Joy Behar had Dr. Phil on last night, September, 12, 2011, to discuss his interview which part one was today. Joy Behar show comes on at 10 PM EDT on HLN!
Just as we thought the Casey Anthony coverage had died down, here is the latest from this horrific missing persons case. The Joy Behar Show had Dr. Phil discusses his interview with George and Cindy Anthony. Dr. Phil’s interview with the Anthonys will be the first one they’ve done since Casey’s murder trial! I watched part 1 today and talk about softball questions and Dr. Phil thinks Casey Anthony is Satan incarnate made me glad I still have a remote to change channels. Nothing was new except the amount George gamble away over $30,000 in just a few months, was kicked out by Cindy for abut 6 or 7 months after Caylee was born, right before Christmas 2007, and Casey begged her mom not to take George back. Dr. Phil which appears willing to slap his decree on anything never mentioned the jury felt George was lying, like about the girlfriend in 2008. Perhaps he will get past the being nice and saying Cindy hides from the truth and George knew who killed Caylee, we shall see.
Last night Joy sat down with Dr. Phil to discuss his highly-anticipated, remember numbers sell ads, 3-part interview with George and Cindy Anthony! In the interview, Dr. Phil shared a sneak peek of the interview, and gave his take on the discussion he had with Casey Anthony’s parents. In the Anthony interview, Dr. Phil tried to get to the bottom of whether or not the Anthonys knew what really happened to poor Caylee. He specifically addressed Cindy Anthony’s suggestion that Casey may have a brain tumor, which, in Cindy’s eyes, explains how Casey went from having a “normal” childhood to admitting to burying Caylee’s body in the woods. Did anyone on the witness stand ever say and prove it was Casey? I remember thinking I cam away with more questions then answers.
Dr. Phil analyzed Cindy Anthony’s “brain tumor” explanation to which there is no medical proof, saying:
“I think she is desperate to reconcile within herself how her daughter could do these things or this thing. Because she’s saying, ‘My daughter couldn’t do that. She was a loving mother, she was an attentive mother. This is so out of left field for her, something had to make her do that.’”

Last night, July 13 2011, Dr. Drew was joined by Harry Krop, a forensic psychologist who actually evaluated Casey Anthony and spent 20 hours with her. In a somewhat shocking interview, Krop came to Casey’s defense by saying that she has no diagnosable mental illnesses, and that he believes the public has only seen one side of her.
Krop said of his evaluation of Casey Anthony:
“I understand how that’s difficult both for you as well as the public to believe that she doesn’t have an Axis II disorder. I’ve seen on your show as well as some of the other shows on your network, individuals coming on and making references to her as either a psychopath or a sociopath. One of the reasons that Casey authorized me to go public with the results of my evaluation was because she wanted it known, both the good and the bad of Casey, but, um, I think that Casey feels that, and for obvious reasons, that the public that has really only seen part of who Casey Anthony really is.”
Krop also said that she doesn’t even have “borderline” sociopathic traits, to which Dr. Drew exclaimed, “that’s impossible!”
Krop responded:
“She’s an intelligent woman, but basically an extremely immature woman.”

Last night, Casey’s ex fiance Jesse Grund talked to Dr. Drew to discuss the real Casey Anthony and his relationship with the Anthony family. In an attempt to gain insight into Casey’s lying behavior, Dr. Drew digs deeper with Jesse and his father look back and describe how Casey and Jesse met, how she interacted with the Grund family, and the way she has appeared to have changed.
Richard Grund, Jesse’s father said:
“I can see why everybody falls in love with Casey, but the more you’re around her, the more you begin to see a pattern of exaggeration, of things not lining up, and you kind of just slough it off, she’s immature, she’s young. Obviously there’s some kind of a self-worth issue because she needs to fit in badly. But I’ve listened to three years of the lynch mob mentality, ‘she’s a monster, she’s a monster’ — she’s not. She’s a person and there’s something wrong, and somebody didn’t love her enough to do something about it.”
Jesse Grund explained his shocked reaction to Casey’s ‘not guilty’ verdict:
“I can’t even wrap my head around what happened here and I’ve known Casey for years. Well, the old Casey, not necessarily the one that’s been sitting in court and smiling and laughing while her murder trial’s been going on. But the old Casey that I knew, I wouldn’t have been shocked by this verdict. However, this person as she stands today, I know little about the way she ticks.”

Last night, July 6, 2011, in an exclusive prime time interview, Dr. Drew spoke with to the man whose job it was to prove that Casey was guilty — prosecuting attorney Jeff Ashton. Casey Anthony has been acquitted of murder, but so many questions remain. How did this happen? What if Casey had taken the stand? What if there was a different jury? Do George and Cindy know more than they revealed? Dr. Drew got Jeff Ashton’s take on all of this.
In response to Dr. Drew asking if he thought the verdict would have turned out differently if the state had the opportunity to cross-examine Casey, Ashton said: “If what I’m understanding from those few hints we’ve gotten from the jury, probably not. Because it sounds like their decision was based simply on the state’s case. And I don’t know if she would have said anything that would have changed that.”
When Dr. Drew asked if the jury really saw the picture of Casey’s “unsavory” and “problematic” behavior, Ashton answered: “If they didn’t see it, it was because they didn’t feel it was important…[The jury] got as much information as they could about her behavior. And I credit the defense with doing a good job in trying to make it look like mental illness without saying so, because they couldn’t. There was no mental health defense asserted so they really couldn’t argue that…but it was good.”

