Thanks for the update on this story Rose. Looking good for Mrs. Carnaby and her case. I’m wondering if the crash of the news helicopter killing the newsmen who covered this killing has been tied into this case in any way? Probably, it’s another case where all the evidence will not be available to the public, as far as his connections to the CIA, etc. I also wonder if Wayne Madsen will quit investigating and commenting on the case. So many unanswered questions…..

No matter how many times I watch this video the police depts report does not make sense.It appears he was slammed down and then shot and all four of these officers should be reprimanded or let go.

I know this is off topic but this is the second time something like this has happened,one case where the person was claimed to be brain dead and revived and now this story.God works in mysterious ways.http://michellemalkin.com/2008/11/20/the-miracle-of-haleigh-poutre/. That said I agree we will or maybe won’t all be surprised at what comes out in this case.Texas needs to do a real change in their policies regarding hiring of police officers,how they are trained and if they are allowed to think for themselves instead of just follow orders

This case interests me. How convenient to suddenly ‘question/blame’ your department’s training processes. Scape goat? I’m glad Rose is covering this case. Discipline was VERY late and I wonder if these same people that suddenly disciplined had anything to do with the process being dropped with the grand jury earlier. That did seem like a VERY sudden grand jury decision without even knowing the CIA had the computer at that time. Anyways///

The FBI released their 2008 Bank Robbery/Extortion Stats for Aprl 1, 2008 to June 30, 2008 and mine wasn’t on there? I wonder why not?

Texas jury indicts Cheney, Gonzalez in prison abuse case

WASHINGTON (AFP) — A Texas grand jury has issued indictments against Vice President Dick Cheney and former attorney general Alberto Gonzalez over abuse at privately run prisons, court documents showed.

The three-page indictment Tuesday alleges that Cheney profited from the abuse because he invested 85 million dollars in a mutual fund company which holds shares of for-profit prisons.

It said this is a “direct conflict of interest” because Cheney had influence over the federal contracts awarded to the prison companies.

The indictment also accused Cheney of committing “at least misdemeanor assaults” of inmates by allowing other inmates to assault them.

The indictment further alleges that Gonzalez “participated by further having used his position … to stop the investigations as to the wrong doings which includes the assaults committed in the prison for profit in Willacy County, Texas.”

Cheney and Gonzalez were charged with engaging in organized criminal activity…
