This is a new page for discussions on the Casey Anthony Case, we are glad for the help being offer to help us catch up on the allegations that Casey Anthony murderer her daughter, Caylee Anthony.
What has been suggested and we want your input. That we keep up with current filings, that on the murder case we take a month of filings and connecting the dots every week with a robust discussion. We will also separate the civil defamation suit and theft by check out of the main Anthony murder case.
We are loading up twenty-two documents on Zenaida Gonzalez vs. Casey Anthony on the Civil Defamation case, many of the depositions and such are from the same core group of those involved in the murder investigation. This will help us get a feel for this people, plus the opportunity of seeing some of the video depositions involved in the Civil Case.
I will be back in a couple of hours with the list of documents and the highlights I see in those and of course with my own questions.
I am also happy that some of our own regular posters have also stepped forward to say they have also kept up with the Casey Anthony cases, y’all to will be a giant help for all of us as we began a new major case with a lot of evidence and court filings to began the discussions.

February 27, 2009 The 306 page deposition of Lee Anthony I the civil case being served by Zenaida Gonzalez. Although this is the Civil case, Gonzalez’s attorney attempted to get into the disappearance of Caylee Anthony, the arrest of Casey Anthony and attempting to stretch the deposition into the criminal case against Casey Anthony.

Rose I wouldn’t mind a time line of the case starting with the actual time the child was missing not just when it was reported, does that make sense????

Heath, they say that the last time anybody ever saw her was June 16. George Anthony (Casey’s Dad) was the only person besides Casey

Good Morning Everyone—–I want to say,(HIP HIP HOORAY).From the first day Zenaida Gonzalez,went on TV,she had all my prayers,She seem to be forgotten in the entire mess,This woman lost her job.(she has 6 children) lost the place she was living.lost her reputation,all because of a mother /daughter battle over it seems a unwanted child.If Cindy told Casey to keep the child,even though she knew her own daughter was not mature,and stable enough to handle the responsibilty of motherhood,than Cindy should have taken full responsibilty for Clayee .This is another mother NOT willing to face up to the fact,she is responsible,in part,for what happen to Clayee.Zenaida is only trying to reccoup her reputation and live without suspicion of wrongdoing.The Anthony family,with all there lies,decite,have destroyed others lifes.This Zenaida was the only Zenaida who applied for a apartment ,where Casey said she left Calyee on the steps,I know there are more than one Zenaida Gonzalez around,but she is the only one that was at the apartment house Casey named.I am happy Zenaida is not going to be a door mat for the Anthony family the above is my opinion.
PS—-What also would make one sick,is the people sending Casey money in jail,so the dear has every little confort she wants,that money would have been better spent on sending it to Zenaida,for her 6 children to eat and have cloths.

I know I am in the minority but I really believe this woman looking for either a quick buck or her 15 minutes of fame. There were a total of 20 Zenaida Gonzalez in the area. Several were questioned. CA said this was not the same one the first time she was shown a picture. If I remember correctly she was unemployed and living in a motel when this first happened. Her legal name is Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez. If this is allowed to go forward will everyone who is investigated and cleared be able to sue? Will everyone with a similar name be able to sue? I believe the strong feelings against the Anthony Family is the only reason this has gotten this far. Should the Media and law enforcement be sued also? CA didn’t broadcast the the wrong Zenaida Gonzalez the media did. Law enforcement released the information as to who she was. Not because of the sunshine law, but in a press release. Public opinion makes bad law. JMO
GRANNY——This woman (Zenaida Gonzalez) is only asking for$15,000.00,plus her name restored,She also was the only one at the apartment complex Casey said she dropped Caylee off at and left on the stairs.If I was her I would have made a BIGGER FUSS.do you have knowledge of any other Zenaida going to that apartment house?
It doesn’t matter she was very quickly cleared as were several others. Think out of the box, should someone have the right to sue because they were questioned by the police and cleared? That is why I say that public opinion makes bad laws. In this case many think it is right for her to sue because they hate the Anthony’s. But as a matter of right is this something we want to happen in all cases of a person being investigated and cleared?
Hi Grammy, I believe ZFG is suing KC, not CA. Although I think that she should also sue the A’s as well. All she asked in the beginning was for KC to publicly say that she was not the nanny, and KC would not do so. Also, after CA said that she was not the one, she came back out after a jail visit saying that KC was never shown a picture of this particular ZFG, and continued the accusations. ZFG lost her job because of this, her children were bullied at school by the other children calling her mother a murderer, she was threatened. I think she has every right to sue, and I hope she wins. Not for the money, although that would help, but for her name back. Can you imagine being in her shoes?
Rose, have you found the actual video depositions? If not, I’ll grab the link. CA is in pure form, and I truly believe she thinks she has outsmarted everyone. Watch for the wink to BC towards the end, and when she says to ZFG something along the lines of “you’re cute and all but you’re not a 10″. GA, well, what can I say about him other than he’s lying through his teeth. And don’t get me started about him. These were very painful depositions to watch.
StarTwinkle so it is your opinion that that if someone is a suspect and are cleared they should be able to sue someone? Take the Anthony’s out of the question just anyone.

