John J Nazarian show guests tonight are so off the cuff in zingers as well as so funny you will laugh so hard that you will cry. The show will as always be rated “mature content” but we are also warning the listeners that the comments will be “adult humor” tonight for an hour of hilarious and outrageous gossip and quips.

Straight Talk with John J Nazarian will feature Daniel DiCriscio, Dawna Kaufmann and Fifi Larue. When you get just one of them with John Nazarian the show takes on it’s own life with the hysterical humor. This is the first time they will be teamed together, so we have no idea where the show will go and neither does the guests.

Seldom do I ever get a chance to just unwind and relax and think nothing except just the food I am eating. Well I got together with a ‘re-new’ old friend, does that make any sense? Let me explain, I met Daniel DiCriscio years ago, a very long time ago. He was employed at the Jose Eber Salon and had just launched his music career. Funny as it seems I remember that CD and it was not bad. I was developing my new business and offices and Daniel was busy with his hair and as I said his music. This guy has some real talent other than being ‘Daniel’. Go ahead and Google him, after you Google me.

Recently his mom died and we communicated both by phone and email and I could hear the pain in his voice as well as in his writings. His emotions were ones that had escaped me during similar circumstances that I had and I felt bad that he was at a loss in his mother’s death. We spoke further and again, it was good for me in away that is hard for me to explain.

Well through the last couple of years Daniel has assisted me in a few projects and he, like myself are tough to miss. He has a presence! The great blond hair and of course his style of dress, too bad those in power during the Anna Nicole Show missed him and found that ‘mess’ who played too many episodes. Booby Bobby or Bobby Boob, whatever. The two of us make an interesting ‘set’, black and white, sour and sweet, Beauty and , well enough, you get my point.

I suggested we get together for a bite to eat and the amazing thing here is that we are both very entertaining when it comes to the rich and famous. It was to the point I was wondering how have we missed what could be one of the best duos since Dean and Jerry, Amos and Andy, Jan and Dean, and maybe even Mutt and Jeff. My point here is that we could both have a new career, we had each other laughing and on serious points we were both on target. Especially, our thoughts on Anna Nicole Smith as well as others both in and out of Hollywood. My perspective is sarcastic and stinging; Daniel has what I call a ‘snap’, like get over it. Call me a little odd, but I was very entertained and realized it was just him and me.

I am posting this picture to make my point, when it comes to ‘Hollywood Insiders’ no one can come close to either one of us. And we both understand how far to the line we can come after all of these years bumping around Hollywood. Speaking for myself, there are things that I would never speak of and a book, is never going to happen. For Daniel the stories about Elizabeth Taylor alone could fill two chapters in his book. My time with Miss Taylor could fill maybe ten pages….thanks Adam! I recall my first encounter with Peerez Hilton and thought, “ Beast “, and having to do a short pilot with him, Lisa Stanley of KRTH ( she is the best ) and Ryan Seacrest’s assistant, what’s her name……the painful part was Peerez Hilton…and those feet!

All I am saying is watch, there could very well be some very interesting ‘tea’ coming along and presented in away that only two people in this town could present, John & Daniel or Daniel & John……that will be a hump to stroll over…..in time.

In an AP interview lead criminal attorney for Howard K. Stern, Steve Sadow says his client’s law license is in real jeopardy. Sadow said in the interview; “Even if Stern receives misdemeanor probation, his prospects as a lawyer are bleak, because the State Bar of California will likely still treat him as a convicted felon.” Sadow is still hopeful that the verdicts will be overturned, dismissed or reduced to misdemeanors by Superior Court Judge Robert Perry. “The judge has the authority to consider the well-known and commonly accepted practice of doctors and hospitals using aliases and so-called false names.” If he cannot get Judge Perry to dismiss the charges he will urge Judge Perry in the reduction to a misdemeanor with probation. It appears from the interview that even if Sadow can get the charges reduced to misdemeanors that will not help keep Stern’s law license. Sadow did not indicate that he would ask for a new trial as Eroshevich’s attorney is saying he will. We have asked Mr. Sadow if he could clarify for us the future intensions on behalf of Stern but have not received any further comment back from him. My thoughts is that this weekend will be spent on strategy meetings by Stern’s attorneys.

Other attorneys we have talked to and those that understand that strange land of Hollywood justice said that both the medical board and the State Bar would most likely start proceedings for hearings to take away both license this coming week. You know an election and all!!!

