Straight Talk with Celebrity P. I. John J. Nazarian’s guests tonight at 7 PM PST – 10 PM PST are Attorney Jeffrey Sklan and forensic psychologist Dr. Glenn Lipson.

Hollywood divorce & criminal lawyer, Jeffrey Sklan termed the saying; “SUDDEN INCOME DEFICIT SYNDROME”. Sklan is also a criminal attorney and often in a divorce suit he will have lawyers refer clients to him because of allegations of domestic violence.
John Nazarian specializes in assets that seem to disappear right before a divorce or during the divorce.

Dr. Lipson is Program Director as well as Associate Professor of the Forensic Psychology Program at Alliant International University, San Diego Campus. A Diplomate in forensic psychology he has evaluated victims, perpetrators and has been retained in suits involving clergy, youth organization and internet exploitation. He has appeared in an Expert capacity on local media outlets, Court TV/Sessions and the Verdict with Paula Todd. Dr. Lipson has worked with HBO and the Discovery channel. As a Diplomate in Forensic Psychology he has testified in homicide, sexual assault and other high profile cases.
Dr. Lipson is often called in to conduct tests and interviews to produce a forensic psychological report of the court.
The subject tonight is the high profile divorces of the rich, famous and powerful. Between the three of these men for one hour of their combined time would cost over $2,000.00.
All three of them also operate in the world of domestic violence. Sklan often has other divorce attorneys refer clients to him involving allegations of domestic violence, to prove it or to defend the charges. John provides security & investigative services to prove or defend charges. John also at times goes along for a “supervised visit involving court appointed monitors”, to assess if they are remaining neutral in the process.
This is your chance to ask this group of experts the questions you have. Is the domestic violence allegations true, or are they an attempt to manipulate a court for an upper hand in the proceedings?
From now until tonight at 6 PM PST you will be able to ask questions you want answer on three websites, here by sending an email to John, Desperate Exes.com & Rose Speaks.com by leaving comments or sending emails to either site or you can call in during the show to ask these questions.
You get them free ONLY for tonight to submit your questions or to call in.
Join us tonight for this top panel of experts and call in and be part of the discussion. Comment telephone lines are always open to call in throughout the one hour show at 818-572-8030 (long distance charges do apply). We encourage you join in the discussion.

Go to Central Casting and tell them, “I need someone who looks like a judge, and he needs to look elderly.” Guess what? the guy you are looking for is in Dept. 43 down at the “Stanley.” Over the last few weeks I have heard different opinions on the “new” judge that took Judge Rafael Ongkeko’s place. Being perfectly honest here folks, Judge Ongkeko was not the most popular judge among the city’s divorce lawyers. Many — not all — would pass on having Ongkeko hear a case. Judge Ongkeko had a personality that was a little tough to understand, I have had that very same problem over the years. Should I say that maybe criminal courts in Van Nuys might be more fertile ground for his style and warm personality…just a suggestion (this was the judge that Mel Gibson’s legal team got booted from his case. Under California law, lawyers have 10 days from the filing date to apply for a different judge).
Back to Judge Robert E. Willett, a former litigator for over thirty years with the firm of O’Melveney. Pretty much right out of Berkeley’s Boalt Hall School of Law (1974) he went to work with O’Melveney and remained there up until his appointment by former Governor Schwarzenegger in 2010 to the Superior Court bench. Now I am just guessing that this had to be a BIG pay cut for Judge Willett. For any lawyer to become a judge it is almost a crowning point, the icing on the cake and again, Judge Willett was not making minimum wage as a 30 year litigatior with a firm like O’Melveney (sounds like a good name for a cookie). So let’s not do any fund-raising for the good judge, now some judges who had other positions and not with big firms or founding partners, them maybe.
I spoke to several lawyers prior to visiting Dept. 43 and having a seat. Some that I spoke to had a wait-and-see attitude except for Patrick DeCarolis of Trope and Decarolis. Patrick told me that he got a sense of “quiet power“ and furthermore to make his point even more clearly, “I like him.” Well I sat in the front row as I often do and watched and listened as a group of four lawyers attempted to practice law. I immediately saw what Mr. DeCarolis had mentioned, “quiet power,” Judge Willett is not going to wring his hands and I don’t see him sitting on his hands and rocking either, he has been around and in far more difficult positions as a litigator than he will be in the position he holds now. My point is that I think we have a new judge who once he gets his footing is going to be one of our favorites at DesperateExes.com.
Sure he has that smile and glint in his eye, more likely he has that even when he is pissed, you know what I mean? And it is going to be the job of any lawyer in front of Judge Willett to figure out — is he smiling because I am doing a good job or is he thinking, “moron”! To me that is the best part of Judge Robert E. Willett.
Welcome Judge Willett to the “Stanley” from all of us at DesperateExes.com>

