TMZ.com reports and has obtained a copy of a defamation lawsuit Howard K. Stern filed in L.A. County Superior Court today [September 2] right before the one year expiration to do so, wonder if Jackie Hatten thought she was home free?
Who’s crying now is my question. Has Howard K. Stern now located Hatten, who the agreed extension in the New York case stated Stern’s lawyers were having problems finding?
Howard K. Stern vs. Rita Cosby and Hachette Books lawsuit in New York will be going to a pretrial conference on September 26 and Wilma Vicedomine is trying to help them all she can via the Florida Suit and her alleged typing of thousands of posts on the internet via TMZ.com, other internet sites and chat channels.
In the newest suit reported by TMZ.com, Stern is suing Mark Speer(s), Debra Opri’s boy, and Jackie Hatten or known legally as Jacqueline Elizabeth Hatten per the California filings. Wonder if Opri can be brought into this is Speer(s) decides he contacted Rita Cosby for Cosby’s old friend Opri? Kind of like we are finding out was Wilma Vicedomine’s role if those allegations turn out to be true.
The newest lawsuit alleges Mark Speer(s) lies include claims that Howard K. Stern was stealing money from Anna Nicole Smith; wheeling and dealing with Larry Birkhead over Dannielynn; and the famous claim that his [Stern] parents was helping via off shore bank accounts. Now who would have believed that with even a tad of research on the Stern family which you can bet Don Clark and Wilma Vicedomine was exhausted in digging up and looking under any and all rocks would have debunked that allegation promptly and way before they made it into any book.

Patrik Simpson and Pol’ Atteu reveal more about their friendship with Anna Nicole Smith as they answer your questions below. Patrik thinks maybe I sent the virus I had through the phone lines, he and Shelby were pretty sick and Pol’ was taking care of them both as Pol’ never seems to catch what is going around. Pol’ is super at multi-tasking going from fashion to cooking for the family. Patrik has been playing catch up this last week and that is the reason behind the answers to your questions taking awhile coming from them, also, they wanted to take their time in the answers to you … our members. Yes, they have read the site and appreciate the support from Rosespeaks.com for the interviews, covering all the lawsuits and the support from YOU our members.
They come across as wonderful parents and they both have a mighty big heart. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know them and being able to be ourselves while chit chatting about all things from Anna Nicole Smith to haircuts to sharing stories and proud moments about our daughters.
Look for them on Extra this week in an exclusive interview with Carlos Diaz. They met Carlos Diaz while in the Bahamas, so it was a very comfortable interview. They will be in the studio with Carlos and at the Pol’ Atteu Boutique showing off some of Pol’s one of a kind dresses’ made for Anna. We only know at this time… the interview on Extra will be on one day this week, during “sweeps week”, when they find out for sure what day…. They will let us know first!
Here are the questions and answers by Pol’ Atteu and Patrik Simpson from our members.
1. Though I knew the why’s of Anna Nicole going to the Bahamas I’m wondering if once there, before Daniel died, if she was happy? She was happy to be away from the tabloids/paps and those that wanted to intrude on her every move? I know she made her living in front of cameras and I think that’s where the idea came to plug the new show. She could still do her thing and make a living and then escape it all. We never saw paps climbing the walls, or sitting in trees trying to get the money shot while she was there. If Daniel Smith hadn’t died, I envision her to finally have found some peace and comfort where she could have raised her daughter. Am I off the mark or just wishful thinking.
Answer: Yes. Before anyone knew Anna was in the Bahamas, she had a little time to get some much needed R & R. The Bahamas was going to be her safe haven. A place where she could “let her hair down” and relax and have her baby without the prying eyes of the paparazzi. She told us before she left we should buy a house next to hers. We had looked at a few properties there. Sadly, her safe haven turned out to be her worst nightmare. If Daniel Smith had never passed away, Anna would have been able to find the peace and solace she so desperately sought.
2. I wonder if Pol’ and Patrik have thought about doing a line of classy dresses for women 12 and up?
Answer: Two things. First, Patrik is the owner of Network International Models & Talent in Beverly Hills. Pol’ is the Couture Designer. Pol’ made many dresses for Anna when she was plus size & when she was thin. He fits women of all shapes and sizes. His specialty has always been high fashion couture, but coming soon will be a contemporary line of clothing. The new casual line will be affordable and mainstream. We are both excited about it’s upcoming debut. Plus both of us are creating a men’s line coming soon. Our daughter Shelby is getting into the design business, too. Shelby and Pol’ are working on a new teen line that they are designing together.
