Robert Jakucs and William Cox will be discussing two or three top cases they worked as partners while at the L. A. P. D. as homicide detectives that have been totally adjudicated.
John Nazarian with Robert Jakucs and William Cox worked on some cases in the world of a celebrity P. I. in Hollywood, Bob and Bill will discuss the meticulous job John did with two of his favorite go to guys on his cases, what were the cases, and how did they remain friends after working with John.
If there is time they will also talk about congress not working out a budget in the “super committee” which then pushed the have to button that the defense department had to make deep cuts; and now to go forward President Obama’s decision to save the boots on the ground and cutting some of the U. S. Marine Corps troops and spending the money on drones in the future for the protection from war for the U. S. and as a first strike and like have been used to get Osama Bin Laden and keeping Gaddafi pinned down in Libya.

The world waits for the Jury Verdict to come in next week in the Dr. Conrad Murray Trial in the Involuntary Manslaughter charge in the death of Michael Jackson.
What is Dr. Murray and his lead defense attorney Edward Chernoff thinking and doing today, waiting for the jury to come back perhaps as early as tomorrow with a verdict.
Here is the jury instructions for you to read through and decide how tough is this going to be for this jury.
Straight Talk with John J Nazarian guests tonight are Criminal Defense attorney Adam Braun, who has been both a prosecutor and now one of the top criminal attorneys in California. Adam Braun can tell us what the Deputy D. A. David Walgren and his team or doing and thinking today about the upcoming week. Braun can also tell us what it is like as a defense lawyer waiting for the verdict to come in and Braun can give us a pretty good guess as to what Dr. Conrad Murray is doing this weekend except for just praying.
Adam Braun will be joined by two retired homicide detectives who were also partners for a time with the L. A. P. D, Robert Jakucs and William Cox. They can share what the detectives are doing this weekend now that months and months of work is complete and it is just a waiting game at this point.
The radio broadcast will be embedded here soon after it airs live at 7 PM PST – 10 PM EST
Adam H. Braun, Esq.
One of the best criminal defense lawyers in California. Braun is the Principal at Law Offices of Adam H. Braun and was a Federal Prosecutor at the United States Attorney’s Office for over 6 years. The Princeton University graduate represented Dr. Khristine Eroshevich during the lead up to the Anna Nicole Smith trial. Braun was the attorney for one of Anthony Pelicanno’s co-defendants. Braun comes from one of the highest profile families of brilliant criminal attorneys.

Note from Ken and Rose Turner Because so many of you have asked here goes:
John J. Nazarian does not own any part of Rose Speaks.com nor will he ever. Rose Speaks.com is a labor of love that came to be because those here saw a grave terrible miscarriage of justice being done to a man none of us knew. Rose Speaks.com does not own any part of Desperate Exes.com or any other site belonging to John J. Nazarian.
Many of you have noted that Ken has not been on the blog hardly at all for a few months. Ken has opened his own company, studied hard, and then got the chance of a lifetime to represent John J Nazarian on many levels and endeavors. Ken got these chances from hard work nothing less and nothing more. I know that most of you really like Ken and wish him and the others that are part of K N Turner and Associates only the best in their upcoming endeavors.
Straight Talk with John J Nazarian‘s show today is about the difference in being a police officer today as oppose to 30 – 40 years ago. From what happened as the choke hold became forbidden to police to restrain a suspect to the world of taser guns, “batons” (political correctness for billy clubs), cameras and audio on almost every police officer in big cities as well as coming to small towns across the U. S.
John’s guests are retired homicide detectives Robert Jakucs and William Cox and retired Vice detective James Freeman all from the L.A.P.D.

James Freeman retired as a detective with the L.A.P.D. in 1999 from Vice after 25 years. James Freeman always knew he wanted to be a police officer and in 1969 joined the Law Enforcement Explorer Scout program at age 16. In 1971 Mr. Freeman became a Los Angeles Police civilian employee as a Police Cadet at age 18 and was assigned full time at the Hollywood Division Jail. In 1974 just 3 weeks after turning 21, detective Freeman was appointed as a Los Angeles Police Officer and graduated the academy 4 months later. In 1974 Freeman was assigned to Foothill Division Patrol as a uniform officer where he completed probation and remained approximately two years. In 1976 Freeman was assigned to West Los Angeles Division Patrol. In 1978 Freeman was transferred to the Van Nuys Division Patrol where he worked as a training officer and senior lead training officer. During Freeman’s years at Van Nuys Division Freeman was also assigned to 2 tours of working undercover, operating and arresting street prostitution, porno and bookmaking suspects.
In 1988 Freeman was promoted to Detective and Assigned to Administrative Vice Division. Freeman conducted undercover booking investigations of criminal organizations that accepted more than one million dollars a week in illegal sports/horse racing wagers. Freeman conducted surveillance, electronic and intelligence gathering of criminal operations; instructed newly assigned vice officers at the Police Academy in how to conduct bookmaking investigations and writing search warrants; provided expert advice to division vice units and other police agencies; completed loans to Internal Affairs Division and Detective Headquarters Division. In 1997 Administrative Vice Division merged with Organized Crime Intelligence Division where Freeman stayed until his retirement in 1999.
With the latest headlines of police brutality, Nazarain’s guests will give their opinions and how being a police officer has evolved in the last 30 – 40 years.

