Michael Trope has hit the grand slam home run of Family Law. He hit the ball right out of the park with the bases loaded for his client, Lisa Kerkorian. …Folks there is always a backside to these stories and this one is no different. It was back in ….2008 when Michael Trope presented his “Motion to set aside” all the nasty stuff that victimized Lisa Kerkorian. As some of you will remember when she had Kolodny and Anteau as her lawyers pretty much all of what she said on the phone was being shared with Kirk Kerkorian’s lawyer Christensen …Anthony Pellicano know who else through wiretaps… …and Terry Christensen lost his ability to practice law…disbarred….

…1. Lisa did not get a fair trial in 2002 because her lawyers were compromised with wire taps…..

2. Michael Trope was asking that everything be set aside as it was an “unfair” trial. And this was the only reasonable thing the court could do…a great position to take.

3. All previous evidence would have to be purged, tossed, thrown out, dumped…why? It was all obtained through illegal conduct…

4. …Kirk Kerkorian crew would not be allowed to present any new evidence and all of the other stuff would be tossed…

…. Now, for the big turn, a change of direction, we got a fresh attitude. I wrote on May 12, 2010 that the Judge orders lotsa bacon for Lisa Da K lawyers.” That day, it is my opinion that Joe Mannis, not being anyone’s fool saw what the exposure could be for his client and began to chart a new course. The actions and comments that day by Judge Steinberg made it clear that it was not going to be business as usual when it came to Lisa Kerkorian and her lawyer, Michael Trope. The other side representing Kirk Kerkorian had committed serious crimes and…

…The deal has been floating around it looks like since July 8, 2010, my birthday! The agreement was finalized and signed… …October 22, 2010. Representing Mr. Kirk Kerkorian is none other than one of the biggest hitters in family law, Joe Mannis. When it comes to seasoned lawyers talk to Joe Mannis. Keep in mind, Mannis represented one of the richest men in the world on this divorce/support issue. Talk about Titans of DIVORCE, here you have two of the best in the game, Michael Trope and Joe Mannis!

UPDATE ADDITION: The settlement, which provides $100,000 a month until Kira turns 19 or until she graduates from high school, no longer is a full-time student or no longer is living with her mother full-time. After that, the settlement says, the child support will be reduced to $50,000 a month.

The agreement also provides for Kerkorian to pay expenses including school costs, equestrian expense, clothing, housing, travel, hobbies, automobiles, food, beauty treatments, tutoring, entertainment, parties and pets.

The AP reports that Lisa was married to Kerkorian for only 28 days and admitted that their daughter, Kara was not his biological daughter, but Kerkorian has loved her and been involved in her life as her “dad” since day one.

Wonder how much the Court awarded Michael Trope in attorney fees? Perhaps John J. Nazarian will get that scoop and share it with us as well.

Tap Tap Tap Tap me, whatever pain or harm a wiretap can bring is nothing compared to the financial rewards that can land in the victim’s bank accounts. There is not one doubt in my mind that I was “listened to” during the days of Anthony Pellicano’s reign of terror. …To think of all that money slipping through my hands only because my government got hoodwinked by a self-taught private investigator in the art and wizardry of wiretapping and the storage of information. All at the hands of a computer geek and “The Pelican.”

I have heard through the grapevine MILLIONS were paid to make one “victim” go away, and even a couple of lesser victims got more than they could have ever dreamed of. However, there are people in the world that a million, 2 million, 3 million is a little like tipping the parking attendant a $ 10 bill: big deal for that parking guy, ain’t shit for the guy giving it…very similar here folks.

And in some people’s circles, when you put your ass on the line and “stay the course” it is expected that you and those close to you will be taken care of. That is real old school if you get what I am saying here folks. …And in the end what is a an old law career worth anyways, 1 million, 2 million, 3 million…well I think you are getting the point here. …

…Very rich divorce lawyers battling it out in the civil courts and one is guilty as hell and the other is a victim. The problem is the next payout will not be fast and easy as this last one. Damn, Tap Tap Tap away…as it is so often stated, the rich get richer, and the rest of us? We at least sleep well, right fellas?