3. Did they see more then friends when it came to Anna & Howard’s relationship?
Answer: Yes. They were more than just friends. The commitment that they had to each other exhibited the true nature of their relationship.
4. How did Daniel Smith feel about Howard K. Stern and what do they think of the PI that said Daniel was scared and concerned about Howard, or was it more like Daniel was worried about Anna’s friends Ford Shelly and G. Ben Thompson?
Answer: Daniel and Howard were like brothers more than a father-son relationship. They hung out together many many times.
5. Did Anna Nicole Smith talk about her childhood with them?
Answer: Yes. Many times. The stories and intimate details that Anna confided in with us about her childhood and her relationships with her mother, brother and step-father are a complete book in itself. We printed the email in our book in which Anna describes her mother as a monster only to show everyone what Anna thought of her mother. Those were NOT our words, but Anna’s.
6. I have a question for Pol’ and Patrik did they know either of the Hattens?
Answer: No. We had not heard of Jackie Hatten until after Daniel died. She came to the Bahamas house while we were there, and Anna told “Big” Moe, Anna’s bodyguard and friend, to tell her to go away. We spoke to Jackie after Anna passed away. Patrik spoke with her on the phone when she reached out to offer her condolences. They have spoken on the phone a few times. I’m sure one day they will meet face to face.
7. I actually have a question for Pol ‘and Patrik. What is their secret to balancing their careers and raising the beautiful daughter they have? It’s hard with working parents as sometimes my own husband is putting in double shifts.
Answer: The key to success is the balance of mutual love and respect we have for one another and our family unit. We maintain an unprecedented commitment to each other. Our daughter is always first no matter what we do. She comes even before us or our businesses. NO matter how busy we all are, we ALWAYS have a night every week that we spend the ENTIRE evening togther. Pol’ is an exceptional Fmother (we explain that in our book) and keeps Shelby pretty well-grounded.
8. First of all, if you don’t mind me asking, why do you spell it ‘Pol’?
Answer: Because of the way it is supposed to be pronounced. My mother had a strong Armenian accent and that’s way she said my name. It’s pronounced POLE not Paul. Out of respect for my deceased mother I honor the way she pronounced my name.
9. What did you think when you saw Ford Shelley trash your $5,000.00 dress?
Answer: I didn’t know that happened. If it did, it doesn’t matter. I know how beautiful my designs are. I put love and devotion into everything I create no matter what their social scale is. If my name is going to be on that dress I make sure it’s the best in fit, design and quality. The key is to make sure my clients walk away from me feeling like a million bucks. Any woman that has worn one of my dresses can tell you from firsthand knowledge what an amazing experience it is to wear a Pol’ Atteu.
10. How did you get involved with that sketchyass publisher in the first place?
Answer: Ms. Gibson came to Pol’s boutique for a dress. Our publicist referred her to us. We are very kind and generous people, and sometimes a little to trusting. She said she had a small publishing company and she really made us believe she cared about the project and would make sure a beautiful tribute book was put together. It was important for us to make sure the book had a certain level of class and elegance to it, and that it would be a “must-have” for all of Anna’s fans. We wanted a book that was easy to read, had some very beautiful pictures and showed the intimate friendship we shared with Anna. When it became CLEAR to us that the “convicted felon” could NOT accomplish this, we terminated our agreement and published the book through Kings Road Publishing.
11. In your book you said that right before Anna died she was cramping with a lot and bleeding- do you think she could have been pregnant?
Answer: We knew Anna had wanted another baby after Dannielynn. If you remember, she kept teasing about that. Anna had wanted to start a new family in the Bahamas. She said she wanted another girl. I don’t know if she could ever had a boy, it never would have been the same without Daniel.
12. Do you think that Anna is proud of Howard now? (For getting her buried next to her son and doing everything he can within his power to keep her baby girl safe)
Answer: Yes. I’m sure Anna is proud of all of us who fought tirelessly to make sure that HER wishes were carried out. Patrik sat right next to Anna Nicole when she picked out the burial plots, and was very CLEAR that there had to be enough plots for them all to be buried together. She was also VERY CLEAR about wanting J. Howard Marshall’s ashes placed in the casket with her. I know that she is looking down on us from heaven, smiling and happy, that we were able to honor what she wanted. Anna was so stubborn when she was alive. We had to make sure HER wishes were followed after she was gone.
13. If you are willing to, explain the effect Anna and Daniel’s Smith death has had on Howard K. Stern.
Answer: Anna’s death was completely devastating for all of us that loved her. I don’t think Howard has ever been the same since she passed away. I know we haven’t. Anna was like this “light” in our lives that always knew how to make us smile. We loved each other with no conditions and no boundaries. As we said in our book, we maybe didn’t always agree with the choices she made, but as her friend we gave her our love and support. It’s never been the same without her. I miss her funny little text messages, her blatant statements and her undeniable charm and appeal she had on us.
