ok my weekly 2 cents worth:
Anna– Yes her doctor is responsible for prescribing a lethal mixture of drugs. I am fully aware that the majority of the drug levels in Anna’s system were within normal limits. It was the mixture of drugs, the low resistance of her system and another fatal swig of CH. I still have not heard anything about when the drugs were in Stern’s name. After Daniel’s death? Prior to Daniel’s death or years before Daniel died. If one wants to charge each enabler, then many more people have to be charged than just those 3. From the doctors, family members, pharmacisits right on down to the friends that allowed the drugs to be delivered at their house. I can’t say that I lay all the blame on Taz or Moe head for Anna’s death. I just don’t appreciate the fact that their stories changed from what was told to LE and Dr. Perper. I think Taz and Moe decided what to say so that they would have a united front. I am torn about the release of one picture. Ansd that is the one that had Anna holding a dead Daniel. Seeing that picture made me realize the depth of Anna’s despare. But what a horrible thing to do to the memory of a “friend” The others pictures we have found to be released in a certain context to imply a drugged out Anna. So bad that she was throwing up on herself. IIRC, this was suppose to be her death picture until it was fully analized. Thank God Stern still had a copy of the original. VA is no saint either. When she couldn’t remember which side of her son’s head was shot, I just shook my head. I think that woman was a mother and never knew how to be a mommy. I also think she was jealous of Anna. For the life of me, I can’t understand any mother accepting her young daughter marrying and old old man. And at least in my opinion, it shows to what depth she is willing to let things go in order to gain money. If I had been Anna, I would have been pissed off also. How dare she have a memorial service for Daniel and to get paid for it to boot! Sell his pictures… cha…..ching. Again, IMO, Anna walked away from her family because she kept getting used.

Jackson: Talk about a doctor being responsible for a death. This idiot inserts a IV line into his patient arm, gives him a dose of this drug and then leaves the room. For 2 minutes? I don’t know. It doesn’t matter. Jackson is dead. His death ruled a homicide. And caused by the hand of another. Then spends 47 minutes on his cell phone BEFORE 911 is even called. Sound familar? I want JB to go after these doctors and charge them for everything he can. I have to back off for a bit.

DR E is the one who arrange the names on the drugs like she did to people she did not even treated so she put HS name and he did not say any thing because he know it is for Anna’s good is the doctor she went out her way to get the medication

rose, thanks. btw, I got side-tracked and meant to tell you I can relate about your eyes. I am prone to eye infections, use 2 diff drops daily.no mascara, no hypoallergenic eye repair lol.Anyway, unless you’ve experienced “it” even a splinter of it you really can’t imagine.. it is like my son said, one the first time I was “hospitalized” due to a psycholic break…sh*t happens. Sure glad I wasn’t Anna. oh, I saw a HUGE bomb drop the other day. Haven’t seen it in print yet.

As far as the pot being made available to those in pain who it is prescribed to, I really believe if it helps them deal with the pain, then go for it BUT it would be really hard to control who ends up with pot in the end. Many different avenues have to be looked at and the repercussions from each angle have to be taken into consideration. For myself, it would not work. I would get a damn migraine just from smoking the stuff. Been there, done that in my youth.

I can tell that you blame Moe and Taz. I agree they were suppose to be the medical professionals on site, however just like Murray, I wouldn’t let neither of them treat my dog. The excuses that were made by both of them should have them banned from working in the medical field for the remainder of their lives. As far as the mother, apparently Anna didn’t forget the words or actions that her mother did. That is something that the woman will have to live with if she has any kind of conscious at all.

Dr E, should have backed off for a number of reasons. Since she was friends with Anna, she should have refused to treat her. If she actually had a sexual relationship with Anna, morally, she should have backed off in any treatment of Anna. If she had an ounce of brains, she should have backed off when she had been warned about the mixture of the drugs she was ordering. I think she was feeling so flatter to be a part of Anna’s life (and maybe Howard’s) that she was blinded toeverything else especially her Hippocratic Oath.

If VA would have not done her daughter wrong for years, sold her out, kept wanting from her to where it ended up Anna cut her off for over ten years…
they (TX) might have had a shot on the Will part at least.
Maybe some type of % of control of funds for DL… But the only one to blame for the estrangement is the actions of VA and Anna’s aunt that leaked that video of her and old man Marshall for the few bucks they got paid for it!
I think that is when Anna said NEVER AGAIN! That on top of her estranged mom’s actions over the years was the last straw it seems to me.
I laugh when I read the VAS state absurd remarks like VA was shut out of Anna’s life because she did not agree with her lifestyle…
LOL NO, Hell look at how her mother lived her life! It was ONLY due to the out and out HARM Anna’s family did to her for: MONEY!

Broadcasters lose sight what merits news

My lawyer father advised me to believe nothing I hear and only half of what I see. That advice serves me well while viewing nationally televised newscasts. What a load of baloney! Even worse, those shoveling the baloney claim to be giving viewers what we want to see and hear. Say what?
When it comes to today’s news, no news is good news. If the news is good, it’s not considered news and isn’t aired. If the news is sensationally bad, it rates 24-hour coverage. While I think all current newscasts are dreadful – who knew we’d be longing for Brinkley and Cronkite? – 24-hour cable channels like CNN and Fox are clearly the worst because of the opinions voiced by their talking heads (almost all of whom claim to be lawyers, prosecutors or judges).
During occasional bouts of insomnia, I sometimes turn on TV. Even with 244 channels, there’s not a lot worth watching in the wee hours of the morning. I don’t give a flip about Howard K. Stern, Anna Nicole Smith’s companion and lawyer, but if he isn’t guilty of the acts that late-night TV lawyers insinuated he committed (e.g., double murder), I hope he sues the pants off them. Most lawyers are cautious about what they say publicly, but not these TV legal eagles. Dad’s frequent comment that many people’s mouths are in motion before their brains are in gear certainly applies to them; if they think it, they say it.

Even the big three networks focus on celebrities at the expense of hard news. With all that’s going on in the world today, do you really think a half-hour newscast needs stories about Paris Hilton’s jail term or Britney’s child custody woes?

Consider this line: “We interrupt this story which is coming from Iraq, cuz Rosie’s suing Donald, Donald’s suing Rosie back.” Or this one: “We’re cutting from Darfur – we’re in Des Moines with urgent news: ‘There’s a finger in my food!’” The song also refers to “… mindless ballyhoo that’s turned our brains to goo!”

Another problem is that television anchors and reporters don’t seem real to me. It’s a rare TV personality who has a bald head or crooked teeth or an out-of-shape body. (I miss you, Charles Kuralt!)

But while all TV personalities look fantastic, not all of them are the brightest bulbs in the pack. Take the pert and pretty young woman on a Kansas City TV station who reported a gruesome murder. She concluded her report by saying about the victim, “Both her legs were decapitated.”

I couldn’t resist sending the station an e-mail suggesting that management might want to tell their reporter that only heads can be decapitated. The e-mail I received in reply showed management had a sense of humor. “We know. She didn’t. We should have caught it. Our bad.”

During the height of the Anna Nicole drama playing out 24/7 on television, I asked husband Ray, who sleeps through late-night TV, if he had read about it in the paper. “A little,” he said, “not too much.”

That’s because you’re more likely to get hard news in print. Sure, you’ll find opinion pieces – clearly marked as the writer’s opinion – and comics, cartoons, articles and columns like this one that provide light reading. But the best thing about newspapers is this: If any of the editors and reporters are lawyers, prosecutors or judges, they’re keeping it to themselves.