Brot and Gross have hit it to the moon again! Lawyers Ronald Brot and Mark Gross continue to be the “go to” guys in the world of high profile divorces. Well Ron is going to the moon, sort of indirectly.
Ronald Brot is representing Buzz Aldrin (whom we all watched walk on the moon with Neil Armstrong) as he now sends his third wife to the moon! Ron is the guy to do it, and I am betting it will be a one way trip. These divorce lawyers (Ron and Mark) have the energy and shock like a new nightclub….they rock! And they have the office and staff to rock most lawyers worlds…they are not nice and they like it that way. Nice they are as to being great and fun people, but not easy when it comes to seeing anything except what they think is right for their clients…”Fly me to the Moon” indeed!
And the reason for the divorce you ask? “Irreconcilable differences”, a legal term for they hate each other, at least for now. Well that is great for Mr. Aldrin, he got him a real launcher but wait. This is not going to be cheap…welcome to Southern California, great sun and even greater legal fees! Divorce is a big deal, like building a house and it should not be cheap…you want it done right and you should pay for it. Also it is a learning experience that once you do it you don’t want to do it again. Buzz? is this number 3? You got to love this guy, The Moon and DIVORCE #3.
Lois Cannon and Buzz were married on Valentines Day, in ’88 (over ten years, you go girl!) and I understand that she is searching for a divorce lawyer and a satellite to keep her in orbit, or at least in a “lifestyle” she is accustomed to and who are you betting on? Meyer Olson Lowy & Meyers? Trope & Trope? Trope & Decarolis? Ros Soudry? Susan Wiesner? Grace Jamra? Steven Knowles? Bob Cohen? well my fingers are getting sore. All I will say that whoever she gets to keep her in orbit will have their hands full in dealing with RON BROT.
And we are at 10, 9, 8, ahh you know the rest, I need to stop!
Once again Desperate Exes.com give us a unique view into Divorce Hollywood Style and John J. Nazarian has a new update on the murder of Mike Yepremyan’s latest murder suspect.

Nothing better than to wake up first thing in the morning and have calls coming in with the question, “who did Laura Wasser hire as her P.I.? “ Let me think, NOT ME for sure. One – we are too expensive, and I am very happy to be able to write those very words. Two – are you nuts? Going up against Arnold Schwarzenegger and his lawyers…is there an upside to this assignment? Ahhhh let me think, no, not even the money would be worth the “encounter.” “Happy” will not be a word coming from the mouths of whoever is being chosen for this gauntlet of misery that he or she will be facing. Let’s sit and think for a moment who it is that some “P.I.” is going to try and mess with…now you understand? Go back to sleep and just hope this all passes.
Remember Arnold is smart, very smart…look into his eyes when he is being followed and asked questions, the look of annoyance is present and is it not a look as to say “I want to make you go away and fast”? I swear the look in his eyes when he is annoyed is familiar, very familiar, like in TERMINATOR! No I am not being silly here folks, it is my opinion that you want to stay on the sunny side with this guy or your life will become difficult, maybe even miserable. We here at Nazarian and Associates are happy and thank god busy…loving the desert.
Much of my success has been to know when to duck, and the other issue for me is that I know the difference between being a “sacrifice” and being an “investigator.” Also I consider Marty Singer a friend and someone that I would not want to be upset with me or my sons. Sure call it old age, call it getting soft, or how about this, “picking your fights carefully.”