14. Do you think that Larry Birkhead feels any guilt towards Anna’s death? (i.e. Debra “Anna and Howard are dying Dannielynn’s hair” Opri)
Answer: We never knew of Anna dying the baby’s hair?!? I can only say that people don’t change. If there was an agenda before Anna died, I’m sure there is an agenda now. When Anna was alive, she protected her children. Any parent does.
15. Years ago, Hollywood was known for its glamour. The red carpet was a place for the stars to shine and be portrayed as royalty. Now it seems that tabloids have tainted that image. The Oscars and Globes ratings have fallen. Is it due to lack of interest or are the stars no longer on a pedestal as they once were? The human frailties that everyone has are now splashed across websites and magazines for fodder to snark over. Are people more interested in the train wreck aspect than the fan aspect? Has it changed the atmosphere in Hollywood from years gone past?
Answer: We don’t think anything has changed. Maybe the year, maybe the face..but, it’s always the same. Let’s face it. People reading the magazines and clicking on those celeb websites don’t want to read about something good. They want DIRT. Why do you think these magazines sell like hotcakes? Were not sure the ratings have fallen? It’s more like there is MORE competition. It used to be just the National Enquirer and The Star, now you have over 10 solid rag-mags published every week. But, it’s no different from day one in Hollywood. We have learned Hollywood loves to build you up, only so they can tear you down, and then build you back up again. That’s why it is so true that ONLY the STRONG survive this business. But, for us, it’s something we love to do. Pol’ takes great pleasure in making a woman feel her utmost sexy in one of his gowns. Patrik gets a personal high from taking a model and grooming and molding them, and then putting them in a magazine. We don’t think we could do anything else.
16. You mention a talent agency. You’re not like Donny Bonaduce? are you? Looking for the next child star? Does Shelby want to be in the biz?
Answer: Patrik has the model and talent agency, Network International Models & Talent. http:www.network-models.com. The agency is licensed and bonded in the state of California and has been open for over 16 years. It’s not an easy industry to be in, let alone for over 16 years. Network International Models & Talent is ALWAYS looking for its next star, but I think the media misrepresents a lot of what goes on in this industry. It all boils down to the parents. If the parents of a kid in the entertainment industry were bad parents before their child starting doing commercials, they are going to be bad parents afterwards. Plain and simple. Shelby is a model and an actress. She recently booked her first cover. You can see her on the cover of Zodi-Habit magazine. http://www.zodihabit.com She also just competed in New York City in the MAAI’s (Modeling Association of America International’s annual modeling convention, and won a Summer scholarship to The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. We are very proud of her. She sings, she dances, acts and models. It was a natural thing that Shelby would be in this business because she has been around it all her life. She was on the Anna Nicole E Special “Anna Goes To Camp” and she’s starring in “Designer Family” with us. However, we are STRICT parents. There are auditions we have NOT let her attend because she didn’t have her homework done. That’s the key to making sure your child grows up healthy and happy in this industry…KEEP THEM GROUNDED and well adjusted. We would have supported Shelby in any career choice she wanted. That’s what good parents do.
I HAVE TWO QUESTIONS——-
17. What was Anna’s relationship with DR E, where they good friends?
Answer: She loved Anna and Anna adored her. She, along with us helped take care of Dannielynn, and gave unconditional support and friendship to Anna. All these bloggers that want to blame Dr. Khris for Anna’s death don’t know the real story. If Khris Erosovich could trade places with Anna, she would, in a heartbeat. We love Khris and will always support her. She was Anna’s friend. Again, as we have stated many, many times a true friend will love and support you no matter what. That’s what Khris did.
18. Was the doctor there with Anna a lot of the time, did Anna ever go on dining alone with Howard?
Answer: We were all there with Anna & Howard. Khris, along with us made many frequent trips to the Bahamas. But, there were many times that none of us was there and it was just Anna & Howard. One of Anna’s favorite places to go with Howard was the “Poopdeck”. It’s in the central part of town, and quite well-known.
19. The gowns that were designed for Anna Nicole Smith are beautiful. Is there anything in place to protect them in the future so that they are not damaged? A exhibition of these beautiful dresses would be lovely. When everything settles down of course. I think that Anna is firmly in the history books and the dresses you designed are a part of her public life.