The theme was running the same whether listening to Straight Talk with John J. Nazarian which airs at 4 PM PST; or Dr. Drew on HLN which airs on HLN at 9 PM EST and PST and 8 PM CST and MST. Appears the experts agrees this trial is a runaway, and the defense is changing daily as to what they are going to present as a reason for the overdose death of Michael Jackson.
We will embed shows on three days of each of the shows including my opinion on Straight Talk with John J. Nazarian this week.
Anesthesiologist on Michael Jackson trial: “Never abandon the patient”
Dr. John Dombrowski, an anesthesiologist and pain management specialist, appeared on Dr. Drew’s HLN show Tuesday night to discuss one of the most chilling moments of the Conrad Murray trial – the playing of an audio recording that contained Michael Jackson slurring his speech, which was allegedly taped by Dr. Murray. For many, that recording is proof that the King of Pop suffered from substance abuse. However, Dr. Murray alleges that he had no idea that other doctors were supplying Jackson with drugs, in his jaw-dropping statement to police.
Dombrowski said:
“When a patient comes to me in the operating room, I have to know every medication he or she is on, so I know how the anesthetic will interact with the individual.”
And ended the interview with another significant point:
“Any time you give anyone an anesthetic, you never leave the patient. You don’t say, ‘he self-administered – he drank it – went someplace else.’ I am always there in attendance to find out what goes on. You never abandon the patient at any time.”
Conrad Murray’s relationship with Michael Jackson: “You can’t be a physician and a friend”
On Wednesday night, Dr. Drew addressed the issue of a few other physicians who treated Jackson that have claimed to be friends with the superstar. Last week, we heard tapes of Dr. Conrad Murray being questioned by detectives. In that interview, Murray stated that Michael Jackson was his friend. Guest Dr. Mark Urman, cardiologist and board member of the American Heart Association explained that it’s “very easy to get enamored” with somebody who’s famous.
Dr. Mark Urman said that it’s all about boundaries:
“You have to make it clear, and I do this with all my patients, that there are certain things that are allowable [and] there are certain things that aren’t. Just because somebody is trying to press you into doing something, you know, is not right, you feel uncomfortable about it, and it’s not good medical practice. You’ve got to take a stand.”
Dr. Drew summed up his thoughts later in the show by stating:
“You can’t be physician and friend … it’s dangerous. Boundaries become unclear … and when people have a substance problem, that’s where it really goes off the rail.”
Last night on The Dr. Drew Show, guest host Ryan Smith and his panel of attorneys discussed the latest on the Conrad Murray trial. Now that the Defense is dropping its original claim that Michael Jackson swallowed a fatal dose of Propofol, the experts took a deeper look to determine whether or not they think the Defense’s case is crumbling right before our eyes!
Mark Eiglarsh, criminal defense attorney, explained that the Defense is losing the case by asking the Prosecution’s witnesses open-ended questions that highlight Murray’s guilt:
“Most of the highlights of this trial that are against Conrad Murray happen on cross-examination. You get in, you get out, you ask leading questions and you don’t give [the Prosecution's] experts another opportunity to just go all over your client and highlight why he’s guilty.”
Darren Kavinoky agreed, saying that the Defense should use cross-examination as an opportunity highlight Murray’s innocence:
“Actually, cross-examination is the Defense lawyer’s stock in trade. You get more points by cross-examining the other side’s witnesses than you ever do by putting on your own. The jurors always expect that your witnesses are going to be favorable to you. It’s the good stuff, those nuggets you get from the other guy’s witnesses that turn cases.”
What do you think? Could Conrad Murray really have been in the dark about the drugs other doctors were administering to Michael Jackson?
Was Conrad Murray overstepping his bounds by being Michael Jackson’s friend? Or does his friendship with Michael Jackson make the case that he would not want to murder a friend?
Does the Defense stand a chance in winning the case?
What do all you think about the latest news that Dr. Conrad Murray might serve any sentence under home arrest with an ankle bracelet?

