Lt Mark G Stainbrook and Robert Jakucs

As Ken and I sat here today watching football and which fires are close, how close and which way the wind is blowing, it is good to remember we are OK for now. I have shed tears all day today watching the 9-11 Tribute Shows. Like all of you I can remember exactly where I was at and what I was doing at that very moment. So yes the well is dry, the Texas drought, the worse one in regarded history since 1895 and no rain in sight. It would be easy to feel sorry for myself right now, but then you think about 9-11 and you know all is right for today.

I wandered over to John J. Nazarian’s sites to see if I could borrow something before I make myself began to load all of the papers we can find for Dr. Conrad Murray’s trial as jury selection begins tomorrow. I found a must listen to show on Nazarian’s new site Straight Talk with John J. Nazarian.

I have borrowed it in it’s entirety because to listen to two U. S. Marine Officers involved in before 9-11 and after 9-11 including being called up and reactivated for the invasion of Iraq in 2003 I think they will have a very different view then John’s of let’s just nuke them. I suggest you tune in as well at 6 PM PDT, 7PM MDT, 8PM CDT and 9PM EDT.

Remembering 9-11 ten years later Straight Talk with John J. Nazarian and his guests Lt. Mark G. Stainbrook and Robert Jakucs Col. Ret. U.S.M.C. at 6PM PDT and 9PM EDT on live Radio at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/john-j-nazarian.

John’s guests are Lt. Mark G. Stainbrook who is a 16-year veteran of the L.A.P.D. and currently serves as the Officer-in-Charge of the Anti-Terrorism Intelligence Section. Mark is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and while serving in Iraq in April 2003 was tasked to reconstitute Iraqi police units in Baghdad. On 9-11 2011 Mark’s father was stationed at the Pentagon as a Navy Captain. Mark did not know if his father had survived the day until the end of that day. Mark’s father suffered from smoke inhalation from helping people out of the Pentagon. Lt. Col. Stainbrook has been extensively interviewed and quoted during Operation Iraqi Freedom by CNN, Good Morning America, and the BBC and has received numerous distinguished awards. Mark has dedicated his life and work to counter-terrorism and working with Muslim Communities.

John’s other guest will be Robert Jakucs Col. Ret. U.S.M.C. He is also a retired Homicide Det. L.A.P.D. Col Jakucs has served in three wars and was reactivated in 2003. His feelings about 9-11 are; “When I watched what happened on 9-11, I wanted to avenge the deaths of all those innocent people who died there at the Twin Towers that terrible day. When I went to war in Iraq in 2003, I felt they were walking in the footsteps of me and my Marines every step of the way.”

Both guests have insight into 9-11, both served as U. S Marine Officers after 9-11. You won’t have another chance to hear from two of America’s best with a Military insight as to 9-11 and life after 9-11.

Telephone lines will be open during the show at 818-572-8030 long distance charges apply or you can call using your Skype account form anywhere including internationally; so feel free to call and share with us or to say thank you to John’s guests.

Maitre D Brian Ellis or Lurch

This story is nothing a good Cat D-9 could not fix (that is a real big bulldozer). One of my friends lost a companion of hers recently and wanted to return to the Ingleside Inn in Palm Springs for “old time’s sake” (I have stayed at the Ingleside Inn a few times in the past, and I had a nice time, it was easy and it was old then, now…it is much older). Well she had told her teenage son of all the great meals and times she and his dad had at Melvyn’s, the restaurant that is built into the motel. Now keep in mind Ms. E is very wealthy and could stay any place she chose, but she books three rooms here because she wanted to go down memory lane…except there was a “bump” in the road: an old a**hole called Brian Ellis.