Well, one shoe fell this morning in Federal Court in Los Angeles: Terry Christensen was sentenced. No surprises here folks, Judge Dale Fischer aka Judge Sledge (as in hammer) started slow and built to a smack down that was no surprise, 3 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. So much for paying those idiots who suggested to the court 10 months house arrest and $30,000 fine! I also noticed it got hotter as she spoke, as if the bowels of hell were opening (and this is just a warm up for the Pelican and his crew. not looking too good Paisano!). This morning’s proceedings had all the feelings of a funeral, those of us in attendance got to witness a man’s career being thrown into a pit and dirt being shoveled in on top, and the final shovel would be the sentence given by Judge Fischer. I was not happy as I have been playing the P.I. Game in this town for many years and I as well as many others know the truth….I have said this before, if J. Edgar Hoover had been alive Mr. Christensen would have had a lot of company sitting with him…and the others had been doing what Mr. Christensen has been charged with (2 counts) for years! YEARS, not several weeks, like he did! And I know that it made no difference, steal a roll of dimes from a bank or a bag full of Benjamins it is all a crime, I do get it. Do you get me and my point? Alright, Ok, I have heard the tapes and yes there is obviously material there to come to the conclusion that the jury and many others have come to. However, I do know all the players in High Stakes divorce cases in this town and even Higher Stakes civil litigation. And there are several lawyers in this “play pen” that must have just been taking massive doses of Imodium AD people. Oh sure, much of what Anthony Pellicano recorded is gone or cannot be opened by our government in Quantico, Va. Can you imagine if the Feds had got it right the first time?

Mr. Christensen was there with his wife and his son Christopher, and many more supporters than detractors. The defense knew exactly what was coming and went through the motions. I have heard all the thoughts as to the defense I was there and I don’t think a better defense could have been made. Those GD tapes, that was the burn, and again for what? At the end of the day what did Pellicano make better? Save a few million for a rich old guy? For someone who was and still is worth billions? Saunders and Lally and several of the agents involved were also there. Saunders too was on top of his game, this for the prosecutors is a glorious day and that is what we, as tax payer, pay them as prosecutors to do, prosecute, and that is what these two Federal Prosecutors did, they have no reason to feel guilty. Lally, Suanders, all of the agents did a great job, I just wish that they would have dug a little deeper…what they got was a minnow, all the real big ‘uns got away.

One of the highlights of the morning was when Judge Fischer asked if any of the “victims” wanted to speak. Well, just as there is morning and night to follow here comes none other than Stephen Kolodny. There are some things Kolodny is not going to miss, breakfast, lunch, dinner and the opportunity to make his presence known…

…Also present was Mr. Kerkorian’s security person, a nice guy and he always dresses very well, no surprise there, right. The shaved head, nice suit, nice glasses and a “look.” He and I could have been separated at birth! (Kerkorian and all that is related to his name was a big part of this case). Well, when Stephen got up to address the court, the look that Kerkorian’s guy gave Stephen was right out of the book of “if looks could kill,” or was it more of a look of “enough already”…I am thinking more like a scowl! That moment was worth being there for. And as I was outside taking notes, I thought I heard Mr. Kolodny make a comment to a group that “Nazarian was taking notes,”…

Anita Busch, one of the shortest letters and this is the woman that brought the Pelican crashing down to earth! I was with Ms. Busch in the early days of this terrible crime drama…I saw first hand what it did to her, no we are not best friends but I do recall offering to sleep in her doorway to help her feel safe. I also remember the battle she was facing in trying to save her cat and think what you will about Anita, she is a very kind soul….she wanted none of this. And when many of these idiots look back on what they did, was it worth it? I don’t think so. All I can say is that the only revenge will be a financial one and this is one victim that all the others should mention in their prayers. And she was right on many issues that we discussed in the early days of this (like the cops’ involvement…I was wrong, again!)