What are some of those just brilliant old expressions? “Every dog has its day,” “sleep with dogs, wake up with fleas,“ and one of the best ones that comes to my mind today is “you don’t know what you got till you lose it.” And did I hear someone ask, “Have you seen Michael?”…LMAO, I think I found him and have the wet clothes to prove it, read on.
You heard it here first folks, on January 2, 2011 I predicted that “it would appear that others too are checking the depth of the water and chipping barnacles in hopes of setting sail.” Well, I am walking to my car after having an incredible lunch with one of my best friends, Sorrell Trope founder of Trope and Trope. Sorrell and I had a great lunch and as always the conversation was the best. All of a sudden I get hit with a hail of water, another “anchor” dropped and it was at 9465 Wilshire Boulevard…wait, this is the offices of Jamra & Jamra! Shiver me timbers, it is Michael B. Hanasab, Esq. He has said goodbye to Phillips, Lerner & Lauzon, LLP aka “Sticey Flips & Co.” It would seem that at this rate, Ms. Flips offices will be a great place to practice yodeling. The upside of all this is that new associates will have a place to get some experience in the world of divorce. My opinion is just that, my opinion, but “Flips” still has some great talent in suite 1200. My only thought is this, who is next? I hear some serious barnacle chipping is still going on.

Michael Hanasab, Esq. is one of DesperateExes.com’s favorite associates and for sure one of the up and coming divorce lawyers. Remember we are tracking the bright stars in the world of divorce, associates are our stars and in time you will see why. Michael arrived March 21, 2011 his ship docked….then why did I get splashed this afternoon? Mr. Hanasab is a graduate of Loyola and has been practicing for 6 years. When asked what moved him to set sail, it was a simple response, “this was a step up and out “. Michael I could not agree with you more, you have joined one of the premier up and coming law firms in Southern California. To be more exact, Beverly Hills, if you have not seen the new offices of Jamra & Jamra all I can say is wow! The furniture, the art work and the incredible fresh flowers and orchids, very nice, tranquil and classy…that is what this firm is all about.
…Congratulations Michael and Grace the best is yet to come. …You can find Michael B. Hanasab, Esq at Jamra & Jamra, 9465 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 460, Beverly Hills, California. Call Michael and say hi, 310-278-9001
…Be sure to visit Desperate Exes.com for this article as well as a few others we have not picked up. I catch we need to watch those upcoming stars to see where John J. Nazarian is going with all of this.

Here is a thought that I have for the California useless P.I. clubs and organizations: why is it that we have “lawyers” aka MINORS COUNSEL being appointed at a pretty decent per hour rate, $125/hour? If you should be so lucky to be appointed and the parties involved are rich and maybe a little famous the sky is the limit…it is absolutely incredible, you can bill your regular hourly rate. Now if you are one of these high dollar lawyer types do you have any idea what that number can be? And for some children who can barely whisper “goo goo gah gah,” this is the truth here and I am shocked that this has not been mentioned before.
There were two cases last year that were nothing short of spectacular for two divorce lawyers who billed tens of thousands on one and hundreds of thousands on the other. Forget about the CONSTITUTIONAL ISSUES involved, some of these minors counsel have a great deal of power. They can make decisions and they get to testify for the minor, LMAO in “their” own words…oh my god! And listening to some of these people is terrifying, to the point that I even can tell that they are ‘gilding the lilly’ aka making stuff up and certainly enhancing the work product, my opinion.
What you ask is my complaint? Simple, they are acting as investigators 70 percent of the time and not as lawyers. To the point the other day I sat and listened to someone I had to describe as nothing but a wind bag with a Bar card. And I could tell by his answers to the court there was a “quiver.”…..
….Anyone questioning my clarity on this, all you have to do is go and sit and listen, most of the time they are not acting as lawyers. There is little or no law being dealt with by them, rather jibberish and bullshit with a dam near guarantee to take a big bite out of your financial well being. The other interesting aspect I have seen is when there is a blatant like for one parent or the other and they are supposed to be impartial and to deal with the facts in their INVESTIGATION. I am still sizzling at how about this? These people are speaking for a child that as I have stated that in many cases can’t express themselves. So in making mention of this again, I plan on paying a lot more attention in the weeks and months to come and when I see other MINORS COUNSEL… …I will have their names and dates so that you can pull the record and see for yourselves.
Be sure and sure and visit Desperate Exes.com to read the rest of John J. Nazarian’s thoughts on something that has bugged me for years.