She makes a reservation and we arrive, but here we encounter Mr. Ellis. He has been the Maitre D’ and manager for over 20 years and he and his ill fitting tux need a review. He looks at me, I am wearing a pair of very nice shorts and matching silk t-shirt, Ms. E is dressed to the nines and the two boys are dressed very well. Remember it is the desert and it is hot! And Ms. E is a guest of the motel! This pompous a**hole tells me “you need a collar” and my birkenstocks are not going to work either, the two boys likewise. Now keep in mind it is over 100 degrees out, but a**wipe wants us to go get dressed to eat in Melvyn’s. The place is so dark that you could just as well sit in a speedo and I don’t think you would be noticed. Also we were dressed very nicely and it was only 6:30 P.M.

So Brian Ellis throws us out of Melvyn’s. Let me just say this: Ms. E wanted to try and go back in time to a place that she once enjoyed and to show her son where his now deceased dad and she spent many glorious evenings. And Maitre D Ellis killed it. And talk about killing folks, this place has a musty stench permeating the place, like the huge list of famous people they promote who have stayed there are now buried under the place, it has that “old lady” smell, for that matter so did Mr. Ellis, go figure. No one dares spray any insect killer in and around the outside of the building for fear of a major collapse it would cause in the event the termites holding hands would all die and the walls would fall down.

This archaic rat trap sits off of Ramon Road…..people do yourself a favor and drive by, go visit a real mortuary…it will smell better. A good dust storm could just as well put this place and Melvyn’s out of its misery. This would even be better as an empty lot, I swear. My other thought is that it would not be bad place for a mortuary as many of the rooms look more like reposing rooms. ….and Ellis could lead with a candle and that tacky suit he poses in.
And this would give Mr. Ellis something to do, you know, work as an assistant in the mortuary, not much different from what he does now. He could make sure the lady’s hair is in place and be sure the men’s zippers are up. Sure, Mr. Ellis, I understand when you get out of your two room apartment you must feel like a king standing at your little podium and telling people who can enter your dark and damp little hole in the wall…..just keep thinking “I see dead people.”

Anthony Pellicano gone but forgotten - more lawsuits to come

Yesterday it was almost like old times at the Roybal Federal building in Los Angeles, after the weeks that I spent covering the Anthony Pellicano Trial. As I walked in who should I run into but Leslie Abramson, lawyer extraordinaire. Too bad for all of you bad guys in need of a good attorney to bail your sorry asses out, but Leslie is going to be taking a very long break. Her appearance this morning before Judge Dale Fischer will be her last, she is done and did not seem unhappy in her proclamation! I wish her well, it was a privilege to have watched her at different times during her career. She is one of the female legends in the practice of law, she was never known for taking anyone’s BS, a tough cookie when having a tough cookie is a good thing.

Well, George Kalta was in front of Judge Fischer for his sentencing for hiring The Pelican to wiretap a woman accusing him of assault. He has been waiting for what must seem like years to him and his family. He was dressed in his usual very large black suit, it looked even larger as he has lost a little weight. …

….His lawyer asked if he could sit down, and Judge Fischer offered but George said he would rather stand. Well in the end George Kalta got a $100 fine, a $5,000 fine and 3 years probation. And the Judge took notice of his ill health and waived the “Cal Trans” trash pick up…. … Guilty! but he will walk…..

We at DesperateExes.com wish Ms. Abramson all the best in her days and years to come in retirement.

School for Private Investigators or School for Clowns

Recently I was asked by an aspiring young lady what I thought about Private Investigation “Schools and or Academies.” You know, like the ones you see on television that with a government grant you can go to these “colleges or universities” and get a credential to scrape teeth or shoe a horse or become a security guard or even become a private investigator.

Well, after several seconds of serious thought I stated that she would be just as well advised to enroll in “Clown College.” Yes, I felt that at least after graduating from clown school she could support herself. For even after attending an extensive “private investigator training” she would have to find some agency that would give her employment and then accumulate the thousands of hours to be able to take a test to become a ticket-carrying P.I. (and many of those that will hire you will not pay much above minimum wage, making it a tough three or four years financially while getting those hours). Again, this is my opinion.