Answer: Someday they will be unveiled and showcased. Right now we are considering many options to make that possible. Anna is a part of history and will always be an ICON of our time. We may hold an auction for charity, or possibly open a museum. We want to make it possible for Anna’s fans to see all the beautiful gowns Pol’ created for her.
20. What did Anna and Howard say to each other in their vows??
Answer: The universal language of their love and commitment to each other was revealed in the look of their eyes staring into each others.
21. Could you elaborate about why Ford Shelley and crew couldn’t be stopped from taking things from Horizons?
Answer: That’s one of the hardest things Pol’ ever had to do: stand there and watch them pillage Anna’s home. At the time, there was NO establishment of residence in place. Technically, there was no LEGAL way to stop Ford Shelley and crew from doing what they did. While that was going on, an attorney for Howard, Wayne Munroe, was in court to get a court order to get the house back, which would have prevented Ford and crew from doing what they did. Pol’ was outside with the Police waiting, so even if he wanted to do something, he couldn’t. It was the most helpless feeling. And, to make it even worse afterwards and walk in to see what a disheveled mess was left behind. Once those court orders were in place, Pol’ had the locks changed to prevent them from coming back and then immediately went to the Bahamas Police Station to file the theft report.
22. & 23. What was the mood in the house the day the dna test revealed that Howard K. Stern was not Dannielynn biodad? What was the mood in the house when Larry Birkhead left with Dannielynn? How was Howard? (If you don’t want to answer those last two questions cause you don’t feel like it would be appropriate I would understand. I don’t know if it was appropriate from me to even ask them)
Answer: All of us were devastated. Dannielynn was the last real connection to Anna Nicole Smith. When Larry took Dannielynn out of the Bahamas, he had taken her from everything she had ever known. Her safety, security and her home. And, if Anna were alive today that NEVER would have happened.

Nathan Collins told me right at the outset of this interview that he did not like Howard K. Stern, for personal reasons and I have to say I cringed as in “where is this interview going to go”. I spent several delightful hours talking to Nathan Collins and found it refreshing he could say he did not like someone but still give a very objective interview.
Nathan Collins also told me he had not been contacted by anyone who has written a book about Anna Nicole Smith, and has never spoken with any of the many authors out there with books either off or on the record. He does feel Rita Cosby based her book on rumors and unreliable sources such as Jackie Hatten, and in his opinion rushed to get it published while the subject was still “hot” or in the public eye and that is perhaps why there are errors in the book. He has not read the book, and did not know that Patrick and Pol had written a book, as he was not contacted for that book either.
Because of pending litigation in Florida, New York, the Bahamas, etc., Nathan Collins did not wish to say anything on the record other then what is shared here in this article. So do not expect a lot of sensationalism but do expect I hope some real insight to Anna Nicole Smith’s last personal assistant and one of her insiders.
~About Anna Nicole Smith hiring her staff and personal assistants~
Nathan Collins met Anna Nicole Smith in a Gay Bar in Palm Springs through Anna Nicole Smith’s then personal assistant Kimmie. In fact, Nathan Collins said he was a tad miffed at Anna Nicole Smith the night she first came into the bar because the whole conversation in the bar stopped which means his tips plummeted. He chuckled softly with me at the memory of that.
Nathan like many of Anna Nicole Smith’s employees first became her friend and then began to work for her as Kimmie left. Kimmie asked Nathan to drive Anna Nicole back from Palm Springs that weekend and in fact he said Kimmie was the one that trained him slowly as a friend to just “baby-sit” Anna Nicole Smith at times while Anna was reading through her lines in the script Illegal Aliens. One weekend as Nathan was about to leave to go back to Palm Springs to work, Anna Nicole Smith begged him not to leave, they negotiated his salary and expenses and Anna Nicole called the bar he worked in and said “Nathan won’t be coming back”, thus started Nathan’s journey into the inner circle of Anna Nicole Smith.
Anna Nicole Smith hired people she liked and trusted, no background checks, no long interviewing, just building up that trust that is so illusive for a celebrity in Hollywood. Nathan Collins recounted that he had not even signed a non-disclosure agreement with Anna Nicole Smith for several months until Howard K. Stern realized there was not one in the files and Nathan was then asked to sign one and had no problem with that.
Anna Nicole Smith like to be in her pool and liked her beer warm, however he also says like many others Anna Nicole Smith was not always drunk or stoned.
His last contact with Anna Nicole Smith was in May 2006, after Daniel Smith had moved out and Nathan had left her employment when he text Anna “I love you”. He never heard back from Anna Nicole Smith but remained friends with Daniel until just a few weeks before Daniel Smith left for the Bahamas.

