It is my hope that together today we are going to answer the last few questions floating out there about Daniel Smith. What insight do they give us to the Inquest; and what do we know about Daniel Smith.
In our member Peppermint’s travels around the internet, she has bumped into questions still being put out there as “lingering doubts”. ‘Many of the people question Howard K. Stern’s involvement still.
Some of them in my [Peppermint’s] opinion are not even valid, stemming from rumors and were never reported on in the media including the infotainment sector. Many of them are simply a ‘write-off’ or are purely subjective. Many posters may not know if something has already been proven or proved untrue.
Can the members of this site with our combined knowledge of the case and letting google be our friend solve these questions or debunk them.
If even ONE person realizes the truth, it is worth it using the combined talents of this site to find the answers or to debunk these questions.
How should we do this?
Remaining questions regarding Daniel Smith and/or Daniel’s Inquest:
2. Before attending community college was Daniel Smith in private schools, public schools, or home schooled at any time growing up? Where did Daniel Smith go to school or who was his home tutor/teacher?
Answer: Chelsey Leon, 17, who attended the same private school as Daniel until 10th grade. Anna Nicole Smith mentioned that on Larry King Live in 2002

3. Where is Daniel’s girlfriend that broke up with him?
Answer: Per In Touch on October 9, 2006, Daniel’s girl friend was “Mya or is it Mia”. She was older than Daniel and they dated a few months.
Per one of Daniel’s friends, Jonathan Hipolito “Dan-Dan seemed to get really attahced to girls who broke his heart”.
4. Is Ray Martino going to testify at the Inquest and if not why doesn’t he want to testify?
Answer:From what I have read, Mr. Martino has a fear of flying and because of that; he could not attend Daniel or Anna Nicole Smith’s funeral. He did turn over the backpack of Daniel Smith to the Bahamas police, where they found more prescriptions meds although not in Daniel Smith’s name. In my opinion, because Daniel was in the hospital for valium misuse and was in ICU, he might be afraid when ruled accidental, the court might find that he was accidentally negligent. Thus probably a good move on his part not to go. In the only account that claims to have a copy of the police report, Ray Martino says the following; “Daniel landed in the hospital twice – shortly before Smith moved to the Bahamas and on the same day she arrived, according to the report. Martino told police he “noticed that Daniel was losing weight,” and when Daniel complained of stomach cramps and back pains in July Martino took him to the hospital. Later in the month, on July 18, Daniel complained of the same symptoms and Martino rushed him to the hospital, where he spent three days. At some point, Martino found in Daniel’s school bag a bottle of the antidepressant Zoloft, which had been prescribed to one of Smith’s former employees.

10. Why did Howard K. Stern call G. Ben Thompson around 8AM the morning of Daniel’s death when a code “blue” was not sounded until 9:40AM? Who said Howard K. Stern called G. Ben Thompson at 8 AM that morning? Why did G. Ben Thompson not get to the hospital until 10 AM if he was called at 8 AM? What would cause G. Ben Thompson to take 2 hours to get to the hospital when Horizons is only 20 minutes from the hospital?

11. Has Jack Harding been changing his story during the last year or just adding more details? How did Howard K. Stern find out about Jack Harding meeting with Daniel Smith? Was Howard K. Stern or anyone else having Daniel followed? What interview and date did Jack Harding say Don Clark had contacted him and offered to pay all of his expenses if he would go to the Bahamas and testify at the Inquest? Does this make Jack Harding more credible or less?
Answer: On Jack Harding’s initial statemet Feb. 23, 2007, he stated that he told police that last year Daniel expressed to him “His concern about the kind of persons his mother was associating with.” Daniel also said, “He did not like the idea that she was moving to the Bahamans” and that he “felt that her associates were taking advantage of her.” This would imply to me that “associates” Daniel was concerned about might be new friends who stated they were like family and offering his mom a free home in the Bahamas. Let’s remember he was Anna Nicole’s rock, and mature for his age. If it were my mom, free home would appear to be a red flag with all that had used Daniel’s mother before. Also Anna Nicole Smith moving to the Bahamas seemed to upset him. We know he met Jack Harding in June or early July 2006, Howard K. Stern was in California, so there would be no need to go out of state to investigate him. This be another BINGO moment here? The only people out of state that was moving his mother further away was the G. Ben Thompson and Ford Shelley crew. Perhaps Daniel Smith picked up bad vibes from them during his holiday visit in 2005. Again though, why would Daniel Smith want to have Howard K. Stern checked out it was not Howard K. Stern that was shoveling drugs down Anna Nicole Smith during that last trimester of her pregnancy, it was Laurie Payne, and the Ben Thompson group.

