Michelle Braun, Hollywood Madam, to be Sentenced Today – It Really was a Family Affair!

Michelle Braun the latest Hollywood Madam whose business was bigger then Heidi Fleiss, with more ex-Playmates and even some porn stars served the very rich and famous from the U. S. to overseas. Braun will be sentenced today in a federal California Court. The U. S. is recommended five (5) years probation with no more than six (6) months of house arrest.
The federal government has stated that Michelle Braun has given over her electronic black books and is helping the federal government in its ongoing investigation of whose who in Hollywood and how far reaching literally – globally, her “organization” was.
Braun has pled guilty to one felony charge of transporting a woman across state lines for the purpose of prostitution and one felony account of money laundering.
Many wondered why Braun immediately agreed to a plea bargain and to hand over her list of “Johns”. Now we know in the Civil Forfeiture part of this case.
Braun was quick to make this deal because this was truly in every sense of the word a family affair. Braun’s husband, Farrell Kellener, was listed as the president of the multiple business names for Nikki’s Girls with advertising online and a chunk of change to rent one of these girls. Braun got caught by giving service online to an undercover agent. But then she does love to be referred to as “Queen”. Braun’s sister, Mandy Gray of Bakersfield California, worked as her secretary and bookkeeper, her parents had a piece of the action, Braun kept money stashed out of the country, per filings Amsterdam seemed to be her favorite place to stash the extra case. She had a plan to flee the U. S. to a rich uncle in Mexico and then on to a country where extradition was not a guarantee. However, the most surprising family member involved was her brother, listed as a Newport Beach California attorney, however his name is alleged to be Jeff L. Braun. Braun’s brother, the attorney, told everyone he was not Michelle’s brother, and he appears to be protected hin filings as just her brother a Newport Beach Attorney, but once the U. S. government asked for the Civil Suit to be unsealed and the Stay lifted, there was her brother, listed as a “Newport Beach California attorney” who had his sister power of attorney to access her funds if needed for bail money or other expenses. Is aiding a sister in money laundering and prostitution an ethics violation in California? Hell is not reporting a crime an ethics violation in California? However, Braun being the good daughter and sister has taken the full force of the U. S. Government conviction upon herself. Next question why is Michelle Braun getting such a little bit of slap on the hands both sentence wise and property the federal government wants? Remember how much time both the previous Hollywood Madam, Heidi Fleiss and the D. C. Madam received?
You might note also that Michelle Braun’s attorney is Ellyn Garofalo of the Dr. Sandeep Kapoor of Anna Nicole Smith fame. All of this is things that make most of us go Mmmmmmmm. Remember the D. C. Madam was going to jail no if, buts or ands about it, so what is different in this family affair of prostitution, lots of money and high living in Braun’s case.

Lol, you have so many facts wrong. No wonder that Jeff Braun says HE’S not my brother, he’s not! Poor guy. And I have been estranged from from Farrell since June of last year. I wouldn’t cal him my husband. And could you at least spell my last name right my crazy ex-boyfriend who sent in the quote (you know who you are psycho)? It’s Braun not BrUan! For those of you that need to know, in the end I got 3 years probation and a $200 special assessment. I’m happy it’s over. : )
Oh, and my attorney is Marc Nurik. Ellen just appeared on his behalf when he couldn’t make a court date. He’s even better than her, currently he’s representing Scott Rothstein in a huge case out of Florida. Great job Marc, you are terrific! : )

How did WV get Anna Nicole’s and Howard K Stern’s SS# not to mention this wannbe PI was soliciting a blogger to look into/pull info on those #’s. IS IT NOT ILLIGEL TO SHARE SS #’s WITH OTHERS? What was it she was expecting to find, and furthermore who authorized WV to do such a thing?

Miss Braun, if you are the real Michelle Braun you can email me any government documents in the criminal or civil cases against you where the court said you “ran a legitimate” business, because everything I have pulled on your case says otherwise and you are cooperating by giving ppl up to get a lighter sentence… So why plead guilty and hand over money and property to the government if you ran a legitimate business. Now that could get very interesting… and wasn’t you bail revoked at one time and you were arrested stayed in jail and the extradited to California?