Now I have certainly been entertained by P.I.s who without a doubt were natural clowns and had never attended a minute of clown college, except in how they conducted themselves in public. They even dressed the part, too! …

…..It is too bad that many people trying to get into the “racket” of private investigations are not fully aware of the many pitfalls the game has. …however, if you have to earn the “Benjamins” and keep the doors open every month, now that is a whole different story. Now, I also suggested that she might want to attend classes at the Magic Castle as knowing the game of smoke and mirrors is critical when dealing with other private investigators. And another important area is the “strut” — yes sirree, you will need to strut and tell bullshit stories on all the money you make working with the rich and famous…LMAO….

…So in closing having a good degree in clowndom and secret handshake from the Castle and a whole lot of luck she might make it! And again this is all from my personal perspective and handful of guys we have worked with over the last 18 years. It is true that I speak from my experience having been in this racket a very long time. It is also very true that I had a great teacher in my early days, Hal Lipset. Hal was one of the greatest P.I.’s that ever lived and he gave me some great tips that I still use to this very day. His son, Lou, I understand now runs the service…Lou is a former Deputy D.A., always well-dressed as was his dad….and the mansion in Pacific Heights, Hal always did it well.

Hollywood Madam Michelle Braun Mug Shot

In the latest filings in the Hollywood Madam scandal in California, Michelle Braun violated her conditions of bond and was arrested by U. S. Marshalls and will be returned from Florida to California for a hearing on June 19 at 10 A. M. for a change in plea from not guilty to guilty.

Hollywood Madam, Michelle Braun, might have just messed up any plea agreement she had with the federal government. On May 26, 2009 the Pre-Sentence Agency asked the Court in California to issue an arrest warrant for Braun in Florida for failing to keep the terms of her bond release. Ms. Braun is alleged to have not kept any appointments with the PSA as required for continued release on $20k bond pending her change in plea and the nice plea agreement she had made with the feds.

The June 2, 2009 Detention Order for Hollywood Madam, Michelle Braun following a hearing in Florida is a must read, it outlines where she was found after a hearing to have violated the terms of her bond. She was remanded to U. S. Marshalls to be held until extradited back to California to enter her changed “plea”.

It would appear also from the document that the Hollywood Madam is in jail and pregnant, not a good place to find oneself.

Her cooperation with the U. S. government was supposed to bring in some of the biggest names in Hollyweird, Florida, New York and even foreign dignitaries in far off places like Dubai. Ms. Braun allegedly dealt with ex-playboy playmates and the cream la crop of some of the most beautiful women in America, for any taste her clients might have. These gorgeous women were transported from California to New York and beyond at a price of $5,000k per night and sometimes up to $50k for a weekend of “delights”.

Ms. Braun had replaced the previous Hollywood Madam, Heidi Fleiss, after Ms. Fleiss had gone to jail to not give up her little black book of top end clients. These days that type of loyalty is no longer and Ms. Braun is reported to have cooperated with the U. S. government including turning over and validating her computerized version of the little black book.

Everyone in Hollyweird was braced for a scandal like none seen since the arrest of Ms. Fleiss. Braun is rumored to have made a sweet deal with the government by turning federal witness naming some of the biggest whose who in the land; she only catered to the rich and powerful. The deal allegedly was that she would sing like a love dove and in return would lose very little of her riches received in her business and none of her three homes. Part of the plea agreement was that she would only forfeit a minimum compared to other convictions, like the Washington D. C. Madam, Deborah Palfrey whose Estate is still tangled up in court after she chose trial over handing over her black book, following her convictions she as you might remembered committed suicide.

We will have to wait until June 19 to see how costly the arrest for violation of bond of the newest Hollywood Madam to be busted. Will her violations now send her to jail instead of the house arrest she was supposed to get? Will she continue to cooperate with the government or has she already told all she knows? Will there be more arrests and can we expect some hot steamy aftermath with a clientele of the very rich and famous named?