Bruce Ross the lead attorney in the appeal of Anna Nicole Smith’s case going back to the Supreme Court in an interview with E Online was more optimistic saying; “it is very premature to speculate about Howard’s executorship in that motions for a new trial will no doubt will be filed, and because the trial judge has the discretion to reduce the two relatively minor felony convictions to misdemeanors.”

I know many of us are not lawyers but have served as Executors of family members will so being disbarred should not affect that unless it is for “appearance sake”, and if that occurs the Estate has a good back up plan that Anna Nicole Smith included in her Will with Ron Rale to step in if needed.

Brad Brunon is a tad more optimistic for his client Dr. Khristine Eroshevich saying he will urge the judge to reduce the charges or order a new trial. He indicates he will cite Eroshevich’s good faith. “No one said she was doing this out of ill will, she certainly didn’t do it for money.” Brunon told the AP in an interview; “That in lieu of suspension, the medical board could allow Eroshevich to practice with a monitor overseeing all of her prescriptions, and she could also be ordered to go through a reeducation program on prescriptions” Brunon stated that in his opinion he did not think most physicians knew that writing a prescription under a pseudonym is a felony, Brunon added in the interview that doctors treating stars have a dual obligation to provide good medical care but also to protect their privacy. .

Attorney Ellyn Garofalo, whose client Dr. Sandeep Kapoor was acquitted of all charges said “these statutes involving use of fake names have never been enforced in this context. It was so unusual that she was unable to find case law on the subject when doing research for the trial. “There are doctors in Beverly Hills today saying, ‘Oh, my God, this is illegal?’… It just goes on all the time, what physician in his right mind wants to take on a celebrity when they will get charged criminally.” .

Another top defense lawyer in Los Angeles, Harland Braun, the father of Adam Braun said of the convictions; “This is a shocker, the convictions of Dr. Khristine Eroshevich and Howard K. Stern for obtaining drug prescriptions for Smith under false names contradicts common practice. It’s absolutely necessary for survival in Hollywood, If it stands that keeping these people anonymous is a criminal act, a lot of doctors will have to refuse to take celebrity patients because they can’t protect them.”

Linda Deutsch of the AP said; “…in the wake of the convictions of her, [Anna Nicole Smith], psychiatrist and lawyer-boyfriend for using false names on her drug prescriptions, the Hollywood medical community awoke to the realization Friday that the practice might be off limits and some doctors could avoid treating celebrity clients rather than risk criminal charges.”

Anna Nicole Smith was known as Jane Brown, Susie Wong and other pseudonyms. Smith is not the exception in Hollywood of being treated under a pseudonym other known celebrities like Michael Jackson had several, performers such as Britney Spears and Mariah Carey to name just two more were known to use aliases when seeking medical care. Jackson’s doctor, Conrad Murray charged with involuntary manslaughter was not charged under this code of prescribing under the fake names he used for Jackson. Which makes me wonder why aren’t all of them being charged, from the doctors, to the hospitals to the pharmacists? Is if fair to send a message that we will not enforce this unless elections are close or we just don’t like you?

Nicole White. a spokeswoman for Cedars Sinai, and Dale Tate, a spokeswoman for UCLA Medical Center, said they were seeking comment from officials about the issue and had no immediate response. Both hospitals routinely admit celebrities under alias names and send prescriptions home with them under the same alias. When I talked to one of the hospitals a year ago they told me that if this happened it would cost hospitals in Los Angeles millions of dollars in revenue.

If the jury verdict documents provided by Radar Online are to be believed, the jury said they were deadlock on 3 felony counts for Eroshevich and six for Stern, which makes no sense to me at all.

Judge Perry has scheduled a hearing for Jan. 6 for further action in the case and possible sentencing.

It’s the morning of August 6, 2010 and I am just about to enter the court building, not knowing that the “star witness of the day” Big Moe, is right in front of me, entering the building the same time as I am. The paparazzi quickly surrounded Moe in a flood of flashbulbs! Then, I was next to be surrounded and photographed by the paparazzi pack. Once inside the court building, and through the security check, I went to the elevator to begin my journey up to the courtroom. Not realizing that one of the people in the elevator alongside of me was Virgie Arthur, Anna Nicole Smith’s mother, I started to feel that this was going to be an event more than I realized.

When I walked into the courtroom, I took a seat in the back row. Virgie, in a gray pant suit, seated to my left and an ABC reporter to my right in the same row. Linda Deutsch of the AP was seated in front of me in a bright pink blazer and pen in hand. The court room wasn’t very big, and had signs everywhere stating no cell phones or recording devices were allowed. The jury was on the left side of the courtroom, 2 rows of jurors.