Monika Zsibrita and Chris Rock…there is some funny stuff here and I guess that she, too, was a victim, and all I can say here is sometimes the player gets played. I was never a Chris Rock fan and I will never be one, he too deserves whatever this ends up costing him…..again, there were other alternatives to what he did.

Well, the train is coming around the bend and judgment day is fast approaching…and the letters of “suggestions” for the wish list of the victims of the Pelican and others! Andyes, for sure there are those who wish that Terry Christensen, too, will be crucified along with the big feathered one and his cronies…aka the “The R.I.C.O. Boys.”

We are posting the letters that were written, very nice letters, well-written for the most part, and all very politely “hang the bastards” in tone. Click on the names for pdf’s of each letter.

Jane Doe #8 one that I felt terrible, really terrible during the trial to think that after what happened to her, there was a police sgt. helping her attacker get away with the crime…..she touches on the fact that this went on for so long with the knowledge of many, “nothing short of terrorism”. And she mentions Danny Davis and Ron Richards as the lawyers for John G. Jones…”antics” is used and it is a good word, this girl was a victim…and the DA could not even help her!

I have to say I think this is one of the most touching articles I have read, it allows all to look into what the victims felt about the police sergeant helping Pellicano which really left many victims with no where to go. Mr. Nazarian even apologizes to one he had contact with for not believing the person or how bad all of this was for these people.

Well you know what they say, just plan a nice late morning swim and the phone will ring! It did I got my first call from John Connolly, and then Robert Iafolla called and told me that the jury was ready and get to the courthouse by noon — it was already after 11:30 AM. I was out of the pool and at the courthouse by 12:01PM, not bad!

The place was jumping, the guards were milling around and the players were all there. Lally and Saunders were very quiet, almost like a couple of big dogs who had just treed the neighbor’s cat and were getting ready to take a snooze under the tree and wait…and wait they did! All the games had been played and the Jury had done their job, and at 12:15 PM Judge Fischer began to read Pellicano’s charges, all 77 of them…on 76 of them he was found guilty! And worst of all was the RICO act…talk about some bad fish! Pellicano just sat there, at one time tried to smile but remained very stoic, almost like he could not move. He looked around the courtroom and was almost comatose. It took almost 1/2 an hour for the judge to read his charges and it was very slow and almost “wah wah.” It was all melding together for me. His wife Kat sat and listened and was also very stoic and looked straight ahead. Could it be 6-7 years and maybe 20 more for RICO? The Pelican is so done, but he still has not said a word and appeared to find all of this entertaining. What does he feel about Omerta, I guess it worked for him!

Note: I was told that he blew through almost all of this money and never saved any money for his one child, who is not well. What about the oath to provide for your family?

Next in line was my “buddy” the Sarge, Mark Arneson. It was the worst scenario for a cop, Guilty of RICO and 44 other charges, that could be…20 plus years in prison! It will have to be in “protective custody” or he won’t have a prayer. Yup, it will be double the hell in prison, a dirty cop and all the rest won’t be good for him! His wife looked as if the jury had just smacked her…it was sad, but what did she think? The jury saw and heard what we had and it was “Guilty” all the way…Da Sarge did it all and got caught. “Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time!” The other problem for the Sarge is that this judge is going to make an example of this dirty copper who saw “nothing wrong” with what he did, hell everyone does it…NOT!

Ray Turner got the smack down too, RICO and GUILTY of 14 of the 18 charges against him…he too seemed pretty much resigned to the fact that this was not going to be a good day, Happy Ray was looking a little sad!

One of the more amusing verdicts was for Lil’ Abner Nicherie. LMAO, after watching him for weeks taking his nice long naps and coming in late he was wide awake today, yes he was, as the judge said….GUILTY, you nitwit! No, she did not say “nitwit,” that was me! He put his face in his hands and just looked like he got smacked with a dead Pelican! This grifter already is a convicted felon, and now this? He is so F%@#ed. This judge is going to lay chubby away…you watch when she sticks him with the full sentencing guidelines…but for that we have to wait until September.