I was NEVER charged with a crime. I plead to an information. I pushed for it to END the investigation. Why? Very simple…to stop the FBI from harassing the people with whom I did business for 11 years and formed very close friendships in their quest to build a mountain out of a molehill. They obtained the search warrant based on a claim from my former brother-in-law that I had 10M in cash in my basement. Thankfully I didn’t have a basement! So they don’t look so good after a 7 year investigation and start knocking on doors. Nobody needs to be put in the position to explain to their significant other why the FBI is standing outside asking questions! So I took a bullet for my friends and family. And they got some money, believe me there’s more to life than money it can be earned over and over quite easily if you have half a brain. As far as cooperation, yeah I agreed to answer their questions and I did. I answered honestly, don’t know nothing about nobody. I minded my own business and that is why I did it so good.
Rose & Beth regardless where those SS #’s came from WV had no business giving them to any old JoeSchmoe Blogger I’m sorry but she [WV] has crossed the line.
Oh actually Beth that Blogger is claiming WV called her home and gave her Anna & Howard’s SS #’s and along with a docket # for something with California. Oh and this blogger is claiming she is not the only Blogger WV was soliciting. WV did not deny doing this but thinks nothing illegal was done when I read her response all I could think was WTF who the is guiding or training this woman.
And I don’t know why Marc had Ellen appear on my behalf but she did one time. However Marc has been my lawyer since October 2007 when this all started to unfold. He lives in Florida, yes, as do I. And you are correct I was arrested on a pretrial bond violation and extradited from Florida to California because of poor communication between myself and the Florida pretrial supervision officer. Spent 3 weeks in federal custody, 6 different prisons, flew Con Air twice…what a journey. Got to California and the judge (the same judge who sentenced me today) let me go. So glad it is over but that part of my life has been behind me already for over 2 years! I’m not here for an interview just clarifying the facts.
Rose, Michelle is a decent human being, she is very protective of her family and has tried to do well. She is a decent human being and anyone who has gone through what she has would want all of this to stop. As for those who dont like what she did or how she did it too bad…..I know her and she is fun and I cannot imagine anyone meeting her and not liking her. Some may not like her as she is a very smart gal and will land on her feet at some point. She had some of the best legal talent money could buy and I for one am glad that she survived, and she survived because she is strong willed. To my knowledge she never hurt anyone.

It always seems to me that others in these types of cases get off scott free and usually,I will use the term Madam for convience,no offense meant Michelle, usual get the brunt of everything .What she did or did not do means nothing now as long as it is over with.To Bad she couldn’t name brown as a customer LOL
I personally don’t give a damn who did what. I don’t disapprove of what type business Ms. Braun ran. She had women who didn’t mind spreading their legs for money and men who didn’t mind paying for a pretty woman to do that for them. All adults in agreement of what was going on. However, the fact is she broke the laws in the state she ran her business. Just because she may be a nice, fun woman doesn’t mean she shouldn’t be held accountable for breaking those laws. I’m sure she went into that business knowing full well what the laws were and what the consequences could be if caught. That part of her life may be over for HER but my understanding is that it is still ongoing for some. I could be wrong about that. After all, we know not everything we read in the media is 100% accurate. This article went most of the day with only 1 comment. It’s got a low number now and I’m pretty sure that’s because, really, no one give a damn one way or the other. But, what the hell do any of us know. We’re all just a bunch of dumbass women…..

1. Ok folks she likes to be called “Queen” or “Her Majesty” that alone tells me a lot about her
2. I picked up this story from an AP alert and because of the DC Madam followed it and have been for months, check the download section.
3. There is the little bit about allowing her to travel to New York (some SEC suit that she is involved with as a defendant in yet another federal court). That case involves a lot of ppl and got put on hold because the New Federal Judge died in office and the last I check they were just then sorting out and sending the cases to other judges and I think it was the SEC that filed to consolidate all of these cases in this situation. I really don’t have any reason to not believe that the business Nikki’s Girls was at that time ran by Braun
4. I know of no psychotic boyfriend and have not been contacted by any. I googled Braun – attorney – New Port Beach and came up with one name. I have been contacted by four different sources that express fear out of what she could and would do to them. All of them said she is narcissistic and that she demands ultimate loyalty and have no fear of telling them if they crossed her what would happen, and she seems to me to be capable of that. She seems to be bragging today she is never ignorant and stays a step ahead on the feds. Come on folks anyone that refers to themselves as “Her Majesty” and demands that others do as well, is just not my cup of tea IYKWIM
5. I have been contacted by multiple ppl who truly seem to be afraid of her and what she can do with her money and who she knows…

I have also be told and found the source reliable (that fear factor ppl can’t fake) that she left a “succession” plan in place and supposedly it has been running, never missed a beat and “The Queen” never missed her cut as it continued on, it just keeps raking that cash in and her percentage continues and has all of this time so she had to be smart to do that I will give her that credit… Those big powerful lawyers don’t come cheap nor do they just “give their time to a “Madam”… However it would appear from the sources she didn’t take a bullet for ALL of her old “friends”.
7. IMO this is about power, money, fear, succession plans etc. to keep the money coming in and possibly a not too bright FBI to miss this if it is true. I will let “The Queen’s” own words speak to that.
8. If you have the money and she seems to have plenty of it, then you don’t do the time… we all know justice “cough cough” is for those who can afford it…
And folks for all we know Nazarian and Associates knows her from a “business point”??? You know not hands on or involved in “The Queen’s” business but to keep those skeletons that might embarrass some ppl in the those closets.. Remember the New York governor who had to resign only to never have been indicted. You know business is business and fun is fun.
My personal opinion matches Roxanne’s, she has the girls, the guys have the money as long as she paid her girls and did not rule by fear of what she could do to them, (which some sources said she does rule with fear, she did not pay some, she left a succession plan in place of which she still get a lot of moolah), Then let the good times roll.
It is after all the oldest profession known to man… they should legalize it and tax it…

