Gary Lieberman is the attorney who came in to stop a real estate deal John Nazarian had in the works for an apartment building in San Francisco. After losing to Gary John walked out of the room and terminated the attorney he had and Mr. Lieberman secured the apartments back for his client for the same price.
Gary Lieberman is the attorney that said to John, “Ever thought of becoming a P. I.” and the rest is history as they say.
Gary Lieberman has been in private practice since 1976. The major emphasis of the practice has been probate and estate planning. For the last 15 years, Gary has developed one of the most unique elder law practices in the state of California; specializing in long-term care/asset protection/wealth transfer estate planning for seniors.
Gary has helped hundreds of seniors and their families protect everything they have worked a lifetime for, from the cost of long-term care, whether it is in the home, assisted living, or a skilled nursing facility, by accessing government sponsored benefits. By the use of innovative and creative estate/asset protection planning, seniors and their families do not have to spend their lifetime savings, or sell their homes, to pay for their care; their legacy will be passed on to their heirs.
Gary has 4 offices throughout the Bay Area, and is also the owner and operator of Estate Realty, Inc., a full service real estate brokerage specializing in probate and trust sales of real property; specializing in sales, purchases, and 1031 tax-defered exchanges of probate and trust real property. He also owns and operates Estate Financial Services which specializes in reverse mortgages. Gary is also a licensed insurance agent. Gary has qualified as an expert in this field in Sonoma, San Francisco, and Contra Costa counties.
Lieberman is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the California Association of Senior Estate Planners, and the California Advocates For Nursing Home Reform. Lieberman lectures throughout the State of California on Elder Law issues.
However Gary Lieberman’s most famous feat is making the right comment at the right time to make Celebrity P. I. John J Nazarian famous!!!!

Chickie’s Bail Bonds was created twenty-seven years ago on the dining room table of Chickie Leventhal. She worked her way up from a secretary, to an Assistant Vice President of a national insurance company, to the proud owner of a successful bail bond business. Although much has changed in the twenty-seven years of her tenure, many things remain the same. Chickie Leventhal, Expert Bail Agents. Chickie started her business with the notion that she would never be the “typical bail bond agent”. She made a promise to be honorable and not sacrifice her integrity, ethics or rose-colored glasses. She set out to make her bail bond business clean and safe, and stay away from the negative assumption the bail bond industry was under. She wanted to make a difference.
Today, all of Chickie’s work ethics remain the same. Because of the high standards she set for her business, Chickie’s Bail Bonds is still going strong. This has been made possible with the help of her son Mitch, daughter Karen and longtime employee Debbie – a perfect team. She still maintains her integrity, ethics and her rose-colored glasses, even if they have needed an extra polishing from time to time.
One of Chickie’s reason for being in this business is that she sees this as helping to preserve ALL of our constitution rights, mainly the one that we are all innocent until proven guilty.
Chickie will appear with lawyers for bail hearings, on more than one case crying in court. Imagine that people, a bail bonds person crying in court because they want the judge to set the bail for the person to get out; she is there to guarantee the bail and the appearance of the charged person. She will be sharing some of these with John J Nazarian tonight.
Chickie has also posted bail for some of the rich and famous like Phil Spector and she will be talking about that also.
Once a person is tried or in many cases makes a plea bargain even if innocent, Chickie’s job is done. However she has her eyes wide open as to the faults in our legal system and will be sharing those as well.
Telephone lines are always open to call in at 818-572-8030 long distance charges do apply, join in the discussion or ask questions of John and his guest, Chickie Leventhal. The show airs live at 7 PM PST and 10 PM EST for an hour tonight and then will be archived for future listeners.

Straight Talk with Celebrity P. I. John J. Nazarian guest tonight is is best selling author Kevin Mitnick. Kevin’s book, Ghost in the Wires: My Adventures as the World’s Most Wanted Hacker, is an autobiography of the onetime “most wanted” criminal of cyberspace. Kevin Metnick recounts his exploits; it is a hacker tells all as he was on the FBI most wanted list.
THIS WAS A GREAT SHOW AND A MUST LISTEN TO EVEN ARCHIVED, YOU WILL LAUGH UNTIL YOU CRY
While he excelled at infiltrating computer systems from a keyboard and had a sharp memory for numbers, “Ghost in the Wires” (written with William L. Simon) really showcases another of Mitnick’s skills: social engineering, or what he describes as “the casual or calculated manipulation of people to influence them to do things they would not ordinarily do.” By doing his research and impersonating authority figures over the phone or by e-mail, Mitnick found he could persuade just about anybody — programmers, technicians, even the nice lady at the Social Security Administration — to give him the things he wanted, like passwords, computer chips and personal information about F.B.I. informants on his tail. “People, as I had learned at a very young age, are just too trusting,” he writes.
It’s this element to his story that makes “Ghost in the Wires” read like a contemporary über-geeky thriller. Many of today’s computer viruses and identity-theft scams — and even the recent phone-hacking scandals of certain newspapers — depend on social engineering mixed with a misuse of technology to dupe the unsuspecting. In that regard, Mitnick’s memoir also serves as a wake-up call for anyone trying to keep personal information private.
Metnick has been out of prison since 2000, Mitnick now works as a security consultant. Metnick is also booked around the world as a speaker.
You can buy Ghost in the Wires: My Adventures as the World’s Most Wanted Hacker from all online book stores including Amazon.
Perhaps he can explain why Iran’s media is telling the world how they were able to take “control” of a U. S. Drone in the last two weeks and get it to land in their country where they are now studying the latest U. S. technology in “stealth” airplanes and drones.
The U. S. has been warning for years that the most serious attack the U. S. could suffer from is not a typical war like attack by military, but a cyber attack on our infrastructure. John will be asking Kevin what that means and what if anything the average citizen can do about protecting themselves or what they can do to attempt to survive such an attack.
This is going to prove to be one of Straight Talk’s best shows and a must listen to for anyone who own a computer, or works in a number of businesses today.
Telephone lines are always open to call in at 818-572-8030 long distance charges do apply, join in the discussion or ask questions of John and his guest, Kevin Mitnick questions. The show airs live at 7 PM PST and 10 PM EST for an hour tonight and then will be archived for future listeners.