Anna Nicole Smith was never afraid to hug anyone or to truly care especially about children who had HIV, she understood this was not a “gay plague” and she was saddened about children who were born with HIV. Anna Nicole Smith kept that part of her life very private and did not cash in on it in her public image. At one event Nathan represented Anna Nicole Smith at the “Actors for Children with Autism”, she gave Nathan a $1,000.00 to spend at the event and sent Nathan with two of her personal paintings she had done and a dress to have raffled off to help these children.
~Who was the Real Anna Nicole Smith~
Defining who Anna Nicole Smith was as a person was easy for Nathan, he said anyone wanting to know the “real” Anna Nicole Smith should see Illegal Aliens and the character of Lucy, which is the closes to knowing the real Anna Nicole Smith the public could ever have. After talking to Nathan I must admit I have put that movie on my “must buy list”.
Anna Nicole Smith was a vegetarian the last couple of years of her life, Nathan said. She loved Grapefruit, tomato soup with LOTS of milk and butter in fact it could not be creamy enough for Anna. She loved pickles, grilled cheese sandwiches, and like Elvis Presley, she loved peanut butter and banana sandwiches. One of Anna Nicole Smith’s best memories she shared with Nathan was having Larry Birkhead take her picture outside of Graceland at the gates; she was a great fan of Elvis Presley. When I asked Nathan about Anna’s love for KFC, he chuckled and said that there were many runs to KFC but it was for “Sugar Pie, Puppy, Frankie and Marilyn”, Anna’s four dogs who loved fried chicken and it was bought, brought home and de-boned for her dogs.
Anna wanted to be a mother, she wanted more children and even discussed adopting some children, and she wanted a daughter but Nathan did not remember any “hope chest” that Virgie Arthur has recounted on shows. Anna Nicole loved being a mother that was simply part of who Anna Nicole was.
Anna Nicole Smith was a good singer and if the fans would have taken her seriously and not just another “ditsy dumb blonde” Nathan feels, she could have made it as a country singer. He added that she had ambitions to make a recording of her favorite country songs.
Anna Nicole Smith never got over the public making a “joke of her” that hurt her deeply, in fact when Anna Nicole Smith attended a roast of Pamela Anderson, some of the speakers made some jokes about Anna Nicole Smith and that hurt. Anna Nicole Smith loved horror films as did Nathan and they spent many a night watching them, in one of the ones they watched there was suddenly a mention of Anna Nicole Smith making a jab of fun at her, Anna Nicole Smith became serious and turned off the movie. She hated being the butt of public ridicule and wanted people to see that she was funny, but she was also smart. Nathan said you don’t make it in Hollywood without being street smart and Anna Nicole Smith had that going for her. She was in control of her life and demanding, and once she wrote someone off, they were out of her life. Normally this was because something would make Anna Nicole Smith not trust a person and sadly Hollywood is full of people that take advantage of celebrities, Anna Nicole Smith was not exempt from that.
Nathan said Anna Nicole Smith was very generous with her employees, but also feared any of them could and would steal from her. Anna Nicole was a very complex person in that the things she trusted you with could come back to bite you with her. Nathan also said no one was better at the “silent treatment” then Anna was when she was mad at one of her “inner circle”.
Nathan did share one thing with me I found fascinating not following Anna Nicole Smith in life, her bedroom was like a modern day “panic room” we all read about the rich and famous needing. All of the security cameras throughout the house and grounds came into that room as a feed into Anna Nicole Smith’s TV.
~About Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern~
Nathan only had a few comments about Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern because of pending litigations. One that Nathan Collins is gay and Larry Birkhead never made a pass at him or any other gay man in Nathan’s presence. Nathan also said he found it almost humorous about Howard K. Stern having a sexual relationship with Larry Birkhead. Howard K. Stern is not gay, or if he is he is a very deep closet gay man. Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern have a past together, but it is not as gay lovers, Nathan stated.
Nathan also said that he emailed Larry Birkhead the day before Anna Nicole Smith died, and then talked to Larry Birkhead the day of Anna’s death. Then like everyone who was close to Anna Nicole, Nathan’s phone ranged repeatedly that day as all who knew her was shocked that such a presence as Anna Nicole Smith was gone. Like many, he feared that Anna Nicole Smith would not survive long without her beloved son, and Nathan did say that he had hoped that Dannielynn’s middle name of “Hope” would give hope to Anna Nicole Smith and pull her through that terrible loss in her life when Daniel died.