By March 9, 2007 Inside Exclusive, Jack Harding was saying it was Howard K. Stern, but that Jack Harding only met Daniel Smith one time.
12. Did the Inquest jurors watch the whole security tape of the hospital from before Daniel Smith arrived until the tape stopped the next morning before the code blue was sounded? Did the security tape show G. Ben Thompson leaving the hospital between midnight and 1 AM on the morning Daniel died?

On January 31, 2008, The Bahama Journal said the Inquest was delayed until March 17, when the last four witnesses, including Dannielynn’s father Larry Birkhead. I belived that Larry Birkhead had intended to be at the Inquest in January but had the flu and could not attend, thus the Inquest was put off to accomodate Mr. Birkhead and three other witnesses to testify, including Howard K. Stern.

The web surfing of our member Peppermint has brought these mind-exercising questions to you. Once our members complete the research on each set of questions we will include those answers, create a PDF file and make them available in our download section as a quick reference guide.
We did have to change some of the questions to be mental exercises and not directed at lynching any of the main people involved in the multiple litigations, investigations, attorneys, doctors, witnesses or family members etc.
Once we have these last few questions answered we will add the other ones from the debunking the questions on Daniel Smith article. I hope with the help of our members we can finish this today and have the combined articles up in PDF format for ALL visitors to have, not just registered ones.
Then back to the clown video. In my opinion, when you find out who is in it I think it will rock your foundation on who was trying to promote Anna Nicole Smith and for what.
I know I had a ton of questions just like when I found out that Virgie Arthur had an agent to attack her daughter, and was “keen on keeping the family feud out in the public” just six short days after Daniel Smith’s death. Am I the only one that notice that her agent was at the gave again on January 31 to capture that same ole picture for Splash.
When I found out who was in this clown video and who was at the party, it put the Ford Shelley S. C. crew in such a different scenario about the “closeness” they had with Anna Nicole Smith.
Another hint, to the best of my knowledge and what sources I have contacted, the clown video was not an audition for an E pilot or “treatment” and had nothing to do with yesterday’s article.

JACK HARDING, PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR: Well, he contacted me, and he was really concerned about his mother, someone taking control over his mother`s life, and that was Stern. He told me that he was afraid of Stern and that he was feeding his mother drugs and that he was acting like some kind of Svengali and that his mother was receiving some kind of mind-bending drug.
The boy was very concerned, and so I became concerned. And I didn`t take the case at that time because he said he was going to get back to me, and I hadn`t seen him for a couple of weeks since that time. And he did tell me that he had a nightmare, and this is what spurred him into talking to me, in that the nightmare was he saw his mother in a coffin.

HAMMER: Now my explosive interview with the private investigator Daniel Smith supposedly spoke with before he died. I asked PI Jack Harding if he thought that Anna Nicole`s death and her son, Daniel`s, were linked.

HAMMER: A lot of people have suggested the deaths are connected, there is a relation between the two deaths.
What are you thinking?
HARDING: I think that could be true.

HAMMER: Wait; there`s more. Harding also told me about Daniel fearing for his and his mother`s safety, and a recollection of a frightening dream – a nightmare in which Daniel envisioned his mom, Anna Nicole, dead.

