Over the weekend, John McCain’s top adviser announced their plan to stop engaging in a debate over the economy and “turn the page” to more direct, personal attacks on Barack Obama.

In the middle of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, they want to change the subject from the central question of this election. Perhaps because the policies McCain supported these past eight years and wants to continue are pretty hard to defend.

But it’s not just McCain’s role in the current crisis that they’re avoiding. The backward economic philosophy and culture of corruption that helped create the current crisis are looking more and more like the other major financial crisis of our time.

During the savings and loan crisis of the late ’80s and early ’90s, McCain’s political favors and aggressive support for deregulation put him at the center of the fall of Lincoln Savings and Loan, one of the largest in the country. More than 23,000 investors lost their savings. Overall, the savings and loan crisis required the federal government to bail out the savings of hundreds of thousands of families and ultimately cost American taxpayers $124 billion.

Sound familiar?

In that crisis, John McCain and his political patron, Charles Keating, played central roles that ultimately landed Keating in jail for fraud and McCain in front of the Senate Ethics Committee. The McCain campaign has tried to avoid talking about the scandal, but with so many parallels to the current crisis, McCain’s Keating history is relevant and voters deserve to know the facts — and see for themselves the pattern of poor judgment by John McCain.

So at noon Eastern on Monday, October 6th, we’re releasing a 13-minute documentary about the scandal called “Keating Economics: John McCain and the Making of a Financial Crisis” — it will be available at KeatingEconomics.com, along with background information that every voter should know.

Over the last year or so I was interviewed by Marty Lasden, the editor of California Lawyer Magazine, who did a huge story on Pellicano and an even larger photo lay out of me (the best part of Marty’s story!). And through the months I have spoken to numerous news agencies and given them my insights about P.I.s and the Pelican. And I told all of them of my encounters with Anthony Pellicano and his reign of bullshit. I even told a few that I had received a letter advising me, as only Anthony could do, that I was to do this and that and this…LMAO. I was told that at one time he told a very famous boxer that I was an extortionist and this kid believed him for awhile…now this is real funny looking back, comparing what Pellicano did and what I do (thank god this same boxer surrounds himself with great investment people for good advice, and not the big Goombah). Oh sure, I have had my issues with people and places, and you know what? It comes with the territory…like my daddy always told me, when you run across a cow field you are going to step in shit….and he was right! I have even been accused of using a police Captain’s business card on my dash for parking at the court house…hogwash, at the time the guy was a Lt.

There are no words to adequately express to give you our sympathy. The loss of a love one only begins to heal with a lot of time.  In fact, it does not heal only the pain lessens.

No matter what each of our beliefs might be Tianna, know you are in our thoughts, our hearts and in each of our individual type of prayers. The loss of our last sibling whether a brother as I lost or a sister as you lost is a life altering experience. The greatest gift you gave her was facing her death head on with her; there is no greater gift we give one we love. Nor is there any more of a personal painful time any of us might go through. May you find comfort in knowing you were there, that her pain is no more, and that there was nothing left unsaid.  The love will embrace you and hold you and we your friends are here just to offer what little each of us might for you.

I will close with one of my favorite sayings that I have read at funerals of love ones I have lost.

Havana and Bahama Mama are the same person, there is no reason to defend me as not being a liar anywhere. I have verified with Mr. Harris that they are one and the same person if you have a question; Mr. Harris has his email on his first page as I have my email on the first page of this site.

Hey, we like Mr. Harris’ blog and his international forums and have many times suggested all of you join his forums. Havana chose to leave this site, her choice, was not asked to, we are all adults with adult discussions. However, Havana still spends a lot of time on our blog and site reading and we are glad she does and if at a later date it does not compromise her “needed unbiased objectiveness” with Mr. Harris as his moderator we hope she joins again and becomes an active participant. In other words, there is no side to take, we are all on the same mission of adult discussions using facts to verify and help exercise all of our brains by encouraging personal research.

There is no need for Lynderella to defend me or anyone else to do that. I do appreciate defending my honor and honesty because as many of you know I stand by what I say and if I say it you can bank it.

Please let us drop this and not clutter this blog, our forums or Mr. Harris’ forums with such non-productive posts when we have books to debunk.

Please don’t post about, Havana or Bahama Mama on this thread, but you can post on the upcoming Debunking of Chapter 12, and now I am diving back into the link part of that debunking so I can give it to you today as I have promised.