Bobby Trendy was never Anna Nicole Smith’s friend, he was hired by the E channel to be outrageous to decorate the Studio City home, nothing more, it was to be outrageous and then Bobby Trendy was to be fired, it was all for the show, in Nathan’s opinion there was never any real closeness there. Nathan added proudly, asking if I had known that Anna Nicole’s reality show was the top rated reality show. I had heard that but I could tell that Nathan still felt pride in Anna for that accomplishment.
Nathan also told me that Jackie Hatten appearing on every show she could get on after Anna Nicole Smith died he found tasteless. Nathan recounted to me that Jackie had been out of Anna’s life for years at Anna’s death and he had never heard of any “real closeness” between them for years, probably not since Jackie’s brother Mark Hatten was arrested. Certainly, Nathan did not remember Jackie being Daniel’s godmother as she portrayed to the world she was after Anna Nicole Smith’s death.
I asked Nathan about the now infamous MTV award show that everyone talks about Anna Nicole Smith being out of it. Although Nathan was not with Anna Nicole Smith at that time he did directly ask Kimmie about that and “how out of it” Anna was. Kimmie said that Anna was cold sober that night. That led Nathan and I to talk about the seizures, the insomnia, the anxiety meds for public appearances, which in turn led to the statement that it was feasible to Nathan that what America saw that night was not a drunk or stoned Anna Nicole Smith. What America saw that night was in fact a woman who had an extra dose of seizures meds, a seizure the night before which left her drained and that alone would have slurred her speech in Nathan’s opinion. Add to that the lack of sleep and the anxiety med of Xanax and that could very well have been what America saw and wrote off as Anna Nicole Smith stoned and drunk one more time.
Nathan was with Anna Nicole Smith at Ford Shelley’s home in November – December 2005. Ford Shelley and G. Ben Thompson were rich but the one thing Anna Nicole Smith had they did not have was she was a celebrity and they wanted that in their life. They knew how to treat Anna Nicole Smith like a child, like a princess and she always responded to that, he feels like the infamous clown video is way over stated, and agrees with the statements in the interview of Tara Grinna by Art Harris, that Riley is one spoiled kid. However, Nathan is quick to add that the Thompson/Shelley families were gracious hosts the whole time that he was there with Anna and Daniel Smith and Howard K. Stern. The two families bought Anna Nicole Smith lavish gifts for both her birthday and for Christmas. Anna, as Nathan remembers loved the way they treated her, especially for her birthday. Gina Shelley was always in the kitchen cooking “yummy dishes”, and they were gracious hosts while their guests were there, even letting Nathan drive their BMW’s for errands. Nathan added that Ford Shelley kept a well stock bar, which Nathan was grateful for on that almost two months extended stay.
No matter how rich G. Ben Thompson and Ford Shelley were, they did not have the Celebrity that courting Anna Nicole Smith into their lives would give them. He thinks that had a lot to do with Ford Shelley finding a country that would allow Anna Nicole Smith to be the only “parent” of Dannielynn, just as she had always been the “only parent” of Daniel Smith. He has mused on why they turned on a friend like Larry Birkhead to court Anna Nicole Smith’s favor, and the money can’t buy you a celebrity is the only explanation he had for that relationship.
The true nature of the Shelly/Thompson “falling out” with Anna Nicole Smith and Howard K. Stern is still unclear to Nathan, and he has never talked to them about what caused this falling out. Nathan quickly added that he did not want all that he [Nathan] said in the interview to sound negative about the Shelley/Thompson trip. During that two months Nathan said that the families did try to make them [Anna, Daniel, Nathan and Howard] feel as if “we were all very wanted and welcomed friends”.
Nathan did recall Daniel Smith getting drunk while at Ford Shelley’s home, so drunk he went out into the street and begin to yell and drew attention to him self. I did not ask Nathan about Daniel drinking at 19 and who supplied the booze. Perhaps that was part of the well stock bar that Ford Shelley so graciously provided during that visit.
~About handling Anna Nicole Smith’s money~
If the world were going to hold Howard K. Stern responsible for handling Anna Nicole Smith’s money or writing checks on her account, then the world would have to hold Anna Nicole Smith’s personal assistants responsible as well. Just as Kimmie had handled paying the staff, the bills, running to the ATM, Nathan also did that for Anna Nicole Smith. He seemed amazed that was a big part of Ms. Cosby’s book. Nathan recounted remembering he had brought just a few checks to S. C. for what he thought would be a much shorter vacation then two months, and ran out of checks and had to call a neighbor, Wes, to send more checks. During that trip as with the time Nathan worked for Anna Nicole Smith, he had access to her checks, her debit card, and her ATM number that was just part of being Anna Nicole Smith’s personal assistant. Nathan appeared to be truly amazed that was even a subject to be “argued” over and was unaware that was one of the main claims in some of the books being written, including Ms. Cosby’s book, these days. He shared that when he called Wes to send Nathan more checks, he also got a detailed email from Wes explaining how to care for turtles, Daniel Smith’s current pets.