HAMMER: First of all, tell us when Daniel first contacted you, and why did he say he wanted to speak with you in the first place?
HARDING: Well, he contacted me – oh, four – about four months now – it`s been a little while. And he wanted to talk to me because he felt that Stern was giving his mother mind-bending drugs and he was in control of her faculties, and he was being pushed out of the picture – or the family picture all together.
He would make phone calls to his mother, and if Stern picked up the phone and found out it was Danny, he would hang up on him continually. And Danny said that there was a standing order to anyone in the household, if he called, to hang up on him. And as I said before, he loved his mother, and he wanted to get her off of these drugs. And he said especially these mind-bending drugs that Stern had been feeding her.
And I asked him why did he decide to come to see me, and he told me that the night before, he had this weird dream that his mother was in a coffin and she looked grey. And he started – his eyes started to swell up – no – no regular tears, but he started to – his eyes started to swell up, and he started to shake up a little. And he was upset about that. And he wanted to prove to his mother that he could take care of her, and that he was a man – you know, he was a man – you know, he was man enough to do it.
And so I said, `Well, what do you want me to do?` And he says, `I want you to` – `I`d like you to be able to go down to the Bahamas and perform a criminal investigation on Stern and his` – and he did use this term – `cohorts.`
HAMMER: Daniel did say to you, as – as you mentioned, that he was concerned that Howard K. Stern was being very controlling of his mom.
How did Daniel actually feel about the guy? I mean, obviously that wouldn`t have boded for – for his feelings towards Stern. But what else did he tell you in terms of how he personally felt about him? Because obviously, he was very much in his mother`s life, and he was very much somehow connected to Daniel`s life.
HARDING: Yes.
Well, he – he told me that he felt that Stern was – and this attorney said (ph) – Stern is – is like this guy that was in Russia that was controlling the king and queen. I said, `You mean the czar?` And he – he said, `Yes.` I said, `Svengali?` He says, `Yes. He`s a Svengali. A Svengali. That`s what he says. He`s in control of my mother.`
HAMMER: And as a result of – of being in control of his mother, and as a result of – of his feelings that Howard K. Stern was in fact giving Anna these mind-altering drugs, did – did he say to directly that he was afraid his mother`s life was in fact in danger?
HARDING: He felt his mother`s life was in danger. He felt that his life was in danger, or anyone that – that dealt with Anna Nicole who was friendly with her, who tried to help her, he – he felt that.
As a matter of fact, when I was talking to him, and he was looking at the restaurant windows, and sort of at times looking around – and when I see someone doing that, that sort of indicates to me that he feels someone`s watching him.
HAMMER: We do know that Daniel died of a lethal mix of prescription drugs.
Did you have any indication, Jack, when – when you met Daniel and when you spoke with him, that he had been taking any kind of drugs?
HARDING: Not at all. As a matter of fact, as I have said before, the boy was coherent. He – he – he wasn`t really weak at that time. He didn`t stumble; he didn`t slur. If you`ve been around people who have been taking drugs, or if you`ve dealt with them, you know the difference.
HAMMER: Jack, there`s been a – a lot of criticism of the people who surrounded Anna Nicole Smith, people saying that they simply did not do enough to prevent what was a preventable death. So said the coroner.
Did it seem to you that Daniel was really one of the only people who was truly looking out for her, and – and for Anna Nicole`s best interest?
HARDING: Oh, yes. He – he – he loved his mother with a passion. He – he told me that he – he – he was almost sickened by the fact that he was in control of – of his mother.
Not sure of the airing date for the one above but it looks as though he added some when he spoke Hammer to what he had told Nancy. OK off to research some more.
Your second to the last paragraph, about the agent being at the grave w/ Virgie on Jan. 31st. Do you or anyone actually know if it was indeed David Leigh or just the Splash photo people?

What Did Stern Do During This?
Harding said that just three hours before his mysterious death, Anna Nicole Smith’s son was playing with his newborn sister. But by 9.30am, Daniel Smith, 20, was covered in blood and vomit and dead in his mother’s hospital room.

In a blockbuster interview, FOX News Greta Van Sustern met with Jack Harding, a private investigator that Daniel met with just before his untimely death at the age of 20.
In a fascinating segment, Harding described how he met Daniel, and how the young man told him of his fear for his mother’s life, as well as the drugs and undue influence of Howard K Stern on his relationship with his mom.
As Harding related the months leading up to Daniel’s death, the young man was living with former boyfriend of Anna Nicole, a man who was a father figure to Daniel. The boyfriend introduced Daniel to Harding, who in turn gave Daniel his card as a matter of conversation.
Harding says he received an unexpected call from “Danny” and met him at restaurant at his request. He noticed that he seemed quite upset, tense. When Harding asked why he had contacted him, Daniel said with tears welling up in his eyes that he had a sickening dream.. that he dreamt he saw his mother in a coffin. He told Harding of his concerns that things were not well and that his mom was getting a tremendous amount of mindbending drugs.
According to Harding, Daniel wanted him to follow people, in fact his whole family, in the Bahamas saying he was “in fear for his mother’s life, and wanted to prove he was a man… to protect her.” Harding said that Daniel felt he was being pushed out of his own family, away from Anna Nicole, because when he would try to call her and Stern answered, he would hang up immediately.
In fact, Harding claims Daniel told him he learned there was a “standing order” that if he called, anyone answering the phone was to hang up.
Daniel also expressed great concern about the drugs his mother was receiving and said he wanted to find out what was going on and stop it. He apparently felt that Stern was jealous of him because his mother would turn to her son.. that she loved him very much.
Harding said it was obvious Daniel loved his mom and was concerned for her. He felt that Daniel was concerned about the animosity and jealousy on Stern’s part toward him.
While Harding was awaiting a call from Daniel to finalize arrangements for the private investigator’s trip, he learned instead that the young man had died in his mother’s hospital room.
Authorities contacted Harding when they found his business card on Daniel’s body.

