DESPERATEEXES.COM EXCLUSIVE!!!! Anthony Pellicano has filed for divorce from his wife Kat Pellicano. The two were together for well over 25 years. Mr. Pellicano is represented by Robert J. Nachshin, Lawyer, Mr. Nachshin has been in the trenches of ‘divorce’ for many years here in Southern California, handling many high profile clients. Anthony once again could have picked several lawyers to represent him and chose Mr. Nachshin’s office…..smart! (Some of those lawyers I am sure are trying to forget Mr. Pellicano ever existed, but he did and these very same lawyers will forever be connected to him….and we all know who you are).

Anthony Pellicano of course famous for his ability to gather information through the tapping of telephones is serving far more years in a Federal Prison than I am sure he ever expected. Anthony was given an additional 15 years on top of what he was serving for a previous conviction. Please keep in mind that much of that sentence was do to his insistence in representing himself, this I believe. Also even a bigger issue was his refusal to ever roll over on any of the lawyers that he worked with and ‘tapped’ for. For those lawyers here at DESPERATEEXES.COM we call them ‘ Very Very Very Lucky’ lawyers. And you all know who you are as I am sure the feds also know, and lots of others know who you are, and on and on it goes.

Had Anthony decided to save his own ass, he could have been a free man, and the Beverly Hills Bar Association would have had a dozen or so less lawyers in its ranks.

That never happened due in part to Mr. Pellicano keeping his mouth shut and loosing his freedom and everything else he owned. That I am sure brings pleasure to many of his victims and again, at some point you have to let the hate go and move on.

“Summing up, the prosecuting attorney stated that he chose to attack the supply rather than the demand, the way that vice investigators attack pimps and prostitutes rather than johns, because “that’s how you make a dent in it.” The johns in this case were the likes of Bert Fields, Brad Grey, Ron Meyer, Michael Ovitz and Chris Rock, all of whom paid Pellicano for services rendered. “If the government has no plans to go higher than Pellicano, this is a depressingly pedestrian effort that shows a lack of ambition,” commented John C. Coffee, a professor at Columbia Law School and an expert on white-collar crime, as quoted in the NY Times story on the verdict.” This paragraph was taken from Mr. Pellicano’s Wikipedia page and I very much agree with almost all of it. Pellicano could have had some of the most powerful lawyers and entertainment execs in Federal Prison had he chosen to talk…..as if it was not bad enough I am sure that proctologist in Beverly Hills were busy for weeks trying to relax some of these assholes ‘Proktos’!

As for Anthonys wife, Kat, I had the opportunity to speak to her a couple of time and what a class act. She was just one of the nicest people and at times you had to recall that old adage,
“ opposites attract “. As to his family that is private and will never be mentioned here on DESPERATEEXES.COM….none of my business. We do not know at this time who will represent her in these proceedings, my suggestions, lets see, Ira Friedman of Friedman & Friedman, Michael Trope of Trope and Decarolis, Judith Forman of Law Offices of Judith Forman, Grace Jamra of Jamra & Jamra, Roz Soudry, Law Offices of Roslyn Soudry…..just a few that I think that would get through this without the usual slaughter of finances.

For us here at DESPERATEEXES.COM and for myself I hope that this goes in a direction of reasonableness and that both these people get the time to move on with their lives. Mr. Pellicano has plenty of time as well as Robert Nachshin to handle this in a sensitive and delicate manner. It is my hope that Mrs. Pellicano will find her own peace and a counter part to take care of the closing of another chapter in her life.

I wish them both ‘Peace and a better future’.

PS….I would love to have that Pelican that sat in the offices on Sunset Boulevard….

Spiegel International one of Germany and Europe’s Most Premier Magazine’s did a recent article on Anthony Pelicano, John McTiernan and brought up the other almost forgotten scandal of 2007, the article is by Lars-Olav Beier and John Goetz

A court handed down a one-year prison sentence to Hollywood director John McTiernan for having his producer’s phone tapped and then lying about it to the FBI. This bizarre criminal case highlights the mistrust in the film industry.

…A blizzard is blowing through Wyoming, and visibility is down to less than 10 yards. Even so, John McTiernan races his white Ford Ranger pickup along the unpaved road. He knows the way so well he could almost drive it with his eyes closed.

….Not so long ago, McTiernan was one of Hollywood’s most celebrated film directors. He shot action classics such as “Die Hard,” “The Hunt for Red October,” and “The Last Action Hero,” working with stars like Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sean Connery. His movies grossed more than $1 billion at the box office. While McTiernan has always rejected a life in Hollywood, his life on the ranch in Wyoming feels like a kind of self-imposed exile.

McTiernan looks around. He turned 60 last month, and doesn’t look a day younger. The deep lines on his face look like erosion fissures carved by Wyoming storms. As the topic moves to the role played by Washington, DC in his criminal prosecution, he says that he would prefer not to discuss it in the bar, because the conversation could be overheard.

….Last October, McTiernan was handed down a one-year prison sentence for first hiring a private investigator to tap the phone of a producer with whom McTiernan had worked on a film project, and then lying about it. McTiernan is appealing.

A Celebrity Detective for Hollywood’s Elite

The case could well have remained a mere footnote in Hollywood’s scandal-ridden history: A director has a producer’s phone tapped because he suspected people were plotting behind his back. Unfortunately for McTiernan, the man he hired was Anthony Pellicano; private detective to Hollywood’s elite. Pellicano’s clientele has included Michael Jackson, Tom Cruise and Chris Rock. He didn’t know it at the time, but McTiernan became involved in one of the biggest wiretapping affairs in US history.