I asked Nathan about the allegations that Ford Shelley had made that Anna Nicole Smith was “broke”; he was sincerely confused by the question and statement by Ford Shelley. Nathan said he never knew how much money Anna Nicole might have had in the bank at any one time, but certainly no check ever bounced he wrote on her account, and the debit and ATM never rejected him for funds asked while conducting financial transactions for Anna Nicole Smith. After a few moments of thought Nathan said, “Anna Nicole had a very lucrative and ongoing contract with Trim Spa, so he found that a tad surprising when told that Ford Shelley made the statement”.

The California federal court that has the Anna Nicole Smith tort case against the Pierce Marshall Estate has now Dismissed Mark Hatten’s attempt to grab any of that money.
The judge dismissed the case stating the court did not have jurisdiction over the Estate of Pierce Marshall. I wonder if Hatten will be making a road trip to Houston Texas to try to collect from Pierce Marshall Estate, my bet is he won’t. However, he might, remember Virgie Arthur and Mark Hatten became pen pals after Daniel Smith’s death, and Jackie has stated on interviews that she and Virgie Arthur were very close. Perhaps he will drop by New York to visit Rita Cosby; after all, he was a source for her blond ambitious book.
In November 2007, the court dismissed Mark Hatten’s case against Howard K. Stern and everyone in California for conspiring to put him in jail. In a Memorandum of Law explaining how the court reach that conclusion it said that Mark Hatten had never proved there was any conspiracy to put him in prison and so the suit had no merit.
Both rulings by federal judges in California will be put in the infamous Mark Hatten download section.
Out of three federal cases, the last two at grabbing attention proved to be just that with the federal court shutting down Hatten at each move he attempts to make booty off baby Dannielynn.
In another bizarre even Hatten filed a change of address on the one federal suit still pending against the warden of the prison where Hatten was incarcerated after being found guilty of assaulting Anna Nicole Smith’s neighbor and threatening Anna Nicole Smith. Seem Hatten has moved to S. C. Could he be visiting “friends”.
Looking at the docket report of Anna Nicole Smith’s probate in California, Mark Hatten no longer has an attorney listed to be notified, he is just now one more “claimant” to get in line and “prove” he was done wrong and Dannielynn should pay him.
Why do you think Hatten moved to S. C.? Do you think we have heard the last of Mark Hatten and Jackie Hatten? By the way, anyone seen or interviewed either of the Hatten duo lately?

I believe for me, we will learn a lot this week during the few days left of the Inquest. Will the O’Quinn machine pay all of the expenses of Virgie Arthur, a family member and those “two unknown women with Virgie Arthur”? It appears, that by going to the Bahamas in Oct., Nov. and Dec. that the women known as Kerry and Einstein are now legally considered, “Limited Pubic Figures” which is defined as a private citizen who has voluntarily thrust him or herself into the public eye over a particular controversy to influence the resolution of a public issue. Further as “limited public figures” both women might have to prove ‘actual malice’ to win any libel case if in fact they ever filed one on the Bahamas news coverage over any of this or the U. S. limited coverage for that matter. In my research I have found that at least one of these two women was captured on tape, although looking down, caught by Splash in October. In November, both women were shown on a Splash tape, and the one from Oct. did not look down or try to hide her face in the films, during the Inquest. However, they are both definitely part of Virgie Arthur’s “team”. We have Lincoln Bain saying both women were present for November and December with both women openly admitting they were there in December.
Going by the blogging of what they do and they have certainly been willing to be photographed even going so far as to release photographs of themselves in December 2007 while in the Bahamas at the cemetery with Virgie Arthur and at the Film festival “hunting down Howard K. Stern” to harass him it appears. They seem to have bragged that was part of their “mission” in December while in the Bahamas, to seek Howard K. Stern out at the showing of Anna Nicole Smith’s last movie and to harass him. Who gets fun out of that, in a country of beautiful white sandy beaches and so clear beautiful ocean water?