Big Moe took to the stand in a pin striped suit and bronze shirt with a gold chain, and had trouble adjusting his mic. at first. Judge Robert Perry was more than accommodating to Big Moe. Anna Nicole Smith’s so called “dream team”; Howard K. Stern with his attorneys, J. Chris Smith and lead attorney Steve Sadow, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich with attorney Bradley Brunon, and Dr. Sandeep Kapoor with attorney Ellyn Garofalo sat center with the rest of their legal teams. Howard stuck out somewhat because of his bright royal blue tie and he appeared to have bad sitting posture, I thought. Dr. Kapoor was in a gray suit and monochromatic lavender shirt and purple tie. Dr. Khris opted for pin stripes!

Once the questioning began, Assistant Deputy Attorney, Renee Rose fired her inquiries at Big Moe. Steve Sadow was the “I object” person of the day…I swear he objected to so many things Renee Rose or Big Moe were saying, or the questions and how they were phrased, and on and on.

Dr. Khris’ lawyer, Bradley Brunon, also objected a few times when the questions or Moe’s answers were directed at Dr. Khris.

Big Moe started working with Anna, he said, in 2003, being introduced to her by Howard K. Stern at a photo-shoot.

Big Moe answered questions about Anna’s entourage, which consisted of Howard K. Stern, Kimmy Walthers, & Anna’s son Daniel Smith, etc. Mr. Sadow objected to the word “entourage” and it was sustained. Big Moe wasn’t exact on dates regarding Anna all the time. Although, he did say Howard K. Stern was her “right hand man”, and Kimmy was her “Assistant”, not Howard. The entourage, or crowd of people, would go with Anna to some of her occasions, but Howard went to everything. Big Moe did say that he never saw Stern do law or any other legal things, although Howard was Anna’s lawyer.

Big Moe said he always brought a Blood Pressure Cuff with him, because Anna would sometimes go without rest and he would check her.

During 2004 Anna was the spokeswoman for Trim Spa and went on tour with the Trim Spa Bus around the country, and Moe said he was pretty much on the bus the whole time. Big Moe went on to say that he saw prescription drugs on bus, and that Anna always had a backpack with a grocery bag inside with more medications in it. He did say he saw Anna take the meds. He did say he did not see what kinds were in the bag though. The E! crew, Howard, Kimmy, and Daniel were there as well on the Trim Spa bus tour.

Big Moe stated that he did see Anna take meds on the bus regularly, and she was tired a lot and slept a lot. However she did enjoy the attention from her fans he said!

He rekindled us with The Kentucky Derby meeting when Anna met Larry Birkhead, when Larry was a freelance photographer. Larry from that point became part of her crowd and joined on the bus to take pictures. Those photographs were seen in People Magazine, In Touch, etc.

At one point, one of the jurors I saw seem to be cat napping! LOL!

We then were taken on a journey of award shows when Anna was “medicated” or “Cristalized ” with the champagne, or both. Although Moe said Anna was a “casual drinker” and she loved Cristal Champagne! Anna would get slurred speech, become drowsy, and had trouble walking at one or more of these award shows. Big Moe said she would get nervous before an awards show or party, like anybody, and needed to relax. One of these award shows was The World Music Awards, when she presented Kanye West with an award in 2004. Moe said, “I saw her take her usual medications and drink before a show, and take whatever else to make her relax.” It got so bad at times that on one occasion they had to carry Anna out. He said Anna would take meds first, then drink.

One of the funniest things that happened in the courtroom was when Judge Robert Perry did not understand when Big Moe said The G Foria Awards. Judge Perry asked Moe to spell the name of the awards a couple of times and the courtroom broke out in laughter.

Another funny point in the courtroom was when Big Moe’s cell phone started to ring aloud: the ringer was the sound of a siren!

At one point, Moe painted a sweet picture of Anna when she was at Camp Kindle, a camp for children who are affected by HIV/AIDS. He said Anna loved playing with the children and really enjoyed herself. She also loved painting her face with them, she would be the person dunked in The Dunk Machine, play Camp Games, etc..

