Anna Nicole Smith Estate vs. Susan M. Brown et. al. – Law Offices and Brown Deadline May 2, 2011

In a telephone hearing today in the South Carolina Federal Court Magistrate Judge Thomas E Rogers, III made the following rulings after TELEPHONE CONFERENCE with the parties and counsel.
1. Howard K. Stern on behalf of the Estate for Anna Nicole Smith had agreed to the Attorney of Record to Withdraw and the Memorandum for reasons to withdraw be sealed The Court Agreed and Ordered that the reason be sealed and Susan M. Brown’s current attorney can and as of today has withdrawn from the case.
2. Stern offered to give The Brown Law Offices and Susan M. Brown thirty days to seek new counsel. Magistrate Judge Thomas E Rogers, III ruled Brown had only ten (10) days to find new counsel or would represent herself Pro Se.
3. Smith’s Estate had offered a “reasonable period of time for the Brown defendants to have discovery”. Magistrate Judge Thomas E Rogers, III ruled that; “Court will stay scheduling deadlines for a period of 10 days
4. The Estate says the only Motion currently pending before the court is the amount of attorneys fees that Brown and her firm owes for the Contempt proceedings, no ruling on that was made today. L. Lin Wood, Luke Lantta and Nicole Jennings Wade, lead attorneys are optimistic that a mediated settlement is possible but has not happened to date, therefore if necessary the Estate is ready for final Pretrial Motions to be filed and then a jury trial.

“The judge in the Conrad Murray involuntary manslaughter case has allowed prosecutors to present TWO photos
taken at Michael Jackson’s autopsy to bused as evidence at trial.
TMZ has learned … one of the photos shows the pop star clothed — while laying on a gurney.
The other photo shows Jackson’s naked body — but the judge explained “certain parts” will be “blocked out.”
He didn’t explain which parts.
The judge ruled the photos are relevant under the evidence code — and are “not gruesome, graphic or inflammatory.”"
I wonder if they go to Trial or Brown shuts down the case and protects everyone….I want the Trial of only to see how much they thought to get away with…

Heath, I had to look up ANZAC day, from how I read it is like our Veterans day. Honor and remembrance of our military. That is awesome and I hope you and everyone has a great Easter too
I hope this does go to trial, I have a feeling it might because SB to me doesn’t seem to have the money to settle and I sure as hell hope that is not what the estate wants, ( money only) I mean, the estate should want to be compensated ( of course ) but I am hoping that with this case the truth and all the dirty deeds will come out, Who knows? imo it looks like SB has already been left holding the bag and maybe she will flip and save her own ass, as she should. I kind of feel sorry for her (NOT) being so stupid in her dealings with TX and SC. I think she is
. She is a Lawyer and should have known her actions were illegal or if not unethical to say the least, I hope she drops a dime on all the players including the firm members and SC members, she needs to clear her conscience and spill her guts imo. Ford and cabal took no time at all throwing her under the bus. fair is fair in dirty deals imo. SB come clean and own it.

Good Morning,HAPPY EASTER TO EVERYONE,Today being Good Friday I have to watch my thoughts,but even the Amighty got angry at times.I will admit there are no saints in the Anna Nicole saga but the time ,effort,and money spent to destroy one man goes ”WAY BEYOND” O SAD TO BAD.I myself wish there was going to be a trial,because most of the public does not blogg,or even know the true facts ,It is no longer ,turn the other cheek,because in today’s world,that cheek will get ripped off your face.To me,if SB cannot keep a Attorney,,and I am sure the Judge by now,can figure out why no Attorney wants to defend another Attorney who was so unethical,and cared more about hurting and destroying someone than her hard earned profession (LAW) and upholding that profession.With so many Attorney’s walking away from SB,gives me,my answer.HAPPY EASTER

It is a sad time for me as I am an Army Brat and the Grand Daughter and Great Grand Daughter and continuing on in the family until this generation.
But also my mother died on ANZAC day 2 years ago.. it feels a lot shorter. So the day becomes a remembrance for both my parents. I am going to spend it in the garden just pottering around and just remembering them both.
Heath, I hope you have and are having a very serene time in the garden, I remember when your mom passed and I relate to that with all of my heart!. Time does go by so fast but as you and I both know that those times in life will always feel like they were just yesterday.
honor and remembrance will always make sure they stay alive in our hearts and I believe in our children’s hearts also. 
Rose stay safe in the Tornadoes….I am glad we don’t get them here like you guys do…