COOPER: Well, when Daniel died, a business card was found on his body. The card belonged to a private investigator named Jack Harding.
The two met about a month before Daniel’s death. And what Daniel confided in him may surprise you.
I spoke to Jack Harding a short time ago.

COOPER: Jack, the authorities today said that they found — and I quote — “nothing to indicate foul play” in Anna Nicole Smith’s death.
Do you buy that?
JACK HARDING, PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR: No, I don’t.
COOPER: Why?
HARDING: Well, I had talked to — well, actually, today, I had met and talked to Jackie (ph) — I believe it’s Hammond (ph). I may be mistaken.
But she was the godmother of Danny. And she was talking to me about Anna Nicole’s drug habit. And she said she was constantly on drugs, and Stern was giving — giving her drugs all the time. And it’s the same thing that Danny told me when I met him. He wanted to get his mother off drugs.
COOPER: What was it that he originally said to you, when — when he came essentially for your help?
HARDING: Well, I had met him prior to that, and gave him my business card. And — and I told him, if you ever needed me, give me a call. And I — you know, I never expect anyone to call me. And he did.
COOPER: He was staying with a — he was staying with a former boyfriend of Anna Nicole’s?
HARDING: Yes, he was. The former boyfriend…

COOPER: Who you knew, and that’s how the contact was made?
HARDING: That’s right.
COOPER: How did he strike you. When you were — when you sat down for — for the meeting in a restaurant, how did Danny seem? HARDING: When I met Danny, and, of course, when Danny came in to see me, he was very lucid. He was clear of skin. His eyes were clear. He wasn’t anorexic that I could see. He was a good — well, slim, but good body tone.
COOPER: And he had a — a dream about his mother dying; is that correct?
HARDING: This is when I asked him: Oh, well, why — why are you contacting me about this?
And he said: Well, I had a dream that my mother was in a casket, and she was gray, gray-looking.
And then his eyes started tearing up, and he was shivering a little. And, so, I didn’t ask any more questions about that. And he told me that he wanted me to go to the Bahamas and investigate Stern and his co — as he called them, cohorts, because, for one thing, when he would call his mother, if Stern picked up the phone, he would hang up on him. And…

COOPER: So, he’s — he’s really painting a portrait — he was, to you painting a portrait of Howard K. Stern that — I mean, it seems like Stern was controlling access to his mother.
HARDING: Yes.
He felt that — well, Stern had pushed him out of his — away from his family, from his mother. And he felt that — well, that Stern was jealous of him, and Stern wanted control, and wanted the boy out of the picture altogether.
COOPER: There were a number of drugs obviously found in his system. Did — did he speak about that at all? Did you know he was taking anything? There was methadone in his system.
HARDING: Danny, to me, he didn’t have any drugs on him. And he was — he never stumbled. He never slurred. He — he was lucid, very lucid.
COOPER: Jack, appreciate you — you talking. Thanks very much.
HARDING: You’re welcome.
OK so why did Harding meet with Jackie and how did they about one another? Another words who contacted who?

Anna Nicole Smith Saga – We will learn the father of Anna Nicole’s baby daughter later today. However, the late son of Anna Nicole Smith, Daniel, reportedly feared his mother was being kept in a drugged state.
Daniel Smith allegedly came close to hiring a private detective to investigate her relationship with companion Howard K. Stern, according to reports.
California private investigator Jack E. Harding has revealed the troubled 20-year-old came to him with his concerns three months before he died last September (06) – but never followed through on his plans to commission the detective, reports WENN.
In a private meeting, Daniel told Harding (scroll half way down) he feared his mother was being held “a virtual prisoner” in Nassau, the Bahamas by Stern, who was controlling her like a Svengali.
“Daniel felt Stern was keeping her on mind-bending drugs even though she was pregnant (with baby Dannielynn). He feared for his mother’s well-being… and he was angry at being pushed out of his mother’s life.”
Following Daniel’s suspicious drug overdose death days after his baby sister was born, the private detective contacted Bahamian detectives.

the book was orginally published 1996 and updated after Daniel died…..ready weeks before Anna died.
It was a mean spirited book and does not speak well of Anna.
The point I am trying to make is they have been trying for a very long time to make Anna look like bad, and the reasons seem pretty clear to me.
I have seen the lengths they are going to or anyone who shows them for what they are doing.
They have taken this poor women and disected her life to no end.

and if not, why doesn’t he want to testify?
This is just my thought on this question.
I think he may have already made a statement,
perhaps not directly at authorities, but to Anna
or Howard, and it may be reflected in their

