cases she had overturned in Georgia the appellate court said if she had not already let her license to practice law expired they would have recommended disbarring her, that is all about winning with no thought to truth and I found that very much alive in Jeff Ashton.
George Anthony lied and went behind his family’s back and TRIED to get the fingers all pointed to Casey, what kind of a father does not, my would have never done that, he would have told the truth, but what kind of a monster TRIES to get his daughter killed??? Why did Geroge have more than one cell phone but hid that from the police? What might it have told us? Why did the D. A. fight the defense to get any cell phone records? By the way I think the defense should have called a suicide expert, if they had what would they have said. Well in 99% of cases, MEN right a note and then commit suicide, George called EVERYONE to make sure he was found, that is guilt, a cry for help with mental conditions at the best, and a narcissistic at the worse that wanted the attention on him, the money paid for an interview would have shot up wouldn’t it. I could go on but I think you get what I mean.
Now one of our contributors has broken down the opening arguments into five videos. We are going to feature two a day because I really don’t expect the jury to come back today. After watching the whole trial, I came away with more questions then answers, I wonder how the jury feels, however don’t ever underestimate our blood thirsty citizenship, reminds me of some throw back to distant relatives.

I think most of you will be on verdic watch via HLN (Headline News a sister station of CNN), or at least Rose Speaks will be on verdict watch via HLN. I saw this article and I believe that George Anthony DID have an affair with Krystal Holloway.
Yesterday, June 30, 2011, HLN’s Vinnie Politan sat down for an exclusive interview with Krystal Holloway, the alleged mistress of George Anthony, after she took the witness stand in court! In this emotional interview, Krystal expressed her remorse for having an affair with a married man, but also her frustration that George will not take any responsibility for his actions by denying it ever happened. She has also claimed that George confessed to her that Caylee’s death was an accident that “snowballed” out of control. Politan digs deeper to try to determine if she’s telling the truth.
Krystal, visibly upset and on the verge of tears, said:
“I know what I did was wrong. I have paid for it in a years time. And now it’s like I’m paying for it again. I know I lied, I know I slept with a married man, it doesn’t justify what I did. But he’s gotta take some responsibility too, and he’s not. Everybody is making him out to seem like he’s so innocent. If he was innocent why is he at my house? Four, three days later, why are you texting me this? You’re supposed to be in mourning. The prosecution has all the other texts they never released.”

Ok I am not sure how we lost the whole article but we did, so here is a recreation or attempt to recreate it.
Did George Anthony lie any today or his he the victim? Was today a total loss for the defense as I saw it or do you think it was not and if you don’t think it ws a loss o the the defense why? What do you think is going to happen tomorrow? Did Roy Kronk’s son totally discredit Kronk? And where was the skull in August those three days and how did he pick it up with his meter reader stick and why did it not look disturbed when detective Yuri Melich arrived?

So many questions I would want to ask Roy Kronk but with the State of Florida paying $225.00 an hour for just Kronk’s lawyer, I feel we will be left with more questions then answers after his testimony.
I would ask why is the state paying all of his legal fees for this case? I would ask if he found the remains on 3 straight days in August 2008 and the police blew him off, why not write to the Anthony family or better yet going to the media in Florida? What was it about Roy Kronk that made Yuri Melich tell the deputy that area had already been searched so don’t do it again? So many questions and I fear we will get no answers.
Can Casey Anthony’s inept lawyer get over the humps and bear traps set by the D. A. and get the reasonable doubt about Kronk and moving he body they need at this point?

For those of you who watch Dr. Drew on HLN on week nights at 9 PM EDT/8 PM CDT here is an interesting interview you might have watched.
In a very interesting interview last week, Dr. Drew spoke to Melissa Moore, who says she has studied the similarities between Casey Anthony and her father, known as the “Happy Face Killer” who brutally murdered at least eight women. Melissa discussed her intuition as a child and knowing that something was wrong, especially when she witnessed him taking pleasure in torturing and killing her animals. Dr. Drew and experts asked her what it’s like to find out that someone you love has done awful and evil things.
Judge Penny Brown-Reynolds, a former Georgia State Court Judge, related Melissa’s intuition to the Casey Anthony case:
“Although in Melissa’s case, she was a child and didn’t quite understand, I suspect that George and Cindy Anthony will look back on this and think about that it was more than just lies. That deep down, in their deepest part of themselves they knew that something just wasn’t right with their daughter as it related to their granddaughter.”
Melissa explained the comparison to her father while looking at the video of Casey crying in court:
“My gut tells me she’s guilty…I think what we’re seeing right now is just a mirror, what she wants to project to us…[My father] would mirror what other people would do. He would kind of investigate, what is the normal response for this kind of situation, and then give that response.”
How do you feel about this statement? Is Melissa’s intuition about Casey correct or is just throwing it out there since she does not know Casey Anthony? Who is or was the “Happy Face Serial Killer”?

Cindy Anthony appears to now be testifying in a way that helps the defense. She leaves room in her deposition to be able to clarify things on the stand now. I agree with In Sessions today about Linda Drane Burdick was snarky to bring up the “since you have changed your meds, in 2009, no need for that BS. I also think Ashton needs to stop slamming things down in front of witnesses and changing from a Dr. Jekyll and Hyde with witnesses I am sure he has a great insurance and therapists on call to help deal with the meltdowns and anger he displays when things don’t go his way.
Ok new documents I stayed up last night to get this done for you. There are thousands of pages of documents and I have to scan each batch to pull out those being used during the trial and not clutter the article with those dumped into the public domain by the D. A. that will not be used in the case.
I will continue to put up more throughout today, the problem I am running into is that in ten of thousands pages is that there are a lot of duplicates almost as if the D. A. hopes you get so tired of seeing duplicates over and over again you stop going through it. However, that said more we will be uploading for you to read throughout today so keep checking back.