If she had identified her as the right Zenaida I would agree, however Casey A was shown her picture while in jail and she said she was not the Zenaida that took Caylee. No Grammy, I don’t think that just anyone who may be arrested and then cleared should be able to sue. It happens everyday. But when a person suffer publicly because of it, or if it was maliciously done, as was done in this case, then they should have every right to. Put yourself in her position. You went to look at an apartment, and the next thing you knew, you were being questioned in a childs disappearance, and had your face on national television. Your children were being harassed at school, you lost your job. Wouldn’t you feel like someone should be held responsible? Wouldn’t you want your name cleared? I don’t think people think she did it, but her name, and her face are still associated with this case.
I’m pretty sure that CA said KC was never shown a picture of this particular ZFG. I could be wrong tho. I have to run out as well, but I’ll see can I find it too.

If anyone watched one of Cindy Anthony’s depos,you would have seen Cindy insult Zenaida by saying the Zenaida Casey was talking about was a 10 in looks and this Zenaida was not.Not only was Cindy RUDE AND INSULTING, but a liar as well.The whole Anthony family did nothing but LIE,and dragged innocent people down to protect there family mess.
I put my mental status on the line and suffered again through the CA depo, looking for where Morgan asks about this particular ZFG, sigh, and at the last 2 minute mark is where she really gets vile. Yes Beverly, she is very rude and insulting. She really thinks she pulled one over on Morgan, but he reels her in good! I can’t find where she says “you’re not a 10″, but I know it’s there, just can’t stomach too much of her at one time. I’ll have to try again later. Ugh…

several motions. If you would like to see this LIVE, several of the local stations in Orlando carry them. I am sure alot of the good
posters here will be able to help you at that time. I really like this as you see it live without commercials as with like the major stations
reporting. I won’t be able to help that day as I am going back to The good state of Texas on emergency and not sure I will get to see it.
I plan to take my laptop with me, but with being with my 93 yr old Mother and circumstances not sure I will able to watch.
PHIL KEATING, FOX CORRESPONDENT: Yes, that is the enormous mystery right now. How did Casey Anthony conjure up this name, Zenaida Gonzalez, giving that name to investigators, taking investigators to this apartment, saying, That’s where I dropped off Caylee? Of course, that apartment had been vacant for five months.
And the only record of a Zenaida Gonzalez was someone who just inquired about renting there on June 17. That woman we just saw is that woman. She confirms that. That she voluntarily approached detectives. They interviewed her twice. They say she has no involvement.
The mother, Cindy Anthony, says going back as far as two years, she remembers her daughter, Casey, mentioning a Zenaida Gonzalez as a baby- sitter or nanny, and she says simply that’s not the Zenaida. And in fact, the sheriff’s department confirmed today they took a photo of that Zenaida Gonzalez, showed it to Casey Anthony in jail, and Casey Anthony responded, I don’t know who that is.

Ken, it seems that I remember Cindy in her deposition say to Zenada’s lawyer that Casey told her that ‘her zanny’ was better looking then this one.

Cindy said these things right in front of this lady I believe! Not sure as to the exact wording. *[This is the depo that was taped, and she walked out on them]
Cindy did describe Casey’s ‘Zanny’ from the lies that Casey told her, something about her hair being curly, ect…
That whole family is BONKERS IMO!