“There are some very despicable people and there’s a whole lot of unhappy millionaires,” says John Nazarian, a colleague of Pellicano’s who has been a detective in Hollywood for the past 17 years. “Their behavior, their sense of entitlement is despicable. They don’t pay me the money they pay me — $400 per hour — to play fair. What do I need? Little or no morals.”

Fifty-nine-year-old Nazarian is bald, trims his beard to a point and wears a Rolex and a diamond-studded platinum ring. “The best part is feeling it,” he says. “I always wear it on the left-hand side. That way I will not be hitting anybody with it,” he says with a smile. “McTiernan is a crybaby. He just doesn’t want to accept that he has to go to jail.”

Oh John, tell me it ani’t so???? I called John J. Nazarian today before putting his quotes in the article. He laughed and said he stood by all of them and then in the voice only John has chuckled and said “Rose, how could I? It would be like being a prostitute that was allergic to rubber”. I thought back to when I first researched Mr. Nazarian and said back, “Yea John, you literally have dug through garbage before”, referring to the L. A. Times video I saw way back in 2007 about John J Nazarian, my introduction to a Hollywood Celebrity P. I.

Well it was smackdowns and laughs in Department 2 this morning at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse. Real funny for some and real sad for others. Department 2 is the domain of Judge Steinberg and the judge was sticking with her “tentative”..$489,254.05. Yup, she did it and this was an interim fee award without prejudice to request MORE!!!!! More??!! This judge got it and understood clearly what was being done in her court and did the right thing! And you know, the rich are different and should pay when they can to “keep the monkeys dancing.”

Who might you ask were the actors in this divorce drama???? Lisa Kerkorian was in court today with her lawyers, Michael Trope and his partner Patrick DeCarolis, it was strange, these two divorce titans said pretty much nothing…almost church-like! Their paperwork was submitted and there they sat waiting for a decision from Judge Steinberg. NOW, on the other side representing the 41st richest man in the world were Joe Mannis and Robert Kipper, who might you ask is their client? None other than Kirk Kerkorian, who is a very rich old fellow, born in Fresno on June 6, 1917. (I had the chance to meet him for a few seconds during his appearance in Federal Court in defense of his former lawyer and good friend, Terry Christensen. During the Anthony Pellicano wire tapping trial. He was twice as entertaining as Chris Rock …)

Joe Mannis was beside himself as he was throwing all he could to get the Judge not to give this huge sum of money to Lisa’s lawyers….

This is more than huge money, Michael Trope and his client Lisa K can go back to court and likely get more in the weeks and months to come. This is bad for the rich old guy, now the former love of his life can fight him with his own money! If I were Mr. Mannis I would hope that Mr. Kerkorian does not have the volume turned up on his hearing aid when his assistant tells him that he got hammered in Los Angeles this morning…then again one must reflect that you cannot take all that money with you…

Note: It would appear that this year Mr. Kerkorian has been very generous to a few lawyers here in Los Angeles…”what was that clicking sound on my phone?”…

Over the past few days or really Friday night when I was watching my favorite comedian Bill Maher of HBO “Real Time” did I become aware of the Hollywerid mentality of some towards Roman Polanski.

Bill Maher gave more graphic details as to what had happened to this thirteen (13) year old girl at the hands of Roman Polanski back in 1977, then many cared to hear, but it needed to be said and needed to be heard. It was more graphic then I could almost stomach without running to throw up that is how horribly it bothered me. Then I read that Chris Rock came out about his fellow Hollywerid residents condemning them and what Polanski had done to the then young teen, Samantha Geimer.

After that I began to read things like Whoopi Goldberg’s, “well it is not like it was rape-rape”, Do what??? What is the difference between rape and rape-rape?

I have now read the papers available on this old case and some of it made me physically ill. I provide them here for you with a warning that the grand jury testimony of that child will make you sick as will the transcript of the Plea Agreement hearing. No wonder the judge did not want to accept the plea agreement, this stuff is sick.

There is the mystery of why after suing and being awarded $500k in an out of court settlement that as of the last paperwork in 1996, Polanski had still not paid, and so it was at a tad over $600k did this victim change. By 1997 as the letter will show from a now grown rape victim she feels Polanski has suffered enough and the court should be lenient. WHAT??? It is NOT about a rape trial, it is about a man, Roman Polanski pleading guilty and then fleeing the states before he was sentenced once learning the judge had decided not to go by the terms of the Plea Agreement, which by the way judges do have the right to do that. I wonder if around 1997 Ms. Samantha Geimer might have finally collected her settlement and could part of the confidential agreement of the settlement, we will never see, be in exchange for the money she would began her asking the court for leniency against Polanski.

Ms. Geimer is now grown, married with children and one of the strongest cheerleaders for let’s free Roman Polanski, no need to put her through this trauma again. Well pardon me but unless she lied in 1977 this is no longer really about her, it is about a convicted felon fleeing jurisdiction before sentencing. Poor Polanski, having to suffer all of these years in France.

I applaud Bill Maher, Chris Rock and John J. Nazarian, California P. I. and owner of Desperate Exes.com, for calling this what it is, a brutal rape of a child and shame on any resident of Hollywerid for saying different, “well it’s not like its a rape-rape”, how disgusting, it was RAPE and brutal and of a CHILD.

Here are the papers please read with caution and think if this was your daughter could you forgive and then understand why your daughter would have her picture taken with this violent pedophile?