The witnesses day four:
8. Robert William Johnson NONIN Medical makers of heart and oxygen level devices, like the finger one we all get when at a doctor’s visit.
9. Robert Russell, a patient of Dr. Murray’s in Las Vegas
10. Richard Senneff, Head EMT
11. Martin Blount EMT
12. Dr. Richelle Cooper ER Doctor at UCLA
The most important testimony today is from Richard Senneff, first EMT on the scene. His assesment was Michael Jackson was a chronically ill person, frail, very thin, could see his ribs, pale, eyes open and dry. He asked Dr Murray was there a DNR in place because of the IV attached to Jackson’s left thigh and that the EMT’s could not find a vein in either of Jackson’s arms they could get a needle into. Only allergy that Dr. Murray was aware of was Thorazine (look it up that was a WOW moment for me). The Dupty D. A. did direct this morning, the defense will resume after lunch. Richard Senneff and UCLA was ready to call it as deceased two times before 1:00 PM but Conrad would not allow them to.

Last night, on HLN which airs at 9 PM EST & PST and 8 PM CST and MST, Dr. Drew sat down for an EXCLUSIVE interview with Dr. Patrick Treacy, a cosmetic doctor who also treated Michael Jackson with, you guessed it, Propofol! Twice! Dr. Treacy defended his own use of the popular and powerful anesthetic, but completely dismissed the defense’s arguments of a “perfect storm” of powerful drugs having killed the King of Pop.
When Dr. Drew mentioned the defense’s argument that Michael Jackson might have taken his own life, Treacy ripped apart Murray’s defense:
“OK, if we look at the facts … why is propofol so popular with anesthesiologist? If you give injection of it, there is no antidote, but it only last four minutes and it wears off. If he took a 20 mil syringe himself, the most he can give himself a shot of is 200 milligrams, which would only keep him asleep for four minutes and he would wake up again. It is almost physically impossible he could have killed himself.”

Alberto Alvarez the head of Logistics Security for Michael Jackson when Jackson left his home for shopping, rehearsals, etc. He is the one that packed the bags and appears through cross examination did not call 911 the first time Dr. Conrad Murray asked him to. Through cross examination we are getting a sense of the length of time all of this happened.
I personally think the D. A. only charged what they felt they could prove which is why we have one count of Involuntary Manslaughter and not the other clutter charges that happened in the Anna Nicole Smith case that just confused the jury.
The above is three of ten criminal documents for you to read. These are the that will be used today and discussed on Straight Talk with John J. Nazarian today with his special guest William “Bill” Cox who in his career worked with and knew Deputy D. A. Walgren and lead detective on this case Orlando Martinez. Straight Talk with John J. Nazarian is on live at 4 PM PST – 7 PM PST and will be embedded into this article within 30 mins. of the live show.

The witnesses day three:
6. Alberto Alvarex Logistics Security for Michal Jackson’s trips to rehearsals, shopping etc.
7. Kai Chase Personal chef for Michael Jackson and his three children
Alberto Alvarez testified for the first time about a bottle of white milky substance at the bottom of an IV bag through Dr. Conrad Murray’s defense off and so Edward Chernoff came back with a vengeance to impeach the witness. After more than 18 years working as a private investigator in the arena of DIVORCE there is nothing I have not seen. We get hundreds of thousands of people coming to desperateexes.com either looking for help, trying to figure out what just happened or is what is happening to them ‘normal’. There is nothing ‘normal’ when two people who once loved and/or cared for each other are trying to gut each other like a pair of rainbow trout! Nothing at all! And sometimes they try to do it ‘pro per’ and most of the time they have DIVORCE lawyers or as they like to be called ‘Family Law’ specialists.
We will use ‘real’ words, I love the word ‘DIVORCE’, family law sounds like a pleasant experience. Folks none of this is going to be pleasant, maybe two or three times I have had clients who realized what time it was and did the right thing. What you ask is the right thing? You have ten dollars and you take five dollars and the other side gets five dollars. Otherwise the ten dollars goes like this, your lawyer will take $4.00 and the other lawyer will take $4.00 and some lucky private investigator will get $1.50. I have made this as simple as I can and yes I have seen this done with millions of dollars and yes everyone was thrilled, that is the lawyers and me!
The subject of these articles will be based on real people going through a real day in court. No one has ever accused me of mincing words and if it is a pig I am calling it just that, a pig. America is a ‘melting pot’ and along with that pot is some cultural habits that don’t change because some of these people now live in the U.S. You can see this horse crap in our civil courts and our criminal courts. So I hope that my perspective will help women and men who have decided to take the plunge and DIVORCE each other. Nazarian and Associates thanks RoseSpeaks.com for their interest in these observations from a courtroom in America, sure every state is different but there is very common denominators when comes to ‘screwing each other’ in the game known as DIVORCE.
We will be doing lead in articles to John J. Nazarian’s series of DIVORCE, I wish this had been available to me at the time, and I think and we hope this will cause both thoughts and dialogue. If you have a question ask Mr. Nazarian if he can I am sure he will either answer it or address it in an upcoming article.
Visit Desperate Exes.com for the continuing series on DIVORCE America Style!