When I read Rose’s comment a few articles back that she was going to write a article about Michelle Braun and her brother is a California attorney, I sure wasn’t thinking about a attorney in New Port Beach, I was thinking LA, the Braun name like Harland and I think Adam is his son, I could be wrong, ( But they look so much alike ) and Adam is Dr. Khristine Eroshevich’s atty. and now I read the coincidence is Ellyn Garofalo Dr. Sandeep Kapoor’s attorney., I was so thinking something else imo. I think Harland and Adam are well respected defence attorney in So. Cal. I always have.

The FBI should be focusing on their most wanted list not the oldest profession, as long as it is with consenting adults and no one gets hurt I could give a crap what people do behind close doors.

As for Virgie’s remark on Geraldo ”if you love someone you would get them off drugs” her solution when it came to Anna was like you said “send her away” and let someone else deal with the problem. You are right what did Virgie do to help her daughters, from what we have seen or read she did nothing unless it involved money and once Anna refused to hand out money to the family she/they found other ways even if it meant stabbing Anna in the back. As I have said before, it’s no wonder Anna was estranged not only from her mother but her entire family.

Whatever Ms. Braun was charged with she was arrested and she hired a lawyer and from the penalty this was not a huge case. She paid her taxes and ran a business. Lets just wish her the best in the years to come. For some I can see the issue, she is pretty, smart and at one time had a ton of money.
Knowing her as I do, she is still very attractive, she is even smarter now then before and I predict that she will do just fine in time with the issue of ‘Benjamin Franklin’, lets just wish her well!

I will agree with you in reference to Sex, Money & Celebrities sell but not every Pretty Girl will sell themselves short just to be part of some story. I have two very beautiful daughters who have said for all the money in the world they would never do what some Celebrities or even just Pretty Girls do in order to be noticed or become famous. Ha a few years ago some sleazy stripe club owner approached my youngest and told her she had what it takes all she had to do was come in for an interview, my girl told him never and to take a hike. Yeah he tried to convince her she would/could make a lot of money but as she told him, one her Mama raised her better and two she has more pride and self-respect for herself then to ever think of that line of work. Oh and at the time, she was a single mother and lucky to be making 8 bucks an hour. Therefore, you see the mention/flashing of money does not buy every Pretty Girl, at least not ones with morals.

McCabe claims that big bad CBS slipped in its ‘reply’ to VA’s ‘response’ to CBS’s MSJ at TWO minutes after 5 p:m last Friday thereby preventing McCabe from ‘curing’ alleged deficiencies pointed out by CBS before a hearing scheduled yesterday. So, McCabe files a Motion yesterday for more time to battle big bad CBS (asking for 30 days) but also files the ‘surreply’ he claimed to need 30 days to craft. The Clerk’s Office even posts CBS’s ‘reply’ on its website with a 5:02 p:m time stamp to help make McCabe’s point.
So, McCabe didn’t need 30 days; 2 minutes after 5 made no difference; and the Clerk’s Office looks foolish for having including the time of the CBS filing.
McCabe in his surreply drops reference to the irrelevant statement of QV but it’s otherwise the same ‘ole same ‘ole. He persists in his preposterous notion that his colluding defendant RT is ‘key’ to the allegations against AH concerning the ‘prison’ interview as well as bloggers’ comments on AH’s site and emails where people used phrases like ‘destroy VA’ and ‘dig VA dirt’.
Now if Katie Couric had opened the CBS news with statements like CBS is out to destroy VA, etc., McCabe might have a point; otherwise get over your petty fantasies and pay out sufficient damages to ‘cure’ the immense problems caused by the ‘bloggers’ lawsuit.

While I was a cop I seldom ever enforced prostitution violations as I found that ‘most’ of the time they were victimless crimes……dont trip running for another log to throw on the fire, I said most of the time. Mendota during the ’season’ has at times more prostitutes than San Franciso it seemed……’selective’ enforcement is what it is called and is very common in many jurisdictions. One great example is what ‘motor officers’ do, mostly give tickets to traffic violators….selectively.
Ooops, I almost forgot, there is little difference in being ‘ bitchy ‘ and ‘prickish’ that is what I think, who would disagree?

Anyone who thinks LE doesn’t selectively enforce the law is just being naive. Hypothetically right or wrong aside – it’s how the world works. I suspect everyone has been relieved to get a warning instead of a ticket at one time or another.