HLN’s Vinnie Politan talks to alternate juror in the Casey Anthony trial, Russell Huekler, who offered insight on the reasoning behind yesterday’s ‘not guilty’ verdict and what the thought process behind it. Huekler said that he, “agrees with the jury’s decision wholeheartedly,” and added that, “the prosecution didn’t prove its case.”
He added that he believes that Caylee’s death was a, “horrific accident that the dad and Casey covered up and, unfortunately, it did snowball and it got away from them.”
In my opinion the state WAY overcharged Casey Anthony and I agree both Casey and George should have been charged with covering up an accident and deposing of a body. The verdict shows me that we are still a nation of laws and “BEYOND a REASONABLE DOUBT”, and that we have moved past the mentality of guilty by lynch mob. I do worry about what will happen to Casey Anthony when she leaves jail and will some group be so hype by Nancy Grace that they go out and do something stupid. Casey Anthony needs time and space to began her own healing. For once our jury system worked and that makes me proud to be an American today.

CASEY ANTHONY NOT GUILTY ON ALL CHARGES EXCEPT LYING TO THE LAW ENFORCEMENT WHICH THE THREE YEARS SERVED IS ABOUT THE MAXIMUM ON THAT. WHY I THINK THE JURY WENT THAT WAY, JEFF ASHTON WAS AN ASS, KRONK LIED AND THE DA TRIED THIS CASE FOR THREE YEARS IN THE PUBLIC ARENA TRYING TO POISON ANY JURY POOL.
One of the things that continues to bug me is that we are one of the last “civilized” country that is as blood thirsty as say the Muslim Countries we so disagree with. I have always wondered why and then add to that the two states that are the most death penalty states is Florida and Texas. I am just not very proud of that. In Louisiana I remember a man convicted of killing a child and the parents wanted to make a victim statement. The court refused to allow that. Why? Because they wanted to plea for the life NOT to be taken of the man that murdered their little girl and the D. A. DID NOT want to jury to be swayed by “those” victims. The judge ruled for the D. A. and the jury never heard from the parents of the dead little girl.
A trial is NOT about seeking the truth it is ABOUT winning, another notch in the D. A. belt they hope or for a defense attorney if they win. The seeking the truth is the investigation which in this case went terribly wrong. Roy Kronk’s lies was dismissed by Jeff Ashton as “a long tale”, reminded me of those fish stories of the one that got away, but Kronk LIED, does not matter how you fluff that off he was LYING. Let’ all remember Nancy Grace NEVER lost a case, but was still having cases overturned for her misconduct after she had moved on to television. In fact one of the last cases she had overturned in Georgia the appellate court said if she had not already let her license to practice law expired they would have recommended disbarring her, that is all about winning with no thought to truth and I found that very much alive in Jeff Ashton.
George Anthony lied and went behind his family’s back and TRIED to get the fingers all pointed to Casey, what kind of a father does not, my would have never done that, he would have told the truth, but what kind of a monster TRIES to get his daughter killed??? Why did Geroge have more than one cell phone but hid that from the police? What might it have told us? Why did the D. A. fight the defense to get any cell phone records? By the way I think the defense should have called a suicide expert, if they had what would they have said. Well in 99% of cases, MEN right a note and then commit suicide, George called EVERYONE to make sure he was found, that is guilt, a cry for help with mental conditions at the best, and a narcissistic at the worse that wanted the attention on him, the money paid for an interview would have shot up wouldn’t it. I could go on but I think you get what I mean.
Now one of our contributors has broken down the opening arguments into five videos. We are going to feature two a day because I really don’t expect the jury to come back today. After watching the whole trial, I came away with more questions then answers, I wonder how the jury feels, however don’t ever underestimate our blood thirsty citizenship, reminds me of some throw back to distant relatives.

I think most of you will be on verdic watch via HLN (Headline News a sister station of CNN), or at least Rose Speaks will be on verdict watch via HLN. I saw this article and I believe that George Anthony DID have an affair with Krystal Holloway.
Yesterday, June 30, 2011, HLN’s Vinnie Politan sat down for an exclusive interview with Krystal Holloway, the alleged mistress of George Anthony, after she took the witness stand in court! In this emotional interview, Krystal expressed her remorse for having an affair with a married man, but also her frustration that George will not take any responsibility for his actions by denying it ever happened. She has also claimed that George confessed to her that Caylee’s death was an accident that “snowballed” out of control. Politan digs deeper to try to determine if she’s telling the truth.
Krystal, visibly upset and on the verge of tears, said:
“I know what I did was wrong. I have paid for it in a years time. And now it’s like I’m paying for it again. I know I lied, I know I slept with a married man, it doesn’t justify what I did. But he’s gotta take some responsibility too, and he’s not. Everybody is making him out to seem like he’s so innocent. If he was innocent why is he at my house? Four, three days later, why are you texting me this? You’re supposed to be in mourning. The prosecution has all the other texts they never released.”