Larry Seidlin has a book coming out June 2010 called “The Murder of Anna Nicole Smith” IMO he is a faming seeking POS. If he truly thought Anna was murdered then why did he rule in favor of her being buried in the Bahamas!

Hi Grammy ~ Did you watch the depos? In part 4 @ 16:10, CA states she was told by police that KC had cleared ZFG in a line up, but after she met with KC, CA said KC told her she was never shown any photos. That article you linked was done in Nov 2008, the depos were done in April 2009. Watch til the end, it’s only a few minutes.
Ken ~ CA has only stated the description that KC herself had given her. She said that ZFG was a topic of conversation before Caylee went missing. She later even said that she had a phone number for her written on a post it note in her phone book, but never was able to produce it IIRC. But she has never spoken to her or ever saw her.
Beth ~ Yup! Right in front of her, actually, it was said to her. “I’m sorry mam, you’re cute and all, but you’re not a 10″! Or to that effect.
Have you read anything about the actual location that Caylee was found at and the Fernandez Gonzalez connection? It’s just a theory at this point, but each of the houses where they meet where Caylee was found, one has the last names of Fernandez and one has the name of Gonzalez.

I thought Sharon Rocha handled herself with so much class having to sit there day after day looking at Scott, and not knowing if she would ever find out just exactly how her beautiful Lacie and her grandson had died! He (Scott P.) is one big liar himself! IMO

After the judge was caught swindling an elderly woman out of money and the court room fiasco he presented during the body trial who the he– would read anything he wrote except maybe McShame and that side may have put him up to it????

Of course we did not think that you were rude. Yes, you might want to go to Rosespeaks.com and hit downloads > look for the Casey Anthoney case and there may be some court papers you have not seen. They are free to download and you do not need to be a member.
Rose has the main site, the blog (here), a chat room, and a forum. It is a great site but sadly DUE (partly) to ANS’s estranged family’s counsel all this will be ending in a few days.

Wow! I just read it! I was not aware of any of this. I’ve only been here a few days. Found your link posted elsewhere.
There’s plenty of forums to discuss the Anthony case, but I mainly post and read at ScaredMonkeys. It’s a smaller group, under 4000 members, and better moderated than anywhere I’ve read before. And everyone is very friendly. But it takes awhile for registration sometimes. You should check it out. All the documents from the Anthony case are posted in one area to keep it simple to find.

Her site has hundreds of news videos, all the hearings to date, she also tapes Nancy Grace, Issues with Jane Velez Mitchell, Prime News on HLN, etc. when they are discussing the case. She has audio interviews of witnesses, some that have not even been released by the media, but they were purchased by individuals from public records. It’s a great site, IMO.

I so totally agree with you! I even wonder if this case is being “encouraged” by the prosecution to try to get statements from Casey that they can use in her murder trial.
To attribute her losing her home to the brief investigation of her based on her name is not the case. It takes up to 4 months to be evicted from a residence and the interview the press did with her was shortly after the police had investigated and cleared her. It was conducted in a motel room because she had already gone thru the process of eviction for reasons that had nothing to do with this case.
I have yet read anywhere that anyone believes this Zenieda had anything to do with the killing of this child. She herself has kept her name in the spotlight. She has already benefitted by the exposure (i.e. a “makeover” by a TV station, job offers, offers of homes to live, etc.).
IMHO she is beating a dead horse to death.
Startwinkle [#20] I remember a TV clip during the time they were investigating the PI (?) who was digging around looking for Cayless’s body. It showed the vacant house that a Gonzalez owned and it was speculated in that clip that maybe that was where the nanny’s name was made up from in part.
Casey was telling lie after lie in that first encounter(s) with LE and pulling lies out of bits and pieces of her life at that time. Who knows what was going through her mind as she was fabricating stories on the spot during that time. She told lies about a lot of people who were cleared of involvement – should all of them sue her too? If every person that was ever investigated in connection to a crime sued someone it would be pure chaos in our courts that are already so overwhelmed these days.
I believe that the extreme hatred felt by so many people towards this family is driving people to throw away their common sense. The mob mentality of the protestors in front of the Anthony’s home was a very shameful thing to witness. I am serious when I made the statment “thank heavens lynch mobs are illegal”.