The heavy part of this inquisition was when The Bahamas came into the court room. Howard called Moe and asked him to come to the Bahamas because Daniel had died, so Moe flew into Nassau. Moe said that Anna was “a hurt lady” because of Daniel’s death and would breakdown. She was incredibly depressed. On Sept. 11, 2006, Moe talked to Anna and said she looked drained and lethargic due to Daniel’s death. At Horizons, he did say that Ford Shelley, G. Ben Thompson, Howard K. Stern, Anna, Dannielynn, and one of the nannies were there. There were two nannies, separate shifts, Alexis and Nadine. The others at Horizons included, Tracy Ferguson attorney, and Gina Shelley, Ford Shelley’s wife.

Moe said Anna was happy to see him when he first arrived. She hugged him, but was in pain from her C-section. Moe said Anna was in denial of Daniel’s passing. But she would come to life when Dannielynn was in front of her.

Moe did say that Anna would sleep during the day and get up at night. He would try to get her up and moving because she was sleeping a lot.

The infamous dish of pills became part of the inquisition. Over 20 different pills, and also some pills in bottles. Moe never saw the types or names on many of the bottles. He did mention Diazepam (Valium), B12 (liquid form) for energy, and methadone, because he saw the name on those bottles. Moe also said he saw syringes in the bathroom. He stated that Anna had a small refrigerator by her bed, four feet high, with Orange Juice, baby bottles, snacks, methadone and syringes.

He also saw the burnt spoon in the bathroom. Moe said Anna injected herself, but others injected her too, like Howard K. Stern. He explained the liquefying of the medicine and why they cooked it on a spoon. He said it draws up into the syringe easier and goes into the blood stream faster. He said he did see burnt spoons on the counter in the bathroom and in her drawer. Moe did not liquefy or cook meds on spoons.. Moe did say that Anna had two doctors, Dr. Minnis and Dr. Barrett in the Bahamas that did inject her, or administer drugs to Anna.

Moe stated that Chloral Hydrate given to Anna by Dr. Khris Eroshevich. Anna at one point would drink the Chloral Hydrate from the bottle. Moe said Anna drank the Chloral from the bottle in front of Dr. Khris and Dr. Khris told her not to do that, but Anna did it anyway.

Moe did raise his voice at one point to defend Anna’s honor and said “She wasn’t impaired all the time you couldn’t get over on her she wasn’t popping pills all day.” That may have been true but somehow sounded a little contradictory to me.

Although, this is just the beginning of this trial saga, I am sure the best is yet to come!

I want to say first and foremost, I don’t ever want to read a slam against the Texas Courts again (just kidding) but WOW!!! For those who live in California is this Jury Questionnaire typical? This is the first of 3 steps to get on the jury of the Dr. Sandepp Kapoor, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich and Howard K. Stern in Judge Robert J. Perry court.

We read through it last night, laughed but also felt like this pool of potential jurors should feel violated.

Rule One: “You can not write on the back or add extra pages”, but how are you suppose to pass along the gossip about friends and what you really think of them? I have had a murder in my family of a cousin and her daughter over child custody, how can you explain all of that and my Aunt’s feelings in 2 lines, including the father died in California but the murders and custody was in Texas? How are you suppose to tell about picking up prescriptions, calling for an antibiotic for you or a child to save an office visit fee. How are you suppose to tell about the friend who is a nurse and said that phobias of hospitals is a good thing and not something you wanted to get over, and then proceeded to tell about huge potential fatal mistakes doctors made that the nurses had to correct or the patient would have died? How do you talk about the nurse you know who works for a plastic surgeon and the tales you heard, which may or may not have been true? How do you say in two lines about patients MUST be proactive in their care and hell yes, at my age I fire stupid doctors to their face.

Yea some cops are honest, some are not and then you have the cops who commit perjury, [remember that cop in the OJ case], and of course some cops are down right sexy. How do you explain a huge cover up of a murder not by the D. A. but by cops covering for cops and that “blue line”. How many of us watch CSI, Law and Order, the ID channel? How do you explain that any one that keeps up with the news just in California knows about the horror that happened to Cynthia Summers? How do you say that once convicted even if your opinion on hind sight you found that D. A.s are more worried about conviction rates and fighting to not overturn convictions even when clear evidence later were shown that cleared the wrongly convicted?

I don’t watch Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, Inside Edition, Extra, TMZ or Fox infotainment news. But if you are even a semi intelligent news watcher, not mention the last week of news cycle about a right wing propaganda site putting up what they knew was an edited video to pull the scab off of racial fears for “page views” or “hits”?

How many of you d have favorite blogs, have a Face Book Account, a My Space, Twitter? Not to mention that for some reason LinkedIN was not listed and was it left off because it is a social media from professionals to network. Then you get into Google Alerts. How many get their news on the run in this busy world via a laptop computer or online reputable news like the AP online?

Then you get down to everything on this questionnaire becomes public record with ONLY your name protected? Is California going to pay your legal expenses when that neighbor, friend, family member, nurse who ever sues you in a Civil Court for running your mouth about them and medications, illnesses, legal problems and you just shared their life?

I was going to fill out this form in the worse type of joke, of spouse, the squeeze on the side, the lover, doctor, lawyer , Indian chief and there is not enough room so can I call home. I got to page four and said F – this.

Ken asked me who drafted this questionnaire that could not spell website [cite] correctly. I said usually the defense and D. A. fills out a wish list that the judge “rules on”, but this looks like a judge decided to take that large latitude they get in their courts because of that black robe. I wish we knew who suggested these questions and then how much did the judge impose because of his personal views?

Then once you get through this giant invasion of not only your privacy rights, but everyone you know; you get to go through a bankrupt California state doing a background check and we still don’t know if that is from speeding tickets, forgetting to pick up your dog’s poop, or something serious. If you get through both of these then you get to go threw jury Voir Dire, where the attorneys get at you hoping the court dismisses you, or the other side does so you don’t have to use one of your “precious strikes”. Not to mention as I said the extreme right wing Bible Thumpers, holier than thou or good cons will get in and a lot of good juror potentials will strike out. It is little comfort for you, your family and friends they want to know about is: “Remember: Questions are not asked to embarrass you. They are intended to make sure members of the jury have no opinions or past experiences which might prevent them from making an impartial decision.”

Here is a Jury Questionnaire from a federal court for a murder trial that involved a crime family.

My questions is that can this jury pool get through this first part, then the background check and then the Jury Voir Dire on August 2 and August 3 by the assistant D. A. and the defense attorneys and be ready to be impaneled for Opening Arguments on August 4, 2010.

Very quietly in January 2009 was published a book by Crime Story writer, Dawna Kaufmann, and renown Medical and Forensic Examiner Cyril Wecht M. D. J. D., called “A Question of Murder” appeared on store shelves and online book stores. The book deals with five cases and goes through how Dr. Cyril Wecht arrived at his conclusion in relation to “A Question of Murder”. I now have the book and this one TRULY has never before published information surrounding the death of Daniel Smith and Anna Nicole Smith. I have only skimmed through the 2 chapters, having laid the book on my bedside table, and saw two glaring things that caught by attention. That Dr. Wecht contacted Howard K. Stern about the testimony of Dr. Hern at the Inquest in Daniel Smith’s death in the Bahamas. The second thing that caught my eye right off is the related facts that in the chapter concerning was Anna Nicole Smith’s death “A Question of Murder” or even of possible murder, is a detailed dialogue of a conference call between Dr. Wecht, Howard K. Stern and Dr. Khristine Eroshevich. Dr. Wecht had extraordinary access to many of the main people who were really in the know about the death of Daniel Smith and his famous mother Anna Nicole Smith. It is well written which is a relief after reading the ninth grade level of writing of Rita Cosby’s book.

I suggest Barnes and Noble for the book but then I have a preference for them. After I read the chapter I will discuss the “A Question of Murder” for Daniel Smith. That will be followed by a discussion of “A Question of Murder” for Anna Nicole Smith. If you don’t like Barnes and Noble a link section on our main site has numerous online stores to purchase the book from.

This book is riveting in the teaming up of Cyril Wecht M. D. with Dawna Kaufmann the Crime story writer to make sure it holds one interest and is not loaded with too much medical jargon. It holds the attention of the reader in great details about all five cases covered in “A Question of Murder”.

I am going to give each of you time to order your copy or pick it up at your local book store before I begin to discuss it. After you have purchased your copy write down the questions you have about “A Question of Murder” we will have access to the authors to finally separate, rumors the out and out lies that tabloid media deal with, and I hope we find the truth; or as much as we can before the preliminary hearing in October.

How Rita Cosby’s book made it to the best seller list and this book did not is beyond my comprehension. Oh yea, the book of the true blond ambitious Rita Cosby had explosive allegations often not covered by facts at all per Judge Denny Chin. His finding outlines his “thoughts” on the meeting the bar of both malicious intent and for punitive damages to be tried before a jury.

You are probably wondering where I came up with “Three Blind Mice?”…well, that’s what they looked like to me in the arraignment room: Howard K. Stern, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, and Dr. Sandeep A. Kapoor. OK, all kidding aside – Today was a very serious and intense day for Stern and the Doctors, and for me as well!

Believe it or not, the intensity surrounding my being at this arraignment today was unbelievable and completely ludicrous. As I was told a week before this arraignment that I was dressed “too over the top” at the last arraignment outing and seem to spark a little “Daniel” controversy, etc. But I am a big boy and where there is scandal, there is Daniel! LOL!

Well, I arrived at the courthouse early this morning as was a throng of media awaiting the arrival of “the three blind mice”! First to arrive was Dr. Khristine and her team, Dr. Khris and her lawyer, Adam Braun, both gave me a very friendly “Hello”, which I thought was very sweet considering their circumstances, although I didn’t care much for her “Saint John – like” rose/salmony colored skirt suit, looked old fashioned and her hair was a little too flat.

Next to arrive was “the ring master” himself Howard K. Stern and his legal eagles! Stern seem to have a strange almost goofy walk to me today, not his usual “sternest”. I walked in behind Howard K. Stern and his team, including Chris Smith Esq. of California and Steve Sadow of Georgia. When I was about to go through the security check, I didn’t realize that Dr. Kapoor was in front of me in line and was very solemn! It seemed that Dr. Kapoor didn’t garner that much attention as I thought he would.

Although I do have to state the fashions at this arraignment were not the best. I understand it is a courtroom, but everyone looked a little lackluster for some reason. I did not condone the “hummingbird’s”, from my last writing, fashion choice: pale gray pantsuit, which is fine, but her pants were shoved up her behind, and it looked like her pants were wedged in her. Sorry, a major faux pas!

Next, we were all up in the arraignment room. I was wishing they would have kicked on the AC, because it was a little too stuffy for me. Anyway, Howard and the 2 docs and their legal teams took the first 2 rows, center.

When the “three blind mice” were called to the stand, all I could see was “the hummingbird’s” wedge! Also, it was very hard to hear in the courtroom, I actually had to cup my ear to hear better, considering that the judge is wearing a microphone, go figure.

All three put in “Not Guilty Pleas”. Surprise! “Lin Wood’s” name did come up a lot in the arraignment hearing, more about that in part 2 of this series. The Commissioner granted the prosecutor’s motions: Handwriting exemplars from each defendant, etc, and a protective order against dissemination of discovery to protect privacy.

I felt that Dr. Khris and especially Dr. Kapoor seemed to be the most serious in the hearing today, maybe scared? All “three blind mice” held their hands clasped in front of them as school kids would facing a principal. At one point to add to the “circus” in the courtroom, a woman who “organizes” the people in the courtroom actually walked up to me as I was sitting, watching and listening intently to the hearing, and leaned over and whispered to me “Wow, you have such nice hair and skin!” I was like “huh?”!

After the “Not Guilty” pleas were stated, “the three blind mice” and I went down stairs to the awaiting press conference. Howard and his legal eagles were first. At almost the same time, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich and her team dashed to an awaiting limo and skipped the press conference. What was that about?!

Anyway, Steve Sadow took center stage and proceeded to, as it seemed, to hash over the same things again: Attorney General Jerry Brown, etc. It seemed that the Stern team wanted to “lighten” it up a bit. The press wanted to hear Howard K. Stern say something, but he didn’t.

I stood behind Dr. Kapoor and Howard and his legal team during his press conference. I didn’t feel that the press seemed that interested in Dr. Kapoor, I may be wrong about that, but that is what it felt like. When the press conference was over, the entire media throng encased Howard and his team all the way to their limo. Howard, to me, seems to enjoy the attention. I am not saying that this is a bad trait, but a little odd, maybe? The press left “poor” Dr. Kapoor standing there as they followed Howard.

After Howard’s limo exited, the press started asking me questions. I did a “mini” press conference! I was asked many questions and I did the best I could answering them. I gave some heartfelt “Anna” comments and also gave my own insight into this tragedy. Daniel DiCriscio’s comments were picked up by E Online! Although, I did have one interviewer ask me “off the record”, ” Why did Howard bring out of state attorney’s, isn’t that illegal?” I heard that a lot today from other people in the courtroom, too.

I thought I heard in the courtroom the judge say June 24th or 25th for the preliminary hearing, but I think I heard “the hummingbird” say she is going on vacation the 26th, so they will all have to come back and set a date. The preliminary hearing is to be set for some time in June 2009, and is expected to last 2 weeks…Yikes!