We know the Magistrate has barred all American media from the court and asked all “bloggers” to identify them selves at the beginning of the November hearing. Did Kerry and Einstein do that by holding up their hands? From first hand accounts, it would appear they did not, but also that they did not blog in the courtroom beginning in November. They waited until breaks and after court to blog out their reports, unlike what occurred in October before the Magistrate learned of bloggers in his court. Anyone know why they are saying they were only there in December and not the other two times when they were either caught on camera and/or reported by the local media, including Lincoln Bain? It does not look to me as if they just “bumped into Virgie Arthur”, in the lobby of the Hilton in December and then became fast friends. Why were these two women picked out of all of the Virgie Arthur’s supporters to be treated to trips to the Bahamas, all expenses paid, which I am willing to bet will show up on the O’Quinn’s firm ledgers of expenses related to the Bahamas case. I believe one of these women have stated they were on a family vacation and they paid all of their own expenses, my bet is that will not prove to be the reality.
Did they in fact stalk and harass Howard K. Stern at the film festival? If so, I wonder what the Magistrate will have to say to them if they are at the Inquest on Monday, January 28. I would think harassing someone, a stranger; you had been in court with that day; by following them to the film festival that night would be frowned upon especially if they have not advised the court of their status of bloggers getting the word out as fast as possible to other orchestrated bloggers in the U. S. It is my opinion there has been orchestrated blogging by the O’Quinn machine, right down to the false Houston Chronicle Article released that Howard K. Stern’s makes reference to in his jurisdictional deposition.
These two women in their blogging put down the Bahamas, the Bahamas court system and even the cemetery where Daniel and Anna Nicole Smith are buried. Perhaps they will not be at the Inquest this Monday – Wednesday, and if so might give us a look into how much money O’Quinn is putting out on the Bahamas venture before moving on to California.
Here is a list of witnesses yet to be heard from with a few notes as to who might and might not show up. If you look at this, it appears that they could complete the Inquest on Monday, or Tuesday at the latest. Could that be why McCabe said in interview with Splash, they will go to California next and are also looking a Civil suits? Doing research, it would appear the only civil suit that might even pass the smell test is against Dr. Kapoor and Ray Martino, not Howard K. Stern. If they can’t get Howard K. Stern arrested for something, anything, then the defamation suits stand so when and what in California is your guess?
Per the Bahamas Journal on December 13, the Office of the Attorney General was unable to produce seven witnesses – some of them expected to deliver key evidence into the death of Daniel Smith, the son of the late American celebrity Anna Nicole Smith.

16. Nurse Jancy Cota - helped pull the bed into the hallway with Nadine Carey but is NOT on the witness list.
17. D/INSP. Cleophas Cooper - – lead detective in the investigation (testified December 11, about Anna’s statements about why Daniel had been kicked out of her home for verbally being abusive)
18. Vickie Lynn Marshall Statement - (read by Cooper who interviewed Anna Nicole Smith after the death of her son) But some believe there is a second statement to be read in regards to police interviews.
19. Howard K. Stern - still trying to protect the right of privacy in death that Daniel Smith deserves, can he add anything else to this tragedy?
The Bahamas Journal December 13 article, the AG’s office is now working to make contact with the last few witnesses on its list to have them come to court when the inquest resumes on January 28.
Since the matter commenced last month [November 2007, per the article], 26 witnesses were called to give testimony in the inquest that aims to determine how and why the young man died.
The AG’s office is also working to have either toxicologist Dr. Robert Middleberg or Dr. Lee Hern come to the Bahamas to shed further light on their written reports.
Dr. Middleberg is the laboratory director at National Medical Services in Pennsylvania, while Dr. Hern holds a similar post at the Miami Dade County Medical Examiner Department.
I am going to restore the list to the forums under the “Daniel Smith topic”, including who has testified about what they said up to date of this last article in the Bahamas Journal.
In addition, all of the Mark Hatten’s suits and the papers will be up today for you to download, including his newest suit against the Estate of Pierce Marshall. Yep the Hattens just keep on giving whether we ever want to read either of their names again.
I am going to do the very best that I can to get the debunking of Chapter 13 up tomorrow to read as we wait for what happens at the Inquest tomorrow and how many days it is going to take to wrap up the few witnesses left.

Let’s hold our breath, have confidence that the blog will not go down and the main part of the site will be updated, and back like magic in the morning. Ken will put a page up that says the main part of the site is down for upgrades and maintenance, and remember 12 hours is a guess, it could take less time or it could take a couple of more hours then anticipated. The emails for all of us will not be affected so if you feel panic about the site, email one of us, as all of the moderators will have updates throughout tonight. IF the blog goes down as well, it too is backed up.

If you want a specific older file let us know and we will move it.
We will continue this way through this week and hope the server gets things fixed, the owner of the host company we are with is putting in long hours trying to get ALL of the sites he hosts up and running.
However, if this problem is NOT fixed and stable by Dec. 3 we will move this site to a new server so it is working correctly WAY before the Inquest starts again.
