Hollywood Madam “Nici” Michelle Braun Pleads Guilty and is Let Out of Jail to Play!

Following her arrest on May 28, 2009 for not keeping the terms of her bond, the Hollywood Madam, Michelle Braun, also known as “Nici” arrived at court in California on June 19 with her very own U. S. Marshals picking her up in Florida, holding her there and then bringing her to California last week.
In notes from the June 19 hearing held in U. S Central District Federal Court of California the Honorable Cormac J. Carney accepted Braun’s plea of guilty on two counts of felonies and the Judge stated in his Order on Friday, June 19, 2009 that, “The Court ORDERS the preparation of a Presentence Report. Sentencing set for 10/19/2009 10:00 AM”. The presentence report is to be sent to the Court one week before sentencing.
However, the real kicker here is that Judge Cormac J. Carney also issued the following stating in the proceedings, “Defendant, [Michelle Braun a/k/a Nici], Ordered released from custody forthwith under same terms and conditions of bond approved 05/11/09.” That would be the same bond and terms of release under the bond that she failed to follow the first time around…. Mmmmmmmmmm who does she know or who is she ratting out? The judge also slipped in this little tidbit, “Court vacates status conference date and trial date as “to this defendant only”. So far Hollywood Madam, Michelle Braun, is the only one charged in this investigation but she has been cooperating with the federal government with any federal agency that “wants” her to talk, so perhaps that bought her a get out of jail free card. Will we see more indictments over the summer? Who will “Nici” take down with her? Why does the federal Court Judge Carney thinks she will abide by the terms of staying out of jail with her bond will work this time around? Has he read the report from Florida about what all Braun has NOT done per the bond agreement?
Braun, affectionately called the Hollywood Madam is out to frolic with her girls and her favorite clients and those she loves. She refers to Tommy Lee of Motley Crue as “her boy”, and that she just loves him so much in her photo album, he appears to be much closer to Nici then Nikki Sixx of the Motley Crue. What’s in your pocket Tommy Lee?
We are going to stay on top of this story as we unravel who all Braun knows, one rumor says she has one of the past President’s Bush on speed dial, any bets as to which one?

Good work as usual Rose! Your way ahead of the media. They still think the plea change was occurring on the 29th! lol
Also remember this, she has a very good lawyer, one of the best in the country when it comes to cases like this, Mark Nurik, Esq. Also, she is the mother of two children who need her and believe me, she loves those kids. This whole incident has caused her more sleepless nights than anyone could imagine. Punishment does not have to be locked up punishment, it can come in so many fashions, all meant to make the receiver miserable. No question that she has to be nuts to be in the business she chose but for sure she had it down to a science and was very good at it. And for cooperating with the U.S. Government, they already know who the freaks and the kings of kink are already…LOL
and for this group they all have money and along with money comes power and access, enough said.
Perhaps her business skills could have helped GM or GE for that matter, and dont throw stones at her, what she is accused of continues in this country and is accepted as entertainment. And spare me also all the comments about ‘madams’ and the like, she provided a service that many many, too many to mention used and enjoyed. And she paid all her taxes leave her alone.

If she pays her taxes and it appears her girls pay their taxes… and this is one of the oldest professions around… why not have the rich guys who want these “services” pay an entertainment tax and let that go for something good like improving schools are health aide for children not insured or to rebuild our infrastructure… a lot to do for the good of the country with an entertainment tax and then maybe there would be less women on the streets just trying to get by one more night…
I still have more respect for Heidi for NOT turning over her “John” list. Yes, oldest profession. Yes, she paid her taxes on what she claimed (I personally do not know what amount she claimed she made and what she actually made) This still doesn’t make it legal in her state that she did business in. Maybe all these rich and powerful johns should legalize this great service across the nation?

I guess the only way it would have been legal is if one of the cable networks would have given Michelle Braun a Reality Show like the one HBO did with Dennis Hof who runs the World Famous Bunny Ranch! Then again, I guess it would have been somewhat boring watching a show with the faces of her Rich & Famous Who is Who clientele being blurred out and names changed to protect the innocent.
Little tidbit…
Dennis Hof endorsed Hillary Clinton in her 2008 Presidential Campaign; wow all those men who unknowingly supported Hillary with the money they spent at the Bunny Ranch.
JMA, Michelle was in the midst of her own tv show “The Girls of Ocean Drive” when she got busted. She got a $20,000 advance for the show. And get this, she was to play the part of the madam! Also, she was penning a tell-all book on her computer. This was the same computer the FBI seized.

Got mixed feelings about this. On one hand I say let the woman be. She hurt no one and no one was forced to use her services. She paid her taxes and seems that for the most part she followed the law. (Ooops on the small fact that it is still illegal by law where she was at.)On the other hand she broke the law by conducting her business in a state where it is illegal to do so. I’m sure had she gone out to Carson City she could have given The Bunny Ranch a run for their money. The men and women who used her services are very rich and I don’t really think it would have made a difference where she was at. They would have still used it.

This is always my thought/question any time a Madam is busted. Is the real reason because of the fact that it is illegal in some states or is it to expose their clientele. I am curious due to every time we hear of a Madame being busted the guest list/visitors list/black book is always wanted.
Also in reference to the Bunny Ranch and it, being located in a state where it is legal is there ever any interest as to whether any of their clientele is part of the Who is Who or Rich & Famous.
I don’t know but it is very well regulated in Neveda. Medical examinations, tests, clean bill of health or you won’t be turning any tricks for a period of time. I would like to know why most of the time when they get busted, they offer their little black book. Is the government going to go after anyone in the book for paying for sex? Do they not need to be caught in the act of solicitating? (sp) As far as this one having kids, I wonder what her children think of their mother.
Seems to me Nevada has the right Idea those girls have checkups and are checked for std maybe if like was said it was made legal their would not be a need for a little black book ,no matter who was in it,At least things in Nevada are kept clean and taxes are paid honestly.But it would have to be a stste thing not a federal each state would have to ok it. I would bet anything that their are some high ranking religious people in those black books.If she really has an ex president in her black book she sure has a get out of jail card free
I think it is only legal in certain parts of Nevada also. I don’t think it’s everywhere. Like Las Vegas, from my understanding, it’s illegal there.

She plays the victim and a lot of guys fall for it. Even some who should know better. But, if it makes you feel like you’ve accomplished something by coming to her rescue, go ahead. There’s one born every minute.
Joe, I totally agree. This woman plays the victim whenever it suits her. This is her second bust for prostitution related charges. She is not a nice person.