James Fayed was found guilty of first degree murder on Thursday, May 19, 2011, with special circumstances of financial gain and lying in wait. Also found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder in the death of Pamela Fayed.
….10:57 am: BUZZ! BUZZ! BUZZ! We have a verdict!
…11:38 am: I move down to a chair right by the door so I can exit the courtroom quickly and press send to get the verdict published first. ANOTHER camera guy comes in to try to set up!
….12:05 pm: Judge takes the bench at 12:05 pm. On the record. Fayed is here. Jurors have reached a verdict. I don’t want any reaction, visible reaction …. and I don’t want the jury to be influenced by any way (because if it is a first degree verdict and because of the special circumstance) so can we please bring the jury out.
First there were some issues the defense presented for the record. Jackson wanted to present a handwritten letter into evidence that was found with Pamela Fayed’s personal things in the storage unit. This letter, dated July 7th, 2006, was confiscated by authorities in the search warrant and the family had never seen it. The defense argued that this letter was hearsay, and no clear evidence it was written by Pamela Fayed. Jackson argued passionately that he wanted to present this letter because it would show clear evidence of the family’s loss. Judge Kennedy in no way shape or form, would allow Jackson to present this letter to witnesses in front of the jury. She was very firm about that. Steve Meister read the letter in court and it appeared to be a letter that Pamela prepared beforehand to be read to her daughter in the event of her death.
Pamela Fayed’s sister Dawn Opoulos testified.
Afternoon session:
#2 Christina Holland – personal friend of Pamela’s #3 Scott Goudie – brother of Pamela #4 Shelbi Hamilton – personal friend of Pamela’s #5 Greta Baught – oldest sister to Pamela

What the case is about and who is who in this criminal trial of James Fayed MURDER FOR HIRE
Opening Statements will be heard this morning in Dept. 109, Judge Kathleen Kennedy’s courtroom at the downtown Los Angeles Criminal Justice Center (CJC) in the murder-for-hire trial of James Fayed for the July 28, 2008 stabbing death of his wife, Pamela, in a Century City parking structure.
The Fayed’s were in the midst of a bitter divorce and fighting over control of their Camarillo-based gold trading business called Goldfinger Coin and Bullion Sales and an Internet firm, e-Bullion.
From my understanding, right before 6:30 pm, the Fayed’s had been in a meeting with defense attorneys regarding an FBI examination of their business enterprises. Witnesses looked on in horror as a man wielding a knife repeatedly slashed Pamela in the third floor of the parking garage. Paramedics arriving on the scene were unable to save her.
Prosecution team is Eric Harmon and Alan Jackson. Defense is Mark Werksman. Werksman’s co-counsel is Steve Meister, from Werksman’s office.
There are two special circumstance charges, financial gain and lying-in-wait which makes the defendant eligible for the death penalty. Prosecutors in Los Angeles County accuse Fayed of paying a former employee, Jose Luis Moya, 50, about $25,000 to arrange his wife’s slaying.
1. Desiree Goudie – oldest daughter of Pamela Fayed. 2. Delilah Urrea – friend of victim and former employee of Fayed’s company, Goldfinger. 3. Gregory Wallace Herring – family law attorney representing Pamela Fayed at the time of her death.
4. Mark Avis – Federal prosecutor for US Attorney General’s Office (testimony complete) 5. David Willingham – Criminal defense attorney; first one Pamela had, later disqualified (testimony complete) 6. Carol Nebe – “Best friend” of Pamela since 1989 7. Jean Nelson – Criminal defense attorney; took over for David Willingham
8. Matthew Grode – Attorney; witness who observed attack from office across street 9. Eric Spear – Detective-in-charge at the scene 10. Edwin Rivera – Witness at scene; saw Pamela die 11. Dr. Stephen Schultz, MD – L.A. County Deputy Coroner; performed autopsy 12. Mark Newhouse – FBI Special Agent – assisted in search warrants at various locations
15. Alex Samayoa – Owner/Manager of AVIS Rental Car in Camarillo, CA; presents car rental records of the red SUV by Goldfinger 16. Tenille Chacon – Police Officer in Oxnard, CA; stopped and questioned Simmons, Marquez a month before the murders 17. Edward Dixon – ATT Employee; verified phone records of Moya, Fayed, Mercedes 18. Marty McCoy – Former boss and friend of Pamela; accompanied her to a 4th of July party 19. Dan Jensen – Sprint/Nextel Employee; verified phone records of Simmons, Marquez 20. Salaam Abdul-Rahman – Robbery-Homicide Detective; took over investigation in August, 2008