Here is my prediction: based on what we witnessed today, Terry N. Christensen (the only lawyer to get caught in the Pelican net) better make a deal! He does not want to go forward with a trial based on the evidence against him. He is right there talking with the Pelican and he is in as deep as he can get! He is rich and will be rich when he gets out of prison, people are also saying that Kerkorian will take care of him…..Hmmm!

Lots of reporters waiting for the verdicts and the jurors outside. I was asked what it was like in the courtroom, all I could think of was what a turkey farm must look like during Thanksgiving…it was a slaughter! Feathers everywhere — not turkey feathers but Pelican feathers!

Anthony Pellicano met his match this morning in court when Ms. Jude Green showed up. She was dressed very nicely and her hair was flawless, a class act here folks! Her husband was one Leonard Green, he was involved in the Rite Aid fiasco and the loss of millions. And he was in the throes of a messy divorce and the attorney representing him was Bert Fields and other familiar names in this trial at different times. Wasser and Stephen Kolodny were all mentioned this morning and it was not nice! Ms. Green told the court that Kolodny had told her, “Tony Pellicano runs family law” and “no judge can help you!” and we heard things like, “Pellicano is on the case, watch your back!”…or I guess you could hang up on him! What an asshole he tried to be to this woman, as if victimizing her once was not enough. But this is one tough lady and she gave it back with both barrels, and for a lack of better terms, she pulled his plug!

The law firm of Weston and Nachshin was mentioned a great deal today, and it was all bad news. Ms. Green spoke about a meeting about a settlement conference and her lawyer was none other than Robert Nachshin. Ms. Green describes seeing Mr. Nachshin “red faced,” “flushed” and “out of control!” When she asked him what was going on he told her, “he would speak to me when he got back to his office!” Well Anthony Pellicano had met with Nachshin and told him, “there are easy ways to make money and hard ways to make money”…”I will settle your case.” Ms. Green told the court that her attorney told her that she could settle the case with Pellicano or Dan Jaffe (then her husband’s attorney)! She refused and fired her attorneys on the spot! As Pellicano was trying to be cute and confront Ms. Green, she reloaded and told him, “I want nothing to do with any lawyer who works with you!” WOW! And her voice never lost its tone either!

… Batter up and it was Garry Shandling’s former girlfriend Linda Doucett’s time in the witness box, and she was a little more nervous and again, it’s understandable. These two women are victims of Anthony Pellicano and the Los Angeles Police Department as well as the phone company and all the rest! Event the “Immunity” people did these two ladies wrong! Linda was dressed nicely in a black suit and white blouse and her hair too was flawless…both these women look as if they spend time with my pal, Jose Eber, they were both gorgeous to begin with! And both strong and impressive. Linda was a little unsure as to the dates and times…so what, I can’t remember what I did yesterday never mind years ago! The bottom line is that these women were fucked with BIG TIME and they do remember that very vividly! Linda came across as very credible and with a sincere tone about her. She could not see the tiny writing on the police background runs with the information that Arneson had provided that “side-buster” Pellicano…she wears glasses and did not have them, but her testimony was right on when she told what this piece of shit did to her! She told about speaking with FBI Agent Ornelas and also of speaking to a reporter with the L.A.Times, and that very night, she gets the famous late night call! “that night I get a phone call and the caller asked was I Linda?” and then the caller says, “You talk to Stan or the paper you won’t be seeing your son!” The caller also made it clear that he knew what school her son went to! Can you imagine as a single mother with a child home late at night and getting a call like that! It was classic Pellicano, this fuck never left the office and appears to love the telephone! However, along with “fish” and “immunity,” telephones may also be something that he may soon not like the sound of either!