NOTE FROM ROSE: I quickly called John J. Nazarian to compare notes on this article because it speaks to something near and dear to my heart, children rights. Here in Texas they are called Guardian Ad Litem (but they are lawyers) and often they have themselves promoted to Attorney Ad Litems, via a Motion to the very Court that appointed them as the Guardian Ad Litem. You better believe that the judges listens to them; 1) They answer ONLY to the court that appointed them and 2) they are pretty close to being God in Texas family courts. They swing the case not in the best interest of the child but often to the parent paying them or just the one they “like”. At the end of the day it is about that big paycheck. In the old days in Texas we had “social workers” that reported directly to the judge. They had no legal degree but they did have a Master degree in child and family sociology and for the most part you could not put anything past them and they did care about the children. I have often wonder who came up with this instead, which is only about money to “family lawyers” on a list and never from what I have observed about the children. In my opinion if the court wants the parents or children investigated, hire a P. I. that reports ONLY to the Court, if you want the home environment evaluated hire a social worker that ONLY reports to the Court, get the greedy lawyers out of the child “speak” business. ALL OF THE ABOVE IS COURSE JUST MY OPINION ON WHAT IS REALLY “IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILDREN”.

Hey, I have a great idea, let’s just leave Charlie Sheen alone, enough already. So the guy has had a few bumps in the road…so what? Maybe it is that he expresses himself in a somewhat “outward” fashion. And if “bumps” on the road to success were a crime, we would not have much to watch on the tube! Charlie is a big talent and he knows it as do all those around him…including the best sex money can buy! And again, so what? pretty girls and cute boys have always been in the Hollywood mix…this is happiness that money can buy!
Sure the drugs and hookers, ok… and so what, he is trying to take care of it and it would appear that he is doing the best he can. So what, he buys sex, he is rich and can do as he pleases, it is his money. He does not like AA so maybe he has a point…I found his thoughts on the AA organization interesting. But all of this BS and the attack mode of what seems like the world against this guy is total bullshit. Just let him work through what he has to deal with. What? is the plan to get him to hurt himself, I hope not as much of this is none of anyone’s business. Just leave him alone and get things together.
Here is another reason to leave Mr. Sheen alone, MARTY SINGER. Marty is a friend and one of the best lawyers I think in the country at what he does. And what he does is to assure that people leave him and his clients alone. Can we all agree that Mr. Sheen is clear-minded enough to hire the best legal mind in the country to help him in his affairs?
The last few days of his former wife’s silliness is another issue, who is advising her that she would go to the wrong police department to file her restraining orders? She went to Beverly Hills Police and Charlie does not live in Beverly Hills…duh. Brooke get some competent help or at least someone who knows where the guy your complaining about lives!
…An “emergency restraining order,” ridiculous, outrageous, does “kick the guy when he is down” ring a bell here folks… what was the emergency? “He threatened me.” …The actions of Brooke Mueller in my mind are…
If I was Charlie Sheen I would not worry too much, he has a mega firm backing him in the DIVORCE action, Ron F. Brot and Mark P. Gross of Brot and Gross ( 818-549-0800 ). …Their client looks great in this story and …so let’s see, Marty Singer, Ron Brot and Mark Gross…
Read the rest of the article by John J. Nazarian at Desperate Exes.com. I saw the interview on CNN with Piers Morgan and I agreed with a lot of what Charlie Sheen had to say. He is a mega talent and like most has a mega ego, AND he carries his latest drug test results in his pocket taking a drug test every 48 hours to put a halt to all of this “hysteria”.