We turned to super Hollywood P. I. John J. Nazarian to see if he knew Michelle Braun, he stated he had at one time been retained by one or more parties in this latest Hollyweird scandal, he however refused to tell us who his client(s) might have been or was now so could only give us the following on the record statement:

“I have always found Michelle to be articulate and great business woman, she tried to play by the rules and she paid her taxes, and attempted to raise her family, in the best way that she could. Some of this is little of nonsense in the fact that she is provided a service that hundreds and hundreds of people were happy to pay for. I have known her for quite a while and wish her all of the best and knowing Michelle she will eventually land on her feet and I wish her well.”

~~John J. Nazarian, Private Investigator – Security Consultant ~~ June 13, 2009

At least Ms. Braun did pay her taxes which might be why she was offered a sweetheart deal of money and property to keep by the U. S. Prosecutors, we will just have to wait and see how all of this plays out now.

Pick up the latest filings on this case open to All not just members of Rose Speaks.com like all of our cases and then come back and share your thoughts. Will the newest Hollywood Madam bring down a lot of powerful people, or will she fade into the night not to be heard of again after June 19?

John J. Nazarian and Charlee on the case

After Courtney Love was sued for over $350k by American Express, she retained John J. Nazarian with her attorney Keith Fink stating to Reuters that; “I retained one of the country’s best private investigators, John Nazarian”. Mr. Fink goes on to say that John J. Nazarian and Nazarian and Associates “looked at the alleged charges and corroborated they were fraudulent.”

Courtney Love it appears is ready to get the LAPD involved and it looks like John J. Nazarian has completed an extensive investigation where he found “a great deal of identity theft, as well as misuse of Love’s card by employees and associates,’ Nazarian also confirmed that he planned to get the police involved soon.

Now did any of us here at Rose Speaks.com ever doubt that John J. Nazarian was not only the top U. S. Private Investigator but also one of the best P. I.’s in the world?

We contacted Mr. Nazarian today after the google alerts continued to pour into our in-box about the trust that Ms. Love has in John J. Nazarian’s ability to unravel this mess for the U. S. District federal court in Los Angeles; Mr. Nazarian why was Rose Speaks.com one of the last sites to ask, hey give us a quote?

Mr. Nazarian did reply with a written statement stating: “Nazarian and Associates is looking into this matter on behalf of our client and will be speaking with detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department in the coming days. The issues concerning this matter are serious and I am sure that ‘people and answers’ will be found.
John J. Nazarian, Private Investigator / Security Consultant”

Our only other question is Charlee on the job and sniffing for evedince with Mr. Nazarian?

Mel Gibson and Oksanas

Well if Mel Gibson thought that he and his soon to be Ex were going to have an “easy” divorce, heads up. With all of these Russian beauties showing up and, as I predicted, getting into the whole media craze…guess what, Robyn is reading this stuff too.

Mel has done more for the name “Oksana” than any hard-partying poptart gold medal skater. I understand that Moonshadows may be adding a Russian Tea Room to keep “his holiness” coming back! It was reported on PopEater that one of the Oksanas is as good on the piano as Sir Elton…she just is equipped a little better, I mean differently. Say what you will, Mr. Gibson has a great eye for females, including wife Robyn — a great-looking gal — and what they say about people with tons of money? “Cannot buy class.” Mr. Gibson, as I once told MJ’s handlers, with your money you could have flown to a far away place and not have had to taken a crap so close to were you live.

He is still a decent actor and as I said before, he will still be very rich in the end, as will Robyn and both lawyers and even maybe one or two P.I.s. The Russian influence in the United States has been substantial, the quality of the female company that a guy can buy has improved 10 fold and the vodka too has changed in a way who would have ever thought. Many of these Russian girls are very attractive and that cute little accent, I am here to tell you, has been an issue in several divorces…Russian vodka was a problem in many marriages for many years, I am wondering if perhaps some households may be longing for the “good ol’ days” of the Cold War when US-Russian relations weren’t quite so friendly.

To read more of the delightful views of Mr. Nazarian visit his site, it is well worth the visit:
