The days of Anthony Pellicano

Once again for whatever reason we are getting called in to verify what some idiot with a P.I. license did, and that is a “sweep.” This is when someone thinks that their home or auto has been tampered with and…

…you may see lights flashing and electronic noises…forget about it. Nazarian and Associates has been looking for and finding planted recorders and tracking devices for years. And if it is there we will more likely find it and it will not be with any of these silly adult toys! …

…Remember this, if, and I say if, if your home has been “wired” and done right, you will never find it. One great example is this, taken from the Pellicano trial:

Mr. Nagler, concerned that Mr. Pellicano might have wiretapped Sly, had all the phones in the Stallone house swept. But as all good Pellicano watchers know by now, Mr. Pellicano didn’t wiretap phones in the house. (Just ask Gavin DeBeker who had Gary Shandling’s house swept.) The sweeping didn’t turn up anything because…

…Am I going to tell you how we do that, no, of course not, that is after all how I keep my Bentley and Rolls filled with gas.

The bottom line is this, be aware of your home and who is coming and going. If you are wealthy and

Anthony Pelilcano

Tap Tap Tap Tap me, whatever pain or harm a wiretap can bring is nothing compared to the financial rewards that can land in the victim’s bank accounts. There is not one doubt in my mind that I was “listened to” during the days of Anthony Pellicano’s reign of terror. …To think of all that money slipping through my hands only because my government got hoodwinked by a self-taught private investigator in the art and wizardry of wiretapping and the storage of information. All at the hands of a computer geek and “The Pelican.”

I have heard through the grapevine MILLIONS were paid to make one “victim” go away, and even a couple of lesser victims got more than they could have ever dreamed of. However, there are people in the world that a million, 2 million, 3 million is a little like tipping the parking attendant a $ 10 bill: big deal for that parking guy, ain’t shit for the guy giving it…very similar here folks.

And in some people’s circles, when you put your ass on the line and “stay the course” it is expected that you and those close to you will be taken care of. That is real old school if you get what I am saying here folks. …And in the end what is a an old law career worth anyways, 1 million, 2 million, 3 million…well I think you are getting the point here. …

…Very rich divorce lawyers battling it out in the civil courts and one is guilty as hell and the other is a victim. The problem is the next payout will not be fast and easy as this last one. Damn, Tap Tap Tap away…as it is so often stated, the rich get richer, and the rest of us? We at least sleep well, right fellas?

John J. Nazarian P. I. to the rich and famous with Charlee

Well we are in a new time and place when it comes to private investigators, and those who operate with no license creating havoc in this state. How many times does a P.I. meet with a new potential client and hear “I want to know this” or “I want to know that” and on and on it goes. And they don’t care how you get what they want? Many of these people have heard stories or watched a few too many movies and they think they “know”…Well the days of wiretapping are gone for awhile…until the next “player” pops up, and one will come along, you can bet on it. The other game that has become an issue is the use of spy ware on computers, and “techno geeks” who have the ability to gain access to your computers. You know, trying to “gag” the provider so as to gain access into someone’s computer account and grabbing your e-mails…..LMAO, your days are numbered!

I believe that this happened to me ….We are taking the steps needed to stop and I hope identify the perpetrators (I can always use a little extra money). …

Funny thought here, I remember hearing, “you know the day is going to be bad if you look out your window and see a 20/20 crew.” Well I have one better, can you imagine having the United States Secret Service, 12 divisions and 2300 strong taking an interest in your behavior? …This agency has one of the best “Electronic Crimes Task Forces” in the world. Let me put it this way, if the F.B.I. is sugar, the United States Secret Service is maple syrup.

….For those of you that will continue trying to be cute with “providers” and “carriers” on the global internet highway, I will be there to cover the story just as I did for Pellicano & crew, when you are caught. …

This is the next article of clues as to what Mr. Nazarian is working on. Remember it has NOTHING to do with Howard K. Stern, Anna Nicole Smith or any of the peripheral people in California or Texas no matter how remotely they may think they are “involved” in this saga. So after you read the newest set of clues and noting the above disclaimer, what is Mr. Nazarian working on and when will he unveil it for all of us to know. John J. Nazarian and Charlee his partner on the job

Typhoid Mary and Anthony Pellicano, can it get any more serious than that? Well it is reported that Fiorentino is writing a screenplay about Anthony Pellicano…hmm, all I can say is that you are a little late, “Miss Thing.” Linda, you may want to go on the speaking circuit, you know, go to police and federal training academies and tell them how you single-handedly brought one of their own…DOWN! There could also be a sequel, “THUD”, how I dropped my F.B.I. boyfriend! Ol’ hot cakes, aka X-Special Agent Rossini, has plead guilty and taken a deal. Here folks is a smart one! Da Sarge should have read the same book he did as to “How to Make a Deal.” He has already lost his career, and will get probation and a fine…the embarrassment for Mr. Rossini will be like a death sentence and again kids, FOR WHAT? Going against his own agency to come to the defense of Anthony Pellicano? The defense of Anthony Pellicano…as futile as rearranging the deck chairs on the S.S. Titanic! Defense? What defense was worth a Special Agent’s career?

John J. Nazarian and Charlee on Patrol

Will Pellicano and Crew ever be sentenced? This is becoming a little like a bad meal that keeps giving hours after eating it! Or one of those horror flicks that the villain after getting hit with bombs, being blown to pieces and being finely chopped in a blender keeps returning. Yup, “The King of Omerta” is not done yet, he wants lawyers to review this segment of the game he has long lost! NOW he wants a lawyer?!? Sentencing postponed again.

What is nice about this new date — December 15, 2008 at 1:30 P.M. in courtroom 840 — is that it will be the Pellicano and Crew show, making it all the more entertaining. I can hear it all now like a boxing match: And sitting in this corner wearing a stupid look on his face is…

John J. Nazarian, P.I. Extraordinaire

Lots of people have been asking me for more on the Pellicano story. …Anthony prided himself not only on being a top private investigator, he saw himself as a “negotiator.” This being Hollywood, and dealing with the human nature of all that comes with that, no one really wants to play fair. Oh, for sure there are the air kisses and the “darlings” and “loved your show”…Guess what? No one really cares! They are all competing. And many of them will sell their grandmothers for a competitive edge.

Negotiating can be a real art form — bringing opposing parties together in a way that everyone feels they won something. But negotiating is not that tough when you know all the cards everyone is holding. I have learned also that negotiating and extortion are sometimes one and the same. Thanks to his “unorthodox methods,” Anthony Pellicano was very good at knowing what offer to make… …Anthony had the ability to work for both sides at the same time and get paid by both sides! Now how cool is that? …So along comes the ultimate Goombah, Mr. Omerta, and he too had the market cornered! He could convince one side and the other that they were in trouble, and that he could take care of it. If it did not go as he planned, he would orchestrate some turmoil and rumor. There are tapes out there, and there he is working the tabloids too!

And then this: when Anita Busch was targeted, some big nitwit said, “Get Pellicano!” LMAO! That’s right…bring Pellicano in to investigate himself! Can you imagine those fools looking back at that now? Why not get Nazarian, I was already there! But I was not a “contributor,” you know, how Anthony could drop little gems of insider secrets from his treasure trove to ingratiate himself. “He never left the office” it was mentioned during the trial….why should he, he had the world right at his ear! And with the help of “his” lawyers he worked these rich folks like a bunch of $3 hookers — I am not saying that there is anything wrong with a $3 hooker, as long as you got some good ampicillin or the like! But Anthony took them to the bank and to the cleaners, and in the end some of their secrets were made public. All that money and what did they get? Well, the really rich ones got satisfaction and maybe even a pound of flesh. Yes, the rich and powerful want their flesh, after all they are rich and they like being treated special! And some were even treated special during the government’s investigation.

Many of the people who got worked over by Anthony still don’t realize fully what he did. Hell, I sat in that courtroom for weeks and I know we didn’t hear it all, and we know the government didn’t find out everything. It does make you think twice about what you talk about. I had a meeting just today with someone who asked if anyone could still do the “phone olympics,” I told him that the only guy that I knew was the Pelican and he is “booked” for the next 10 plus years! Can you imagine someone asking a question like that….not tough for me, I just went into my old fashion gumshoe routine. That is how I do it and maybe when I am going real nuts I will grab the garbage! That other stuff? Hmmm, who will be the next one and who will buy?

Who will be the next “Negotiator”? No one around at this time! Why you ask? It will be a little tougher to work it as when someone tells the feds, “I think I am being wiretapped!”, I think that they may take it a little more seriously. The technology is also changing rapidly…less home phones (hard lines), more cellular and along with that will come new technology and who knows what will happen.

I do have to give Pellicano a nod, he was the best there was for what will seem like a short time as he sits and waits, and waits. All during the trial, Anthony had the calm look of someone who knew something the rest of us didn’t. Maybe he still does! But for the Negotiator who’s used to knowing all the cards and beating the house, it looks like he’s finally holding a losing hand.

John J. Nazarian, P.I. Extraordinaire

Well you know what they say, just plan a nice late morning swim and the phone will ring! It did I got my first call from John Connolly, and then Robert Iafolla called and told me that the jury was ready and get to the courthouse by noon — it was already after 11:30 AM. I was out of the pool and at the courthouse by 12:01PM, not bad!

The place was jumping, the guards were milling around and the players were all there. Lally and Saunders were very quiet, almost like a couple of big dogs who had just treed the neighbor’s cat and were getting ready to take a snooze under the tree and wait…and wait they did! All the games had been played and the Jury had done their job, and at 12:15 PM Judge Fischer began to read Pellicano’s charges, all 77 of them…on 76 of them he was found guilty! And worst of all was the RICO act…talk about some bad fish! Pellicano just sat there, at one time tried to smile but remained very stoic, almost like he could not move. He looked around the courtroom and was almost comatose. It took almost 1/2 an hour for the judge to read his charges and it was very slow and almost “wah wah.” It was all melding together for me. His wife Kat sat and listened and was also very stoic and looked straight ahead. Could it be 6-7 years and maybe 20 more for RICO? The Pelican is so done, but he still has not said a word and appeared to find all of this entertaining. What does he feel about Omerta, I guess it worked for him!

Note: I was told that he blew through almost all of this money and never saved any money for his one child, who is not well. What about the oath to provide for your family?

Next in line was my “buddy” the Sarge, Mark Arneson. It was the worst scenario for a cop, Guilty of RICO and 44 other charges, that could be…20 plus years in prison! It will have to be in “protective custody” or he won’t have a prayer. Yup, it will be double the hell in prison, a dirty cop and all the rest won’t be good for him! His wife looked as if the jury had just smacked her…it was sad, but what did she think? The jury saw and heard what we had and it was “Guilty” all the way…Da Sarge did it all and got caught. “Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time!” The other problem for the Sarge is that this judge is going to make an example of this dirty copper who saw “nothing wrong” with what he did, hell everyone does it…NOT!

Ray Turner got the smack down too, RICO and GUILTY of 14 of the 18 charges against him…he too seemed pretty much resigned to the fact that this was not going to be a good day, Happy Ray was looking a little sad!

One of the more amusing verdicts was for Lil’ Abner Nicherie. LMAO, after watching him for weeks taking his nice long naps and coming in late he was wide awake today, yes he was, as the judge said….GUILTY, you nitwit! No, she did not say “nitwit,” that was me! He put his face in his hands and just looked like he got smacked with a dead Pelican! This grifter already is a convicted felon, and now this? He is so F%@#ed. This judge is going to lay chubby away…you watch when she sticks him with the full sentencing guidelines…but for that we have to wait until September.

Here is my prediction: based on what we witnessed today, Terry N. Christensen (the only lawyer to get caught in the Pelican net) better make a deal! He does not want to go forward with a trial based on the evidence against him. He is right there talking with the Pelican and he is in as deep as he can get! He is rich and will be rich when he gets out of prison, people are also saying that Kerkorian will take care of him…..Hmmm!

Lots of reporters waiting for the verdicts and the jurors outside. I was asked what it was like in the courtroom, all I could think of was what a turkey farm must look like during Thanksgiving…it was a slaughter! Feathers everywhere — not turkey feathers but Pelican feathers!