A stolen laptop computer containing pictures of Anna Nicole Smith has been recovered and six people allegedly involved in its theft will soon answer to charges in court.
The laptop was one of numerous items stolen from Edgewood Studios, five other businesses and one residence at the Howe Center in Rutland. The break-ins took place in the wake of a violent windstorm that hit the city early on the morning on April 16. Although I don’t actually have a clue to what has transpired, if I was Ashton, I would not think about commenting about a car accident w/o an attorney, let alone this. I would contact my attorney to make any comments if necessary or wait for a Demand Letter to arrive from Howard or Wood…and Larry’s attorney…lol My guess is E and Aston may have already received one of these on behalf of Dannielynn/Anna IF both E and producer are liable and would be on behalf of Anna and/or Dannielynn. I would love to know how many of these Howard and Larry’s attorney’s have sent out…This may have been the route Larry has went in regard to Cosby’s book and others…

Sorry Heath, you may already know this and it is only my opinion, but I have seen so many bloggers referring to Howard or Larry threatening so and so, that I just thought I would try to help maybe one person better understand.
In some jurisdictions a Demand Letter is a requirement or you can lose the case.

Police find stolen laptop with Anna Nicole pix

A stolen laptop computer containing pictures of Anna Nicole Smith has been recovered and six people allegedly involved in its theft will soon answer to charges in court.
The laptop was one of numerous items stolen from Edgewood Studios, five other businesses and one residence at the Howe Center in Rutland. The break-ins took place in the wake of a violent windstorm that hit the city early on the morning on April 16. While the storm knocked out power to most of the city, the Howe Center had electricity and cameras in some of the buildings photographed the burglars in the act.
The laptop, by far the most expensive item stolen from the complex, was recovered undamaged just days after the break-in, according to Edgewood President David Giancola.

Police Detective Ray Lamoria said Monday police were able to quickly unravel the case thanks to an arrest they made before the burglary was reported.
Early in the morning on April 16, police charged 18-year-old Daniel J. Guyette of Rutland with violating the conditions of his release for another offense after they found him at the intersection of Granger and River streets in Rutland at 4:20 a.m.
When they arrested Guyette, they found a new pair of work gloves with the tags still on them and a bottle of maple syrup — both items that would later be reported stolen from Edgewood Studios.
Before the week was over, Lamoria said police had accumulated enough evidence for a search warrant, which they carried out at the home of 18-year-old Aaron M. Gero of West Rutland. The stolen laptop was found in Gero’s home along with a number of other items, including a pet corn snake stolen from the Howe Center.
Guyette, who pleaded innocent on Monday to violating his conditions of release, was arrested on charges of burglary, possession of stolen goods and assessory after the fact.
Gero was arrested and charged with possession of stolen goods.
Four other people have also been charged in the case, Lamoria said.
Brennan E. Bigelow, 16, of Rutland, was charged with burglary and possession of stolen goods. Tony D. Eldien, 20, of Rutland, was charged with possession of stolen goods. Timothy M. Pearson, 19, of Rutland, was charged with possession of stolen property.
All six were issued citations to answer to the charges in Rutland District Court on June 18.

thanks for that reminder. There were so many crazy little things that happened after she passed, I hope they are not all connected. Such as the fake court papers, fake Houston Chronicle article re: paid bloggers, stolen everything. SOOO much.
With 3 criminals arrested for that, you would think one of them would talk, if they were bribed to commit the act to get a lighter sentence??
When this Inquest is done we need to make open record demands on all these crazy little things that happened and see what the end result is or if case is still opened.
I wonder if Lincoln is going to be reporting on the Inquest next week? He didn’t last month.

All I can say about all of this and the way certain people went after Anna and now HKS is it had to be hard.
Look at the beating Rose is taking just for reporting and Art and some of us who have merely blogged and have some opinions on this subject.
I can not even imagine how hard Anna’s life had to be after her son died. I remember how she cried on the ET interview about
why they were doing this to her at a time like that. I get a lump in my throat just thinking about it, still.
I pray to God and ask him to take a hand in this and protect us who only want justice and peace and mostly protection for a little girl named Dannielynn.
I don’t think anyone will ever find out the truth about what has been set in motion to stop Anna and Howard going after the Marshall money.

Seems like information gathering has been the aim with the thefts at Horizons, The thefts at the film production office. The deposition of Howard was to fish for information and to see contracts and documents. There must be a hell of a secret out there to go to this much trouble and expense. IMO

The less ethical she did during her visit, was try to film Horizon, it was so pitiful to see her filming through the front gate.
